After researching the history of great assets such as real estate, dividend-paying stocks, gold, oil, and other commodities, I've come to the conclusion that most excellent assets never come down to the price you want to acquire them at. Simply get the ones you can afford right now
normalize doing your own research before blindly investing your hard earned money in a stock because your friend told you about it
This is the problem! Most times people with little or no knowledge of the financial market try investing by themselves.

My goodness, the bottom is falling out of ARKK. Who would have predicted that? Other than me, of course. If I were Cathie Wood, I would have protected my positions by diversifying after she got lucky in the Covid recovery bull market. Maybe that would have run the risk of blunting possible future gains, but she would have at least protected more against the steep losses she is seeing. But to be down 75% from her prior all-time high??? That just smashes her credibility as a fund manager to smitherines.
You do realize her timeline, dont you? This is a 5 year hold. We all knew the money printing would cause record inflation, who suffers the most during a recession? Tech. Do some research 🔬

WHILE ALL OF YOU ALWAYS GOT YOUR FINGER ON THE SELL BUTTON. I GOT MINE ON THE BUY BUTTON. I’ve watch this market for ten years or more. And it’s all the same. Goes up. Goes down. For a myriad of reasons. I do believe some of this trigger happy selling would slow down considerably if they just start charging FEE’S again. It just makes it so easy to get in and out of the market. That’s not investing. That’s trading.

Ooops wrong pick lol.. dropped a lot since Apr 28 ouch. IMO, after looking at the stocks in this fund, the fundamentals are horrific and could use some more correction.. This fund was PUMPED 4x in one year and now over the past year is being DUMPED. Plain and simple. Also many of her picks are ridiculous.. Zoom & Roku really? They aren't disruptive.. lots of competition. Also she pushes crypto which is a joke.. tulips and turds as Buffet and Munger describe, respectively. And Robinhood really? Fidelity (along with many other big brokerages) offers free trades now and so much more including the ability to designate a beneficiary for an individual account -- Robinhood doesn't offer this and requires your funds go through the estate / probate... yuck!
