People forget that Katara becomes a master within a year, beat the prodigy Azula who has trained her whole life. Katara was the last waterbender of the Southern water tribe and self-taught for 16 years before she found a master. Many argue Toph should hold spot#1. She is incredibly strong and mastered her bending making her the best earthbender in the world. Having lost her mother, she acted like a "mother" to others taking responsibility to take care of them. So she had to learn everything.

I kinda feel the same but I still think toph should have been #1 because she would pretty easily win in a fight against katara, I mean look at what she did to Kora not to mention inventing metal bending
@@j.43 bro toph and katara almost had a fight break out between them in atla and it ended with toph about to drop a killer elbow on katara🤣🤣 credits to the boys for breaking it up that was getting serious but really toph would beat katara in a fight
Just for those who wonder why Katara further is #1 compared all of these others: he forgot to mention that of course Katara also knows how to bloodbend, is able to use water tentacles like Ming-Hua and even in the future she is named the best healer of the world. Mostly the bloodbending even brings her over to spor #1
True. Katara is the strongest female charatcher in the Avatar series. And yes I saw that some people say it s Toph. But you need to remeber that bloodbending is the strongest element in the Avatar universe and out of the original Avatar charatcers Katara was the only one who master it in prfection. So I agree it s Katara.
Yea guys but amm bloodbending. Katara is literally only female charatcer out of all of these that you said is the only one who know s how to do that. And amm if they tryed to attack her and she use bloodbending Toph and Azula don t stand a chance.
This list very good. Finally someone has understand that Katara is the strongest Female character in Avatar, besides the avatars, but she is also the strongest waterbender we have ever seen, mastering all forms of Waterbending in such short times makes her one of the strongest characters in all of avatar. She is completely immune against bloodbending, can heal herself and her pure waterbending skills are all perfect.
@@senordominador7116 It was stated that she mastered them in one of the comics I think, but forgot the name (I will write it to you if find it out). But this will be explained in the upcoming avatar series so let just wait.

@@MindBursterz yea but she can only blood bend on a full moon, so it's fine to put her on the list since Blood bending is very strong but since it can only be done once a month, she should be lower on the list, same with Katara, she is way weaker then azula
1. Karara 2. Toph 3. Azula In this descending order. Katara is a master water bender that blood bends as well....the deadliest sub bending u will ever see. She takes the first spot bcuz of this. FUN FACT: Even Jinora can beat Toph cuz she won't be standing on the ground to do so. Remember Toph uses on feet to see and feel the environment...an air bender would just have to be levitated to give Toph no clue (like Aang did). 😂
No way Suyin is ranked higher than Lin. The only reason Suyin seemed to have the upper hand during her fight with Lin was because Lin was mentally ill during that moment. But Lin has had way more feats than Suyin considering the fact that Lin is the chief of police. Suyin is mostly a dancer and doesn’t have the experience Lin has.
@@stephonlowe1943 With the Avatar State Kyoshi, just bc she'll have more past avatar's wisdom. However w/out I would say Yangchen. Yangchen had more control with her bending then Kyoshi, was more well rounded, and a lot smarter in both "normal" IQ and battle IQ
Its funny that you rank suyin higher than p’li even tho she couldn’t even touch her without lin drawing her out or bolin temporarily knocking her out. Another thing people always seem to forget that before fighting suyin lin went through a straining process both physically and mentally and didn’t take the time to recover from it, and people tend to give suyin the w in that fight even tho it wasn’t finished 😂. Everytime suyin fought she ether had massive help or she outright lost.
I would say Top is the most powerful, if we don't consider Katara's ability to blood bend, otherwise she woke win against any character (Except an avatar), assuming she learnt how to do it in the day, which she probably could of, had she tried. In general, water bending is fairly weak compared to the other elements in my opinion, except for blood bending.
in season 3 episode 16 katara had already blood bended the first nation soldier without the full moon. Might have been a mistake on the animators part but seeing how Katara mastered a more of water bending without taking much time says so much she can do if she was to continue with blood bending. She would be the strongest blood bender since not only would she have been the 2nd ever to learn, she was also the strongest at the time and she would have mastered it by the time the other blood benders were to be born in LOK. She is also currently the only blood bender alive...
this is an all out battle and everyone should be at their best (Katara’s best is at full moon state). If Katara without full moon that’s powerful water bender but not at her best!
Top 3 is def between Azula, Katara and Toph.. But it is dificult to say a definite order because a duel between them can can go very differently depending on the circumstances surrounding it. Is Azula in an stable mental state or not? How much water/earth/metal their arena has? How are those elements distributed? Is there a rare cosmic event going on (full moon/Sozin's Comet)? Is the fight taking place during the day or at night? All those things impact greatly and would change the result of the fight. The placement of the elements in their arena is also very important. For example if there is a huge body of water and Katara fights inside of it, it would be a great advantage against Toph, who can't swim, but a lighting from Azula in the water is game over for Katara. If they are fighting in a big open field, Toph could simply go underground and safely attack any of them from there.
Great video once again, though I have to say I disagree with Hama's placement. Based on your comments, you are justifying her ranking because of her ability to blood bend, however, this is not an end all be all. First, I'm not sure if I would even consider Hama a master blood bender, as she was defeated by Katara who had a total of zero experience with the art, and , we have seen the capabilities to which a true master can take bloodbending as witnessed in the Yakone lineage. Secondly we have seen Mako partially resist bloodbending from the absolute best bloodbender, so much so that he was able to lightning bend which requires far more effort than just firebending. Based on this, there is a possibility for someone at Azulas level to get off a quick bolt of lightning to defeat Hama. As for Toph, I think she would easily defeat Hama. Toph has the ability to create a rock/metal suit, which I believe will sheild her. Hama is able to blood bend less powerfull benders unders the full moon, however I severely doubt her ability to blood bend toph with that suit on. Anyway, theres my reasoning for that, keep up the great work.
Hamma is an old lady omg. Also she has shown more creative than any other woman in the series. She discovered bloodbending, water extraction from plants and from air by her own. She has no raw power, but she has shown more creativity with her bending than katara, azula and toph.
Lol. Toph using dirt is one of the amazing plot holes Azula enjoyed as a character, the first was outrunning Aang (an airbending speedster) when she was been chased during an eclipse on the day of black sun.
@@Ei_Shogun Maybe but that was because Katara got lucky, and Azula was mentally unstable. If Azula was mentally stable, Azula would have definitely defeated katara. Even without the comet Azula has the better chance of winning
@@abdidaromest911just because katara almost won that fight doesn't mean she will always do. I get that azula is so overrated, but also we haven't seen her sane and lighting bend against katara.
I would make an argument that Jinora is higher given she received her air bending tattoos at 13 years of age (which means you've become an air bending master), which is something only Aang (at 12 years old) and herself have achieved as air benders, not to mention she created the tornado that captured Zaheer before the other air benders helped. I can understand however why she's lower given there's no way to see how good her 1v1 fighting abilities are.
Yes it changes, because I always have to rewatch the show and judge again.. Sometimes I might have missed something that I didn't notice immediately. 😉😎
So Lin was put ahead of suy yin on the earth bending list but they flipped on the female bending list lol. Don't get me wrong. I think suy yin is better then Lin
Toph is strong but, remember when katara bent enough water to push a ship all by her 12 years old self !!! It took Hama and 5 other water benders to do a similar thing 😂. Katara is over powered I’m not gonna lie.
Toph continously stopped the library, which is bigger by far than katara's wave, from sinking while being under the heat of the sun in the dessert, with tons of sand on top of the structure and while being transported to the spirit world. Uwu
Yea this isn’t the greatest list, i have seen ones that are better and more logical, like Kyoshi was by far the most powerful bender in the entire series
Blood bending can stop benders from attacking you when u manage to gain control of their will as seen in the Southern Raiders when Katara blood bended the Raiders general as he was shooting fireballs to Zuko & Katara
I don't think Katara should be 1#. She's a natural talent and would definitely be at the top, but I think Azula and Toph are ahead. Katara defeated Azula thanks to join forces with Zuko, but a 1v1 she would have lost. And Toph not only is the best female earthbender, is the best earthbender ever. Katara is not the best Waterbender ever for example. For me at least it should be Katara#3 Azula#2 and Toph#1
something tells me Katarawas meant to be the avatar if aang died at the time she was born or that she was meant for something else equally great/important interms of being a special bender. like even beyond being the mostly self taught master she was shown to be in the show. so often it felt like she was the avatar and aang was helping her when the plot said it was the other way around technically. was dissapointed when the legend of korra basically just made her a healer and a new version of grangran from the first show. hope she did something other then have kids and become the new gran gran between the time we last saw her in avatar and the begining of the korra show. though she did end up getting to train 2 avatars, probably almost no one in history could have said that. i wonder if its possible Katara could help Korra eventually repair the bridge to her past incarnations maybe or something.

People forget that Katara becomes a master within a year, beat the prodigy Azula who has trained her whole life. Katara was the last waterbender of the Southern water tribe and self-taught for 16 years before she found a master. Even then, even before learning from Master Pakku, she went against him and even impressed him. Toph learned earthbending from the badger mole since she was a baby, yet Katara matched her level in a year. So it's not a surprised that she came out on top.

Many argue Toph should hold spot#1. She is incredibly strong and mastered her bending making her the best earthbender in the world. But we shouldn't forget how creative, powerful, versatile Katara is. She is both spiritually and physically stronger. Having lost her mother, she acted like a "mother" to others taking responsibility to take care of them. So she had to learn everything.

I think Su Yins bending is so fluid like that, because she’s a performative dancer and it reflects in her bending.

This list very good. She takes the first spot bcuz of this.
FUN FACT: Even Jinora can beat Toph cuz she won't be standing on the ground to do so. Remember Toph uses on feet to see and feel the environment...an air bender would just have to be levitated to give Toph no clue (like Aang did). 😂
I see your point but I thing Toph learned from that fight and working with Aang. She might be able to put up more of a fight versus Aang now.
Azula can fly and destroy Toph in seconds lmfao
In the comics toph was able to handle aang's airbending, also idk if an airbender can beat a metal armored toph.
I would LOVE to see Kuvira and Azula meet

No way Suyin is ranked higher than Lin. The only reason Suyin seemed to have the upper hand during her fight with Lin was because Lin was mentally ill during that moment. But Lin has had way more feats than Suyin considering the fact that Lin is the chief of police. Suyin is mostly a dancer and doesn’t have the experience Lin has.

Yes without Avatar State...
Katara being first is so sure 🎉❤
Stupid waterbending is the most powerful. Water can be solid, liquid or gas! Can be vert sharp and cut even metal! Are you using your brain?
@@Ei_Shogunikr, and people said she can only do that during a full moon, but she proved em wrong
there's a scene hama cut a rock and a scene Katara cut a metal, I can't remember what episode it is but trust me water can be so sharp
Korra and kiyoshi
I wish we saw more Kya bending scenes, she was so captivating

I appreciate respectful opinions like this 🤝🏻
Hamma is an old lady omg.
You gotta give more credit to those who created a form of bending like Hama for blood bending and tooth for metal bending.

I can understand however why she's lower given there's no way to see how good her 1v1 fighting abilities are.

something tells me Katarawas meant to be the avatar if aang died at the time she was born or that she was meant for something else equally great/important interms of being a special bender. like even beyond being the mostly self taught master she was shown to be in the show. so often it felt like she was the avatar and aang was helping her when the plot said it was the other way around technically. was dissapointed when the legend of korra basically just made her a healer and a new version of grangran from the first show. hope she did something other then have kids and become the new gran gran between the time we last saw her in avatar and the begining of the korra show.
though she did end up getting to train 2 avatars, probably almost no one in history could have said that.
