Tools: Phillips screwdriver, 1/4" nut driver, flathead screwdriver, needle nose pliers.
This GE made Dryer Heating Element replaces the following older part numbers on General Electric, Hotpoint, RCA, Sears and Kenmore Dryers: 3029257, WE11M32.

Do heating elements go out completely always, or can they partially go out so clothes still get dry but seem to take longer? I still feel heat when I open the door but it seems drying loads takes more time than it did just a year ago.
What is the model number of your dryer? Do you happen to have a multimeter? How often do you clean the lint catcher or the duct work that leads outside?
How TF do you get that element back in there in line with the tabs!?
Did you try to slightly turn it clockwise to slide it under the tabs and into the slot?
He did say how to take out the drum...
