I think I'm more okay with Peter being backed by a billionaire this time around BECAUSE it's Norman Osborne. Instead of him trying to prove himself and being an Avenger, Norman is going to be manipulative and trying to take advantage of him, maybe even taking some influence from the original Ultimate universe and be recruiting him to eventually turn him into a weapon he can sell, all leading up to Pete finding out the truth and having to go against Osborne and his entire company. See I’m just flatly beyond sick of teenage Spidey. Every single time. It’s always high school. My favorite Spidey was in his 30s figuring out how to live an adult life as a married man. And I never ever get that. Not even in the comics anymore.
I feel you. Heck the Amazing series comics still write 25 year old Spidey like he's 15. Have you checked out the recent Ultimate Spider-Man reboot comics? It's been scratching that itch quite well for me.
Im pretty mixed on it. I like the animation and art style so far but the story of having another Peter get his suits and help from a mentor seems pretty unappealing. If we doing early day stuff I would of loved seeing Peters early days of scrapping by what he could and making stuff on his own. Heck I also agree with the point that I would love to see another crack at an adult Spiderman! Seeing what's even like to balance superhero stuff while dealing with things like having a family, jobs, etc. But I'll give this show a shot and hopefully it's at least a decent time
I'm low-key excited for this show. However some things kinda turn me off 1) the city looks "empty". There r too less people and other objects that fill the city which feel missing 2) race bending of characters. There's never a good reason to do it but if this version of norman is good I wouldn't really mind but still what was the need
I really like the voice actors and the artstyle. Its literally just the script haha. Although we've only heard a few snippets so the majority of the show may be different
Channel pup love your channel been a fan since Covid My take is gonna start off like the MCU in the very beginning because Norman Osborne is playing the Tony Stark role But unlike Tony Stark who we know is Iron man Norman Osbourne might be the opposite and end up turning into the green goblin and even playing Spider-Man behind the scenes. I think we’re only gonna get the future foundation suit for a little bit until we get the classic red and blue.
I feel like I’m not sold yet. I guess I’m just disappointed it wasn’t hand drawn like X-men 97. I feel like that style would have worked well with the designs
That's why I'm going indie animation now. Edit: I'm not attacking the animators, voice actors and the crew. It's just that, it keeps repeating the same IPs all over again.
i dont think its bad i just dont think it looks like what alot of people dont want at this point in time i think its gonna be one of them spidey shows that gets hate at the time but in like 9 years everyone realizes its actually kinda soild
Who told you this was specifically made for younger audiences? This is definitely not a preschool show. It could either be an all-audience show, or even a pg13 show, since I heard one of the streamer criminals use the A word. Don't assume it's mainly gonna be for children because of the fact that it's animated. I'm tired of people using that stereotype on everything animated. All-audience cartoons for everyone of all ages and adult cartoons for adults exist too!
it's gonna be hopefully an alright fun spider-man show that has tons of marvel fanservice in general (like animated ultimate spider-man). It's definitely not gonna go into Spectacular Spider-Man territory at all for the spiritually accurate to traditional spider-man stories vibes)
Ok I just wanted to comment on the whole race swapping thing I’ve seen online, sometimes there really doesn’t need to be a need just if you have a badass actor like Colman Domingo who can play Norman Osborn well, have him play it! My train of thought is if they race swap have the actor playing the character really get he character down y’know? Nobody minded nick fury being black or Valkyrie, or domino in Deadpool, red from Shawshank redemption. And I hate when ppl pull the argument “well what if we make black panther white” the reason why that doesn’t work is because black panther needs to be black not just because of the color of his skin but because of the culture. Norman isn’t tied down to being black, nothing in his culture makes it so he needs to be black. Steve rogers on the other hand, his story revolves around a time where a black man would not be used to represent American propaganda, so of course he was the all American hero. Yes do I hate how Disney does it most definitely but when it’s done right it can be great! All to say I’m excited for this version of Norman!😁😁
@@ChannelPup you’d be surprised on how many ppl bring up that black panther argument🙄. But yea I have hope for the that casting and the show as a whole!
Why are so many CBM content creators just making negative reviews/takes Its always "Why X is bad" "X was ruined by X" "Is X good?" What happened to being hopeful? Or supporting interesting and brand new takes on decade old characters? Genuinely just so unfortunate.
Nah. Considering that Spiderman was introduced 6 months into his superhero career, it's free to fill in that gap however it wants. And I believe showrunners said this is like an AU Spiderman story. Or something, but i can't quite remember.
I think the problem with this show is it reeks of corporate meddling. It was initially sold to us as the prequel series to the MCU Spider-Man. Then Sony got pissy with Disney and it got changed. So now they retooled it to a generational pandering tv show. It’s like a modern Rocket Power but geeky and none of the charm. Disney seems to have leaned too heavily into trends with this series that it’ll feel dated when it airs and kids and teens that watch it are more likely to make fun of it. Disney should have brought out their lawyers to keep the original concept or scrapped this for either Spider-Man ‘98 or a series based on Miles or Gwen or a whole different Spider themed character to tell a unique story.
You bring up some good points. I haven't exactly been excited for it now that the trailer is out and I would have preferred the 2D style, but it ultimately comes down to the portrayal of Peter. We're stuck with another teenaged Peter Parker, and the excuses for him to be such just feel ham fisted. I would love a show of Peter mentoring Miles while going through life stuff on his own, maybe after a season an a half of Peter doing normal Spidey-stuff and working things out with MJ. But that's not we're getting. It's just a tired rehash of quirky Peter that no one wants when that has run it's course. And it also upsets me that this show seems to strip away Peter's iconic cast just to shove some D-List heroes in. It's just more of the same post Spectacular Spider-Man, and I'm tired of Spider-Man shows that just shove all these characters in for no reason. Maybe this Peter will grow out of his quirkyness, maybe he'll have to deal with anger issues and the media painting him as a villain/menace eventually, but I'm not holding my breath.
I think it’s valid to be over seeing Peter Parker act this way and a lot of current day depictions. In my opinion, we should be getting a more season Peter Parker nowadays seeing as the teenager side is the whole point of miles now. There’s no need to keep trying to have Peter cover those bases over and over again
You quoted exactly what I've been thinking about this show Channel Pup Thank You!!! I don't want to see a wannabe-cool cringy dorky peter parker warped with the bow of a stereotypical remix rap song that studios think is cool. The only thing I like is the art style. And trust me, it's not just you, you are not getting old. I'm not even 21 yet and I want the days of the Aerosmith guitarist intro with a anxty, trying to find his way type of peter parker. Well... I am trying to develop a spider-man fan-series for that same reason, so..... Maybe we'll see just that.
I feel like this YFN Spidey is Marvel's attempt to somewhat course correct the MCU Spidey, especially by having him befriend Norman Osborn and getting his teched-out Oscorp suit I just hope that the story would be as compelling as that of Spectacular or 90's Spidey, or maybe more than that And if YFN is going to tackle the MCU adjacent ideas, I wish MCU Spider-Man 4 would tackle Peter's adult life post-NWH, being an independent hero and all with his NWH endgame suit and maybe make some more new Spider-Suits along the way And who knows, maybe someday we'll get a Spider-Verse event thay brings all of the cartoonverse Spideys together 😁 Oh, and I'm also hoping for a new Takuya Yamashiro series, whether it'd be anime or tokusatsu, with Shinji Todo returning as the titular MC once more. And since it's also a tokusatsu, here's hoping that Toei Spidey would receive new forms, weapons, vehicles, and a new Leopardon that combines like your usual Super Sentai Mecha I mean come on, Toei and Bandai are still going pretty much strong with their Tokusatsu hero toy releases to this day 😆
2:01 The King Thanos Avengers Campus Disney ride confirmed that This spider man is part of the MCU multiverse. 3:02 Do you think the Slingers will appear in the show? I don’t see Ricochet. 4:03 It fine by me as well. We had good CGI Marvel cartoons like Iron Man Armored Adventures. I haven’t seen it but people do praise the Neil Patrick Harrison’s spider man. 4:16 It cannot be worst than Spider Man 2017 cartoon. 6:21 I do hope this Peter is like that to hide the fact he has superpowers. Hopefully we see him getting angry and annoyed being bullied. How can you write bullying and social outcasts these days without making pointless controversy on Twitter/X? 6:26 I do like when developers use the obscure Spider Man villains, like Speed Demon, Maria Vasquez I did look it up the fire villain, Butane, in the comics he is originally a villain in Excalibur. Unicorn is an Iron Man villain. I wonder how will Norman Betrays Peter Parker? Come on this Norman Obsorn we are taking about you think he be a good guy? No he Iconic for being a Villain. I do have an idea what if, when Peter finds out Norman Osborn is evil, he leaves and Norman use the skills from Peter from secretly observing him, Norman created The Slingers. 10:43 Thank God I am not the only one thinking about this. If you want a Miles Morales series should in be in earth 1610 or 616? Because you know His Earth 616 counterpart 11:51 *Give Me an Anime Version of Spider Man Fake Red* 12:45 Does anyone remember that Background of New York City in Spider man 2017. While I will still watch this show, I just don’t feel it man. Like I want to feel excited…..I really do. But it’s hard as I don’t vibe with what I have seen. Still, fingers crossed it will bring great 🤞
I been thinking about it, but I think it's right for want the new adaptation to 1. Do new things with it 2.adapt the core of the characther, when making a new show they should be able to put the characther in new cenarios but also show what makes that characther especial no matter the place, but if you simply go with what's the nost recent take on the characther and instead of adapating the characther you stick to him what's the newest arctype of "teen" your not really adapting as much as putting s different characther there, spetacular adapted to a new audience aimed at teens at the type, and teens from today can still see themselfs as peter from there, I sure did when watching in 2021, I think it's just them going into what's "safer" adapting an adaptation instead of the core
Sorry if it's too long but this is something I been thinking about many characthers that been adapted recently... The core of thesse characthers are really important and so mant times it's ignored
For me I was hyped for the show when it was first announced but this trailer some how through me off and the animation isnt really working for me like it's not terrible but I think for that style it could no SHOULD have been 2D or went x men 97 route but at least it's not what if
as a teenager I can tell you that this isn't for us. it's trying to be but Disney has no idea how to make something actually relatable to teen. I think this show was made for the kids and that's fine but I wish it was more like spectacular
Personally I’m just happy we get something to eat in terms of new Spidey show, it’s been quite a long time since the last that was meh so it could be only greater than the 2017 show ?
It seems like an interesting idea but my hopes aren't super high with how What If season 3 turned out. I'm more concerned about the writing over anything else.
What IF and this show are not made with the same creatives. This person is one of the writers for Craig of the Creek. A well liked kids show on Cartoon Network with story and character development
@@shinyocelot04archiveIt is good especially when they explore fear, bonding, tramua, etc to the kids and teens of the show. He's also a fan of Spider-Man. Superhero media, video game references, and anime influences, are sprinkled throughout the show as well
I'm confused by the issue? Your description of what you want is something so basic that it exists in every show prior, this is based around MCU peter, and you're complaining that it's using the trademarks of that Peter?? Why would you go in expecting them not to do that? I'm IN my 30s and this looks like exactly what they promised in 2021, and I don't have a problem with that. Sure I''d like to see adult peter or dad peter or teacher peter, but I'm not going to be looking for that in the show that's blatantly NOT about that.
Well, considering that I haven't heard about it with me being a marvel "fan"(more like a follower bc I don't actually like the studio nowdays) it can't be doing great.
Before I actually got anywhere in the video I just went to go watch the trailer, and it doesn't look like it's the worst show ever... But also, WILL YOU PLEASE JUST USE 2D ANIMATION, DISNEY!?
Kinda bored with new Spider-Man stuff besides Spider-Verse... Now if Tobey or Andrew got a new dedicated film that would be so cool! Or maybe a Spider-Girl film in the Raimi Spider-Man universe!
i think were just all fuckin old man lol. these Legacy IP have to constantly get kids interested in their characters, how many kids wanna watch 35 year old divorced fat dad Peter Parker??? of course the new Spiderman is a 16 year old Twitch streamer, thats literally all 16 year old kids wanna do these days.
While i don't seem to mind Harry and Norman's skin color and race swap, What i do mind is that I want the peter to be the small tech and suit making his own kind of guy, not the rich guy give Peter everything he has to use like how MCU tony did with Peter, we alr had that.
I think everyone is forgetting one important factor, this was supposed to be an origin/prequel story for Tom's Spider-Man that took place before Civil War But as more stuff started to get added on to this show, the more it didn't make sense to the canon. They was never going to scrap it and make him adult after years of development and animated it cuz they still wanted to tell a different Spider-Man story. And now this show is going to parallel to MCU'S Spider-Man and his journey. I get and understand that this should have been no tech and so forth, but for what they're doing in the show i think will be fine
@@ShermanYeoOut the gate, this Peter gets his powers from a Spider that came out a Dr Strange Portal via a Dr Strange vs Symbiote fight So it's pretty different in nature😅
... I just had a terrible idea for how to sell you on Social Media Spider-Man... J. Jonah Jameson is based on you! ... Think about it, treating Pete with harassment that is like how you treat Dylan on your Sunset City but without the part where you're joking. You didn't ask Dylete for a presentation on their school ski-trip; you asked for footage of Spider-Man!
It's not dead. I'm sorry but the show isn't out yet to be saying that just cuz u don't wanna watch it Cuz by that logic, Agatha All Along was already "DOA" and then say "Who asked for this" because I didn't want to watch it. Then surprise, it's doing almost on par with The Penguin in terms of numbers
One thing that I realized that I don't really like from what I've seen in the trailer is that Peter doesn't feel all that confidented as a character. I know this seems like an adaptation issue, but I like when Peter stands his ground when not in the costume. For an example when Flash picks on Peter after he gets his powers, I enjoy seeing how Peter isn't willing to be his punching bag anymore. Obviously Peter isn't going to do anything to Flash because it would give away his powers but just Peter standing his ground against anyone feel more awarding since it's like the nerd finally grew a backbone. But the Peter in the "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" shows feel like a total push over. But hey maybe I'll be wrong and he won't be a push over but for now I'm not really that interested.
These recent spider-man shows are made more for avi arad, and shareholders who want toyetic garbage. Can't say I will be watching this, this already sounds mediocre.
you know what would be great is if we got a show staring mile morales spider-man we peter as sort of a retired mentor like batman beyond and we could have him fight all the sort legacies of the main guys from spideys rogues gallery with them all sort dying in an a epic final battle, so now instead of fighting doc ock we're fighting lady ock
In my personal opinion, I feel like Peter's origin into becoming Spiderman has peaked with the previous iterations. And the animation, while having a pretty interesting art direction, kinda looked a bit......cheap? Cheap isn't really the word I would like to use, maybe lazy? I will give it a small shot once its pirated though.
I am saving my opinion for when the show comes out. Race swapped nornan is weird I'll say that but until the show is out there's no way to form an opinion. If you don't experience something then you don't have an opinion.
I’m willing to give it a chance. I don’t expect it to top the 90s or Spectacular but if it can at least crack the top 3 I’d consider it a victory. I’m actually rewatching the 2003 CGI series. I find it weird in a cool way that despite Spectacular being cited as an influence it shares more in common with the 2003 series on paper. Non canon to the live action films at the time and 3D animated
Ahahahahahhahahahahaha. Are you kidding me? Are you dense? Are you retarded or something? Or are you a psychic, speaking Stan's thoughts about a show he never watched from Beyond The Grave. In Stan Lee's life there were so many terrible Spider-Man adaptations, that if this is bad, it's just another drop in a very large very full bucket. He didn't cry out in anguish for the dogshit storyline of Unlimited (that animation is god-tier though), which is still the absolute worst writing in a Spidey show. And not a peep about Ultimate which had the quality of a god damn yoyo. Not to mention the thousands of other bad Spider-man material and adaptations that Stan never cared about except for that sweet paycheck and royalties. Stan Lee loved to tell a good yarn. But he loved being a promoter and money way more. You could pay him to say the show was amazing, and he would do it with gusto and glee, even if it was an absolute dumpsterfire that ran a train on your mum. And this show is already bought and paid for. Besides, Stan Lee, in his life was also a bit of a champion of different versions of his (and Steve Ditko's) characters as seen by his joy in seeing what Toei did with Spider-Man (which was awesome). If we kept puritans like yourself around, we wouldn't have half of the crazy different Spider-Man adaptations that turned out to be great. So Stan would have not cared, would have called it great no matter the quality, or would have been paid to praise it with that old Stan charm. Disappointed is so far down on that list, it's on the next page, hiding in the margins, running train on yer mum.
Hard disagree. With projects like Across the Spider-Verse and the Insomniac games, the Spidey franchise is still putting out some of the highest quality superhero media you can find.
@@ChannelPup oh yeah don’t get me wrong I love the animated spider verse stuff as everybody. I was disappointed in spider-man 2 in terms of its messy and same old feeling story, it was extremely predictable except for miles & Mr negative being the most compelling side plot. It’s just those are the unique exceptions and not the norm, and the norm for Peter Parker is like this cartoon now. That’s why I’ve gravitated towards characters like daredevil, cyclops and others that appeal to me more and spider-man sadly doesn’t do that anymore. At least for me.
The character made to sell shirts and toys to children has no dignity? Ahahahaha. You're about 50 years too late on that prediction nostradmaus. Just wait till you actually start reading Cyclops or Daredevil comics and see how many re-starts, retcons, rebirths, and reinterpretations they've all had. Frank Miller can write a serious dark Daredevil and make the blueprint for all other writers., Bendis turns it into a crime drama. Mark Wade can make him a happy swashbuckler again like he was was Stan Lee was "writing" the book. Charles Soule can OMD his outed public identity and focus on the lawyer stuff. Zdarsky makes him super spiritual. Andy Diggle can get his story usurped by marvel editorial to make an interesting premise into a basic event comic, and so on and so on. And don't even get me started on Cyclops. Which Summers family long lost brother will be revealed to have survived his families plane crash? And will they be a clone of a clone of a clone made by a clone of Mr. Sinister? Or would they have been hanging with the crew of his space pirate dad, but got stranded out in deep space, lost after the 15th Shi'ar Kree war, with amnesia? You want to talk about no dignity? Cyclops is your boi.

I think I'm more okay with Peter being backed by a billionaire this time around BECAUSE it's Norman Osborne. I think they're trying to hide the scenes with the villains so we won't know any of the villain scenes until they're released.
Yeah maybe it's for the best that they're keeping lots of surprises.
However some things kinda turn me off
1) the city looks "empty". There r too less people and other objects that fill the city which feel missing
2) race bending of characters. There's never a good reason to do it but if this version of norman is good I wouldn't really mind but still what was the need
Great video 🙏 Anyways, go watch Daredevil!
I really like the voice actors and the artstyle. Its literally just the script haha. Although we've only heard a few snippets so the majority of the show may be different
As someone in high school, even I think this version of spidey isn't relatable. This feels like what adults thought teenagers were like in 2018.
I would really love to see Superior Spider Man get some form of adaptation.
Channel pup love your channel been a fan since Covid
My take is gonna start off like the MCU in the very beginning because Norman Osborne is playing the Tony Stark role
But unlike Tony Stark who we know is Iron man Norman Osbourne might be the opposite and end up turning into the green goblin and even playing Spider-Man behind the scenes. I think we’re only gonna get the future foundation suit for a little bit until we get the classic red and blue.
Hey Pup, can you talk about Slightly Insulting’s Minecraft Spider-Man series? It’s incredibly underrated she deserves more attention!
I feel like I’m not sold yet. I guess I’m just disappointed it wasn’t hand drawn like X-men 97. I feel like that style would have worked well with the designs
Damn pup, that intro be popping and bopping🎉😅
Yeah this was a great casting choice for Norman! And the Black Panther thing is ridiculous.
@@ChannelPup you’d be surprised on how many ppl bring up that black panther argument🙄. But yea I have hope for the that casting and the show as a whole!
Your saying white people apparently have no culture, and no reason for existing. thank you /sar
I remember some people having similar complaints before the release of X-men 97
Why are so many CBM content creators just making negative reviews/takes
Its always "Why X is bad" "X was ruined by X" "Is X good?" What happened to being hopeful? Or supporting interesting and brand new takes on decade old characters? Genuinely just so unfortunate.
They’re older now, they’ve reached the point where their ideal version of their favorite hero is fading away in favor a different one
@@mattkugelman4369 The need to make content that is basically just glorified complaining is just painful.
@@jordanjustjordan7979 well they feel they need to do so because then their grievances won’t feel important
Spectacular stans are like Gatsby looking across the bay at the green light. Anything that isn't spectacular will forever be dead on arrival.
Nah. Considering that Spiderman was introduced 6 months into his superhero career, it's free to fill in that gap however it wants.
And I believe showrunners said this is like an AU Spiderman story.
Or something, but i can't quite remember.
Love the model update!!
Ngl I wish a Spiderman show where he starts out young lasted long enough to see him grow into an adult.
Closet we got is 90s Animated show
I think the problem with this show is it reeks of corporate meddling.
I find it funny that the trailer shows the criminals live streaming and not one of them is Screwball when it was right there.
For once, the Spider-Man 2017 cartoon did something right.
you can actually see her comment
Maybe this Peter will grow out of his quirkyness, maybe he'll have to deal with anger issues and the media painting him as a villain/menace eventually, but I'm not holding my breath.
well wait and see
I don’t think it’s that bad and plus I’m 30 and I still watch cartoons
And plus I love the comic booky fell to it
Adding cel shading to a 3D model doesn't make it comic booky. It really doesn't look comic booky imo.
@andraw4002Well imo, the style itself is a comic book
bro didnt even gave it a chance, its not even out yet and already saying that its dead...
bruh
Find me where in the video I said it's dead.
@@ChannelPup0:01
Only true spidey fans know what you meant by this intro. IM NOT CRAZY IM NKT CRAZY
@@ChannelPupwhy is spiderman still one of the greatest fictional character and comic character
I like the changes to the model's animation 👍
I think it’s valid to be over seeing Peter Parker act this way and a lot of current day depictions. In my opinion, we should be getting a more season Peter Parker nowadays seeing as the teenager side is the whole point of miles now. There’s no need to keep trying to have Peter cover those bases over and over again
Honestly, i think the show looks decent
I get your points and they're vaild, but I think that for what this show is aiming to do, will be decent
as a teen I'll love the show as long as the writting is good
I feel like this YFN Spidey is Marvel's attempt to somewhat course correct the MCU Spidey, especially by having him befriend Norman Osborn and getting his teched-out Oscorp suit
I just hope that the story would be as compelling as that of Spectacular or 90's Spidey, or maybe more than that
And if YFN is going to tackle the MCU adjacent ideas, I wish MCU Spider-Man 4 would tackle Peter's adult life post-NWH, being an independent hero and all with his NWH endgame suit and maybe make some more new Spider-Suits along the way
And who knows, maybe someday we'll get a Spider-Verse event thay brings all of the cartoonverse Spideys together 😁
Oh, and I'm also hoping for a new Takuya Yamashiro series, whether it'd be anime or tokusatsu, with Shinji Todo returning as the titular MC once more. And since it's also a tokusatsu, here's hoping that Toei Spidey would receive new forms, weapons, vehicles, and a new Leopardon that combines like your usual Super Sentai Mecha
I mean come on, Toei and Bandai are still going pretty much strong with their Tokusatsu hero toy releases to this day 😆
Weird reason to not make it canon. Like ket him just fight his d and c list villans. He is just starting out anyway
6:26 I do like when developers use the obscure Spider Man villains, like Speed Demon,
Maria Vasquez
I did look it up the fire villain, Butane, in the comics he is originally a villain in Excalibur.
Because you know His Earth 616 counterpart
11:51 *Give Me an Anime Version of Spider Man Fake Red*
12:45 Does anyone remember that Background of New York City in Spider man 2017. It literally looks like poor screen.
There was lack of civilian at night of TMNT 2012 unless the plot wants them to be.
13:31 Clearly they just nickpicking everything either wanting attention or they think they’re smart.
@@Jorno_artsThey are doing new things and still adapting the core of Spider-Man
For me I was hyped for the show when it was first announced but this trailer some how through me off and the animation isnt really working for me like it's not terrible but I think for that style it could no SHOULD have been 2D or went x men 97 route but at least it's not what if
The Amazing Spider-Man 97 was the best
9:13 while I completely agree, I too am approaching 30 😅
as a teenager I can tell you that this isn't for us. it's trying to be but Disney has no idea how to make something actually relatable to teen. I think this show was made for the kids and that's fine but I wish it was more like spectacular
I like this show style but I wish it gets canceled so now more hate:(
That might be the worst logic I've ever seen.
you need to stop
Personally I’m just happy we get something to eat in terms of new Spidey show, it’s been quite a long time since the last that was meh so it could be only greater than the 2017 show ?
Been a minute since i watched, love the new animated structure
Thanks!
I really want to be excited for this, but I’m just not
It seems like an interesting idea but my hopes aren't super high with how What If season 3 turned out. I'm more concerned about the writing over anything else.
What IF and this show are not made with the same creatives.
This person is one of the writers for Craig of the Creek. A well liked kids show on Cartoon Network with story and character development
@terrellthaddies7867 Oh that gives me some more hope. Craig of the Creek has been pretty good from what I've heard
@@shinyocelot04archiveIt is good especially when they explore fear, bonding, tramua, etc to the kids and teens of the show.
He's also a fan of Spider-Man. Superhero media, video game references, and anime influences, are sprinkled throughout the show as well
look, respectfully, that show looks like a ps3 game with motion capture animation, but the fight coreography is on point
So far there's been very very little marketing and it releases in like, 11 days.
@ChannelPup dragon ball daima reference
It will do fine at the end of the day
Yes
Before I actually got anywhere in the video I just went to go watch the trailer, and it doesn't look like it's the worst show ever...
But also, WILL YOU PLEASE JUST USE 2D ANIMATION, DISNEY!?
Kraven review pls
Aw do I have to? 😭
Fine I'll go see it.
I'm tired of modern Marvel trying to justify the classic costume.
Kinda bored with new Spider-Man stuff besides Spider-Verse... Now if Tobey or Andrew got a new dedicated film that would be so cool! Or maybe a Spider-Girl film in the Raimi Spider-Man universe!
Maybe tie in into the social politics of mutants with May-Day Parker becoming and advocate for mutants in her school when she gets her powers!
I think the show looks good but some of the character designs are really really bad cough cough harry osborn cough cough
i think were just all fuckin old man lol. these Legacy IP have to constantly get kids interested in their characters, how many kids wanna watch 35 year old divorced fat dad Peter Parker??? of course the new Spiderman is a 16 year old Twitch streamer, thats literally all 16 year old kids wanna do these days.
While i don't seem to mind Harry and Norman's skin color and race swap, What i do mind is that I want the peter to be the small tech and suit making his own kind of guy, not the rich guy give Peter everything he has to use like how MCU tony did with Peter, we alr had that.
I think everyone is forgetting one important factor, this was supposed to be an origin/prequel story for Tom's Spider-Man that took place before Civil War
But as more stuff started to get added on to this show, the more it didn't make sense to the canon.
@terrellthaddies7867 well, if it is a different parallel take of Peter before the MCU, then I am fine. Just not well enough to accept it.
@@ShermanYeoOut the gate, this Peter gets his powers from a Spider that came out a Dr Strange Portal via a Dr Strange vs Symbiote fight
So it's pretty different in nature😅
I like the animation style, but the animation looks unfinished
It's just how it's animated. It will take time to get used to
Honestly, politics might kill the show before the story gets out.
Politics are not involved. Said creative just wants to tell a good story
actor Colman Domingo who plays Norman Osborn is black so thats why race change
Yeah but Miles is a rip-off and falls into the same boat as this he gets help,no consequences e.t.c
Oh lord , I hope its not gonna be a repeat of the 2017 show. Absolute garbage. I could handle the rough animation but the writing was just trash
90s and Spectacular were good
This is more trash
Yes the show is dead on arrival more like dead before arrival
It’s already dead
I won’t watch it 🤷♀️
And I LOOOOOOVE Ultimate Spider-Man
It's not dead. I'm sorry but the show isn't out yet to be saying that just cuz u don't wanna watch it
Cuz by that logic, Agatha All Along was already "DOA" and then say "Who asked for this" because I didn't want to watch it. Then surprise, it's doing almost on par with The Penguin in terms of numbers
wait bro chill let the show come out bro don't be a snob and wait
I loved the concept art but the actual show just looks ugly.
Never seen this many people this uninterested in a Spider-Man thing not even when the 2017 show started
I realy think the peak was 2017 spider man it ooo the best of past and future and made it a fun new take with out drastically Ching Spider-Man’s lore
I just think the animation looks bad and ugly.
The animation does look good due to its comic book look. But, the only concern I have is how well the story & plot is written.
Same here! Love the animation. But this story doesn't sound interesting to me.
Your voice ruins the video.
Stan Lee would be disappointed
The show is not even out yet
@ who cares no one’s watching if it looks like shit
Why would he be disappointed? Please elaborate.
@@daredenny bc it looks like shit
It gonna be slop
It won't
wait
Your voice is SO annoying and ruins the video.
Spider-Man has no dignity left. There’s no hope for this character.
(New ultimate universe comic is good tho)
