i somewhat agree with the loans, but part of me feels that they should be tested in the first team before being sent out on loan. When you look at players like Foden, he refused to go out on loan and learn from the senior players in training. He came little cameos in the cup and league but then evolved into a first team starter. the guy has won 6 premier league titles and hes only 23. I firmly believe that we have alot of talented youngsters and we should be putting them in and around the senior squad. They'll learn alot more of players like Kudus, Bowen, Emerson, Alverez than they would off Joe Jacobson, Elliot Watt & Daryl Dike. Declan Rice never went on loan... and we sold him for £105m.
Although Potts has had an amazing season in League one, He'll NEVER be a League one player on a permanent basis. He's class and deserves the oppourtunity - who knows!
I would keep our players, mix them in with the senior squad and keep them playing PL2 football and EFL cup to keep up their match fitness.

Gideon Kodua is a top player, seen him live and was really starting to come into his own towards the end of his loan.

Love your academy analysis Russ. I watch all the games on the telly when they are shown live,often from the opposing teams channel which is interesting to hear their call.
Orford should be intergrated at the start of the season then sent out on loan in Jan unless he's holding his own. Marshall unless he pulls up loads of trees in pre-season goes out on loan straight away. Earthy needs a bit of muscle like Bowen who is hard to knock of the ball. I like Forbes but he is injury prone.A bit similar to Harwood Bellis at Southampton (City loan ) but needs a season injury and possibly a loan.Jnr Robinson i like but has come into the team of late and is injured. Hopefully Scarles doesn't keep growing as that could affect his injuries etc. Regan Clayton is a very dynamic left back. Good creator and a good all round size for a full back. Kouda needs a good season out on loan

Has Loppy actually signed on the dotted line yet , could all be just rumours ( just hoping it's the case 🤔 ) , and we haven't shot our bolt . Surely the likes of Noble and Steidten have their ears to the ground and have an idea of what is going on at other clubs ie , Chelsea and Poch , Brighton and De Zerbi .
Really hoping that a few of the youngsters can make the grade .
No mention of Dan Rigge,Russy I take we are losing him to the Spuds academy?That will be a proper shame if he does leave us 😢
