@@Ira.1 please get it replaced in local shops. It's not worth as device is old and no more software and security updates from Xiaomi. And No 5G. Funnily, i got my screen replaced today itself with decent quality screen which is around 2k. It just takes 10-15 mins work. Suggestion: please don't share passwords even if the shop guy insists to share to check the new screen functioning.

@@Ira.1 just make it repair in a local shop as i changed display a year ago and it definitely worth, feels like original. OG display cost would be around 1500-1800 in local market or may be less, if posible, replace its battery too because i just changed the battery as well and my poco f1's battery backup become almost double or triple. This phone always deserve to be used as your primary device, it can easily compete with any flagship phone of 2023.
7gen series cpu is almost similar but gpu is not close to 8 gen series. as a performance freak I would buy 8 gen 2 when the prices drops more in few months

The phone you said might be good CUZ it lasted through all these years but well, even the indestructible nokia phones have never exactly died (for people who still have em, it's still pretty much usable) but it's not like you can play warzone or genshin in it + the battery pretty low, efficiency and refresh rate of the screen + some other stuff like camera and other display specs. China literally owns or makes or does a part of atleast one or every single piece of hardware everyone owns in the world rn.

@@Ira.1 if you replace it in authorised service centre then you'll get the orginal parts but it'll cost you a bit more but if you go for a wholesale market for repair then you can replace it like in between 1500-2000 rs depending on the shop and quality of the display. If you lcd is working just broke the glass then you can replace the glass in just 600-800 rupees

On poco F1 right now, got this around oct 16 2018 during launch. Planning to change after 5 year completion mark this oct as from past 2 months i have noticed software failures and overheating, it happens once in a while now. Also i have done a battery change in 2021. This is a solid phone for something and way ahead of time during 2018.

7+ Gen 2 isn't that Cut down tbh. And except 870 all other 8 series chips were never that perfectly tuned. 7 series process were perfectly tuned but far more inferior than 8 series. But that might change with Gen 2
Still using Poco f1 Armoured edition bro. Bought it as soon as it got released in India, I think in 2018 or something. Best in software Worst in Hardware. Speakers are kind of burst, network IC is gone and I use a hotspot to use internet, got the screen replaced 7 times, the frame ia broken, the headphone jack doesn't work anymore so i use earpods, liquid cooling doesn't work anymore, the spare parts are not available in the market as it has been discontinued. BUT Istill love it so much that can't bear to part with it and buy a new one. 🤷🏻♂️

As a POCO user, the security updates are the worst. They offer support for only 2 years and that too not even quarterly security updates. What is the point of having a flagship processor when you are vulnerable to hacks?. For that reason, I decided to switch to Samsung S series mobiles.

I still use poco F1 and it easy beats any 25 to 30 k price segment phones, it also beat iphone 11 but using Gcam and it runs genshin impact smooth on medium 60 fps graphics but it gets a little hot, but it still works great.
Why people always runs after Snapdragon processor. Mediatek dimensity is also provide some powerful processors
It's sad that nobody is using this soc and choosing mediatek over it. I smell conspiracy.

Poco phone has a big issue of calling when wifi is connected. Even if the other person receives the call but either of us not able hear each other 😢😢😢😢😢
Watching from Poco F1 4 yrs passed still best performance, got battery replacement 6 months before.. i never think of replacement 😅
