Many of them also relate the quality of her foes. For one thing... the main "enemy" she'd have to face would be Aang, at least so far as the Avatar of the time period. And while Aang was a master Air Bender, he really doesn't begin learning to Fire Bend until the end of the series when Zuko joins "team Avatar." And it's something that Aang is really still learning when the series ends... and Toph even says that Aang could stand to learn more with Earth Bending as well. Thus, in a comparison between Azula and Aang... Azula would hold a power and training advantage over Aang at that time... By the time that Aang manages to master Fire and Earth Bending, it would likely be sometime between "Avatar" and "Legend of Kora." Thus, Aang wasn't at his prime, yet. And I wouldn't be sure that Azula would actually be able to beat Aang in his prime. When Kuvira faces Kora, though, Kora has not only grown up, but achieved some measure of mastery over all of the elements in ways that Aang hadn't by the end of his series. In this the fight between Kuvira and Kora at the end of "Legend of Kora" would actually be between two foes in their prime. I'd also put it that in terms of raw power, Kora would also have more power than Azula, and Kuvira was more than able to hold her own against the Avatar. She's really only beaten because Mako manages to blow up the spirit vine core of the mech that Kora and Kuvira were battling in. On top of all this... by the end of "Avatar," Azula's begun to mentally slide into insanity. This slide is quick as she feels betrayal over earlier events with Mai and Ty Lee and has ended up sending servants, guards, and plenty of others out of the palace for reasons that make no logical sense. And when told of this... Azula sends more away to the point that when Katara and Zuko arrive for the final duel... Azula's the only one there. And while the team's plan had been for Katara and Zuko to take Azula as a team, Zuko takes her on one on one and states, "she's slipping." And through the course of that fight, Zuko manages to more than hold his own against Azula and really only gets hurt when he tries to bait her into shooting lightning at him and she shoots lightning at Katara. Zuko then has to go through a pretty much self-sacrificial dive to prevent Katara from taking the full force of it. In contrast, while Kuvira could be arrogant to looking down on certain opponents, Kuvira never falls into the sort of insanity that Azula falls into. In this, throughout Kora's final season, she is able to retain her mental faculties throughout the series. We can judger to be wrong... as dictators usually are... but Kuvira remained sane and analytical that in turn enabled her to respond to actions that probably would have beaten the insane Azula outright.
@@SamuelJamesNary It was not just about the insanity! We can admit that Metals are dangerous but any mastery level bender at their sanity would not let themselves be dominate by metals! Metals are solid figures and can be blocked by any bending, even an airbender can blocked metal figures. Not to mention the agility and capability to go toe to toe to an Air bending Master is something that Azula has on her edge! Why would we go for an Azula loosing her sanity against Kuvira, right? not to mention she lost her sanity thru betrayals from her love once not from her opponent. Her lightning ⚡️ is will be her greatest weapon against metal (it took seconds to cast lightning not a minute or so). Aang (Airbender Master & Avatar) admits that she’s too fast for her. Scientifically her fire is hottest fire on the entire franchise. Kuvira fought a weak version of Korra (we’ve seen how korra fights, she goes by brute force not being clever at all).
@@jay71115 - And to a great degree, if Azula had retained her sanity... I'd give a relatively solid edge over Kuvira as her mind would still be intact to engage with an opponent and would be better able and ready to exploit certain weaknesses... particularly in the fact that metal, like water, is not something one wants to be around when dealing with electricity. But the fact remains that by the end of "Avatar," Azula was nuts... And the cause of that sort of thing is ultimately irrelevant... particularly if it's something that hasn't been addressed. Given Azula's references to her mother and the fact that her mother is one of the hallucinations she has, even if what happened to her wasn't the result of something genetic... it'd be pretty clear that she'd NEVER addressed these sorts of issues through her entire life. Thus, those feelings of betrayal and everything else that caused Azula's inanity are not going to just vanish against a different opponent. It would also be something that Kuvira would note fairly quickly, just as Zuko did in the last duel. And to a great degree, Kuvira would likely goad Azula along a similar avenue of attack as she did in her first fight with Kora... the one where Kora was only just getting over the physical effects of the poison from the previous season but had yet to fully get over the mental and spiritual effects of that poison. And given how unstable Azula was by the end of "Avatar," that wouldn't be good for her... Particularly as metal isn't Kuvira's only weapon. Kuvira is technically an Earth Bender, and that Metal Bending is more a specialization within that field. Which would mean that Kuvira could still use Earthen shields and many of the other tactics used by other known Earth benders that could provide shielding against lightning attacks. That could also in turn enable Kuvira to manipulate the ground that Azula would be standing on... throw off her aim and so forth.
Ming Hua > Combustion Lady Her versatility is almost Avatar Level, yet she only bends water and has no arms to help guide her bending. Combustion Lady is just an advanced version of Combustion Man and was pretty much defeated in the same manner
Yup i feel like P'Li is overrated. Her fire bending is only a few redirection and one weak attack. For sure she knows more because she was going to be fire bending teacher to next avatar yet we never saw anything impressive in just fire bending and combustion bending works mostly from distance. Her fights were also mostly against earth benders who are more "i tank hit with the rock" were she would look much better. She is agile but im not sure how good she would fight against Ming Hua, who could close the distance and prevent her from using combustion in close range. This list very good. Finally someone has understand that Katara is the strongest Female character in Avatar, besides the avatars, but she is also the strongest waterbender we have ever seen, mastering all forms of Waterbending in such short times makes her one of the strongest characters in all of avatar. Great video once again, though I have to say I disagree with Hama's placement. Based on your comments, you are justifying her ranking because of her ability to blood bend, however, this is not an end all be all. First, I'm not sure if I would even consider Hama a master blood bender, as she was defeated by Katara who had a total of zero experience with the art, and , we have seen the capabilities to which a true master can take bloodbending as witnessed in the Yakone lineage. Secondly we have seen Mako partially resist bloodbending from the absolute best bloodbender, so much so that he was able to lightning bend which requires far more effort than just firebending. Based on this, there is a possibility for someone at Azulas level to get off a quick bolt of lightning to defeat Hama. As for Toph, I think she would easily defeat Hama. Toph has the ability to create a rock/metal suit, which I believe will sheild her. Hama is able to blood bend less powerfull benders unders the full moon, however I severely doubt her ability to blood bend toph with that suit on. Anyway, theres my reasoning for that, keep up the great work.
Hamma is an old lady omg. Also she has shown more creative than any other woman in the series. She discovered bloodbending, water extraction from plants and from air by her own. She has no raw power, but she has shown more creativity with her bending than katara, azula and toph.
Blood bending can stop benders from attacking you when u manage to gain control of their will as seen in the Southern Raiders when Katara blood bended the Raiders general as he was shooting fireballs to Zuko & Katara
Yes it changes, because I always have to rewatch the show and judge again.. Sometimes I might have missed something that I didn't notice immediately. 😉😎
Lol. Toph using dirt is one of the amazing plot holes Azula enjoyed as a character, the first was outrunning Aang (an airbending speedster) when she was been chased during an eclipse on the day of black sun.
@@Ei_Shogun Maybe but that was because Katara got lucky, and Azula was mentally unstable. If Azula was mentally stable, Azula would have definitely defeated katara. Even without the comet Azula has the better chance of winning

interesting how u compared characters from the legend of Kora to characters in the last air bender. Its really hard to do so as those in the legend Kora have advanced bending skills. I would consider Azula to be stronger than Katara and Toph though. Azula fought both Zuko and Katara at the same time
BUT That being said I agree for the most part besides Lin and suyin. I also think Ming hua should be higher on the list. But yes I agree about Katara everyone forgets about how she is the best prodigy in the series
Just thinking here, do you think Katara would have been able to bloodbend without the full moon? She didnt like doing it, and never practiced bloodbending. She was immune to it because she was a stronger water bender than hama (which the fire nation litteraly had to commition like 100 firebenders to finally capture her), and the only reason she decided to pick it up was because Aang and sokka was about to become seriously injured with hama's bloodbending.... Even the great Amon had to practice for years before he mastered it. Amon was also immune to tarlok bloodbending...hmmmm
Toph is the best in my mind, and then Azula. I put her ahead of Azula bc I think Azulas mental state is her downfall. They both are patient and good at reading opponents but I just don’t see how Toph could lose in a 1v1 considering she could just trap Azula in stone and leave her powerless. Earth bending just seems to be the most powerful and effective at stopping an opponent. Like I said she could literally just trap Azula in rock, metal, etc and it’s over just like that
@@MindBursterz you didn’t understand my message. I was mad that Hama was above azula is what I was trying to say but I forgot she invented blood bending. I’m not mad katara is above her (-_-)

katara is more creative than toph so creating metalbending doesn't provide much in the arguement. Also katara is just too creative not just once of twice but every time. She created so much stances and took inspiration from other elements to create her waterbending stances like how iroh used inspiration from other elements to redirect lightning. This also happened during sozin's comet which had azula's powers at its peak.
The water benders are strongest if they can use blood bender, no bender can bending if there body can't move. Only blood bender can win against blood bender and if they are strong enough, bc of that we can tell how powerful Katara's waterbending was when i can win the old lady with around 50 years training blood bending. If katara use all she learned like use water in air trees or anything has water and blood bending, even avatars will struggle to win against her
Toph learn all earth bending art by herself. She is even stronger than any Avatar. And for versatility, she always makes her way in any situation. 12) Jinora
13) Eska
14) Ikki
15) Opal
Kyoshi was the strongest and most ruthless female bender.
Finally someone putting lin over su
between kyoshi and yamcha (edit: yangchen lol) , who do you think would have won? im not too sure actually lol
@@stephonlowe1943 With the Avatar State Kyoshi, just bc she'll have more past avatar's wisdom. However w/out I would say Yangchen. Yangchen had more control with her bending then Kyoshi, was more well rounded, and a lot smarter in both "normal" IQ and battle IQ
If the Avatars are included, then it would have been :
1. Avatar Yang Chen
2. Avatar Kiyoushi
3. Katara
avatar yangchen is more powerful than kyoshi for me
3. azula*
😐
So Katara is stronger than Korra ? 🤣
@@jelayace
Yes without Avatar State...
Azula the coldest bender in both universes considering her age. Easily she’s #1
I mean yeah. She’s definitely stronger than Toph but whatever I guess
It's very logical to put Hama on number 2 because of her resourcefulness and her bloodbending, new subscriber because your analysis is not subjective
I appreciate respectful opinions like this 🤝🏻
Hamma is an old lady omg.
Katara is a quick learner and she is my fav (honestly I like her more than the main character Aang
Bro why did you put me number eight in the thumbnail picture? 😮💨 Thank you for nickname pli sparky sparky boom woman 6:13 i really appreciate that
The more I watch these videos, the more I question if you guys watched/ understood the show. Plus, your rankings change depending on the video.
Yes it changes, because I always have to rewatch the show and judge again.. Sometimes I might have missed something that I didn't notice immediately. 😉😎
I just love the blind bandit
Toph is #1 PERIOD
Well said, even tho she's blind, she's the best to me
Lol. Toph using dirt is one of the amazing plot holes Azula enjoyed as a character, the first was outrunning Aang (an airbending speedster) when she was been chased during an eclipse on the day of black sun.
This list has a lot of things wrong with it.
1. Kuvira
2. Azula
3. Toph
4. Katara
(Etc, excluding the avatar Korra)
Ming-Hua>P’Li
katara beat azula while azula had sozin's comet. He isn't including avatar's because that's unfair.
Azula to Kuvira: the divine right to rule is something you are born with! 💅
@@Ei_Shogun Maybe but that was because Katara got lucky, and Azula was mentally unstable. If Azula was mentally stable, Azula would have definitely defeated katara. Even without the comet Azula has the better chance of winning
@@ParkerMeyer-bd1qj Do you remember the battle in the basing se when katara almost destroyed Azula without any boost for them both?
@@abdidaromest911just because katara almost won that fight doesn't mean she will always do. I get that azula is so overrated, but also we haven't seen her sane and lighting bend against katara.
Avatar Kyosi just laughed seeing these 😂
Your ranking is good, but, between topjnand katara, topj takes the lead.i know some of you will say blood bending. The reason why tophs bending is incredible is she senses an opponent before he/she strikes, something even bumi hasn't mastered,Is like she knows her opponent movement before they even make it
I clicked this because the thumbnail says Toph is at #8.
Azula was able to hold of the whole of team avatar on her own toph included. This may be unpopular, but no way toph is better than Azula.
King Hua is my favorite character. Coulda watched her on that screen every episode till the end
Do one for most powerful females, including non benders, pls.
Okay
I have some disagreement with you
1.sane Azula
2.Toph
3.Katara
4.Hama
5.Kuvira
6.Pli
7.Lin and Suyin
8.the girl with the water tentacles i forgot her name
9.aang and katara daughter i also forgot her name
10.Jinora
Finally someone is not underestimating Katara! Excluding Avatars Katara is definitely the best female bender in the verse
My favorite female characters are
1.Toph
2. Katara
3. Kioshi(not included)
I’m always laughing at how mean 4.Toph is But also how smart she is
Toph being number 3 and Hama number 1 is a Serious JOKE for sure...🤣had me rolling down the aisles with laughs
If Katara studied firebenders like Iroh would she learn steam bending?
Maybe
interesting how u compared characters from the legend of Kora to characters in the last air bender.
Love your videos. Disagree with some of the things. But why can't you actually say P'li as opposed to peelee.
Hama
Great videos man but you always troll a lot , toph has never struggled in a fight i am sure she will figure out something against blood benders.
My top 3:
1. Katara
2. Azula
3.toph
My favorite females character: toph...
Like I said she could literally just trap Azula in rock, metal, etc and it’s over just like that
Mine:
1. Katara
2.Toph
3. Azula
4. Hama
5. Kuvira
6. Lin
7. Suyin
8. Ming hua
9. Pli
10. Kya
11. Jinora
I don't know why toph used dirt 😂😂😂 lmfaooooo
I can't tell if Toph and Kitara fight who will win,but she definitely not only be eight!!!
I thought Azula would be top 3. When I saw Hama as #2 I got mad bc I forgot the chick made the most vile/OP form of bending IMO
Katara bested her so?
@@MindBursterz you didn’t understand my message. I was mad that Hama was above azula is what I was trying to say but I forgot she invented blood bending. I’m not mad katara is above her (-_-)
@@CarribeanCJ okay
Hama and bloodbending as a whole is so confusing when it comes to rankings
If not for bloodbending Toph obviously is the number 1 but bloodbending is only her weakness
Just putting it out, but pakku confirms that katara is the best waterbender on earth in the comics. Azula and toph never held this distinction considering toph stalemates with bumi
I’m confused? In the strongest earth bender video you had Lin above suyin so why are they switched now?
I had to go rewatch it again.
@@MindBursterzso what made you change your mind? Cause in their 1v1 remember Lin was very sick and held her own the whole time
@@jordanordonez9950 I studied how Lin faught and how Suyin faught. When Su fights she uses her brains, she studies her opponent to know how she'll attack next. Tbh I feel she would have beaten Kuvira, part of me still thinks she still saw kuvira as her daughter. There's alot I noticed though
@@MindBursterz I agree that she could beat kuvira. I think both her and Lin can. Kuvira had a full suit of armor that had the sword and cable that was an advantage compared to su who had nothing. But if you look at how Lin fought that metal bender in the last episode I think she also could take on kuvira
was korra in there?
Where is kora
is it just me or does korra not appear here?!?!?!
Probably because dirt can help put out fire 🤷🏻♂️
Korra is also an excellent fighter and bender. Asami a non bender being an excellent fighter. They should be included.
Can you please rate may and Ty Le!?
You forgot MELON LORD!
The way you didn’t put gran gran is criminal 🥺
Azula should be first. She literally soloed team avatar including zuko and Iroh in a 1v6 by herself
U should add kora
Why? she is Avatar. She should be in Avatar list
Matata Is my very favorite bicus Olson her clothes are my favorite color 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Matata
Kitara outsmarted a very unstable Azula....that is how she won... And COMPLETELY glossed over the fact that Toph INVENTED Metalbending
Inventing metalbending doesn't make toph the best bender.
katara is more creative than toph so creating metalbending doesn't provide much in the arguement. Also katara is just too creative not just once of twice but every time. She created so much stances and took inspiration from other elements to create her waterbending stances like how iroh used inspiration from other elements to redirect lightning. This also happened during sozin's comet which had azula's powers at its peak.
Most great benders and not great because of their talent as a bender (doesn't hurt though), it's because of their intangibles and quick thinking.
Kyoshi
U forgot to mention toph invented metal bending.. now Hama can only blood bend during full moon so I wouldn’t put her above toph azula, kovira
Azula:don’t flatter your self you were not even a player hits harder she not only a good firebender she can manipulate one’s mind she did it to zuko
Azula, my favorite.
What about Korra?
She's stronger than P'li maybe even suyin
She is an Avatar, not fair
Idc what this list says when I look up the definition of big dawg, a picture of Toph should be right next to it. Lol
everything is fine but i think Katara should me 3 and Azula or toph being 1st. Like 1st Toph or Azula.2nd Katara. 3rd Hama
Initially I was concerned I haven’t seen Katara yet, but if you put her anywhere other then #1 your a criminal
The water benders are strongest if they can use blood bender, no bender can bending if there body can't move. Only blood bender can win against blood bender and if they are strong enough, bc of that we can tell how powerful Katara's waterbending was when i can win the old lady with around 50 years training blood bending. If katara use all she learned like use water in air trees or anything has water and blood bending, even avatars will struggle to win against her
Toph is literally the best tho. She should be number 1
Ming Hua and Kuvira ❤
11:18 “she somehow managed to hold her own against four benders at once.” When there’s clearly five 🤦🏾♂️
Toph is my favorite character
I think top is the strongest
Ming Hua doesn't actually use her mind to waterbend, she uses her lower body like hips, legs and feet. Just something to keep in mind.
11:26 is epic
so the thumbnail was just misleading?
I do indeeed agree with this list! And sorry legend of Korra but in avatar the last airbender girls are better!!
Lin and Suyin are equal, Lin is the stronger Earthbender , Suyin is the Fexlible Metalbender.
Actually I think Kuvira might be actually the strongest together with Korra. Hama should be way lower.
nice list but switch Suyin and Lin
Good list
Glad you enjoyed it
Toph learn all earth bending art by herself. She is even stronger than any Avatar. And for versatility, she always makes her way in any situation. She only woman Bender, who discovers another bending style in young age that is metal bending without the help of any mentor. She can defeat any pro bender with easy. And for leadership, on her command, Earth Kingdoms security dependent as long as she is incharge. Even her kids are as strong as her
Lyn is underrated
Kuvira should be at least #3. Tho oh should be #1
