My favorite entree is the tomato and peas. The chickpeas really kept a lot of texture and held up the best over the long haul. A little hot sauce and a bed of rice and you would have a feast.

Everything in those packets tastes about 1,000 times better than it looks. It's the cruel reality of MREs. Best to eat it with your eyes closed.
