Huge congratulations to Casper Ruud for conquering Novak Djokovic first time in an official clash. It was really a remarkable performance which was explicitly delivered by Norwegian tennis player. Your first win over the World No. 1 and your first Clay Masters final is a great achievement for you! You are one step away from the big title! We wish you the best of luck!
I might be wrong, but I’ve got a feeling Novak has lost a little bit of desire and motivation.. only a little bit but something isn’t the same. He’s still amazing and one of the best but he’s 37 very soon and he’s won so much in his illustrious career.. part of me thinks he’s finding it harder to be motivated and stay focused and ruthless.. the GOAT is slowing down. Apart from that his racket speed is slower and backhand isn’t as lethal as 2011-15. Father Time marches on. I hope he wins something this year. Clay is a younger man’s game. He can use his experience on grass I believe.
It's too bad Djokovic is starting to wear out right around when Alcaraz and Sinner are accelerating upward. Would have been fun to have a few years of the three of them batting each other around. I think last year was the last great year for Djokovic. His ball striking and movement were simply unparalleled in his career last year. You can still see flashes of it now, but there is an inconsistency now that is not characteristic of him. I think the fact that he knows he's not as steady as he once was is starting to undermine his confidence. That all said, Djokovic has really grown into being a champion. I've never been much of a Djokovic fan, but over the last 2 years or so I've developed a newfound respect for him.
So one should change coaches when it's going super well? Or that one should never change coaches? They say that "don't change a winning game but *do* change a loosing one".

@Slickk_007 you are 100% right- I wish him the best but is harder and harder to get the trophy. Everyone who beats him is like to become a celebrity - I don’t like it. I hope he will charge his battery and win RG or Wimbledon and finish the season as a #1
After the last interview, I know he was disappointed and for sure wanted to show soon who is the master.
i am a die hard fan of novak but believe me he will loose in semi final or quarter final at French open. the way he is breathing and getting tired like a 80 years old. age is NOT just a number.
Naaah. He was the same in 23 around april. You do not follow tennis, I don't know ehy you even comment with such confidence!
@@ZlatniPlast i accept in 22-23 he was breathing problem but than he changed his diet & lifestyle. But now even after that high quality diet & lifestyle he is not able to overcome that.
I came here to read excuses and the usual explanations like this was not important, he only cares about slams and olympics. Congrats to Ruud, well done.
if djokovic were to win this tournament, he’d be able to say he has every masters (and big title) thrice. tons of people were hyping it up. anyone saying this “actually doesn’t matter” because he lost is on some major copium
@@rhocloudsMajor copium is trailing in every important achievement and claiming grace points, not over someone loosing a masters tournament that he has done it 40 times.
Never fails!
What a number 1 is Nole, Smashing the net as usually
Great performance by Casper!
Yes, this Novak may not be in the best shape, but Casper's performance was definitely worthy of being a finalist!
Your first win over the World No. 1 and your first Clay Masters final is a great achievement for you!
You are one step away from the big title!
We wish you the best of luck!
two gents!👏🏽👏🏽✨✨
I BELIEVED IN YOU RUUD
will u believe again tomorrow? or did u do it just to derail novak?
@@h4rder10 pfft.
I’ve been believing in him for years
Bravo, Ruud! Fantastic play. He was able to keep his shots very deep and gave Novak few chances to capitalize on shorter shots.
Novak is 16 and 14 years older than these guys, respectively. What you do expect - he's not their rival! 😀 Time comes for everyone.
Why is the camera so far away? Players look incredibly small and the ball is barely visible
Biggest win of his career?? he's won two RG Semifinals!
A US Open semi final as well.
Biggest scalp ;)
Ruud is such a nice guy. He respects to Novak by not celebrating too much.
The best finals would be Sinner vs Djoker.😢
Nole, the (Nikola) Tesla of Tennis, will undoubtedly bounce back and win one of the clay court Masters 1000 tourneys, even at nearly 37.
Some Greatest player of all time. Someone please teach him how to hit an overhead.
Nole doesn’t need to be grinding it out on clay at this point in his career. All those 25 year old players just waiting to wear him out!
Ruud has been playing great all week and good to see him finally win a match against Djokovic after losing the first 5 matches.
This was a Ruud awakening and that's no Djok.
Ruud seems very Well educated, respectful with refs and opponents.
norwegian!
Never change coach when things are not going well. That’s when they are the most important
So one should change coaches when it's going super well? Or that one should never change coaches? They say that "don't change a winning game but *do* change a loosing one".
Casper Ruud: Nobody defeats Casper Ruud 12 straight times ! Allez Casper!
why spoil in the title ???
Because we can
They know an upset would enhance the viewership. They don't care about the tennis or the viewers.
@@scottross8578nope that’s not the point. They have no obligation to not spoil you in the title, this is there exclusive content which they are providing for free here. They have the sole right to do what they want and fair play if it will generate higher figures. If you want to have spoiler free content, then get a tennistv subscription, that’s just how things are (or get whatever subscription streaming service with tennis where you live). That’s why they title videos the way they do
About fn Time! 💪🏽🎾
Why did he look apologetic for beating him lol.
He's a gentleman.
the thing about girls is they cant hide their feeling for somebody ...
Cos he is not idiot like Shelton
@@ja-kl8rg So Shelton is supposed to be apologetic? Or anyone else? Goh!
thanks for spoiling the result
Stuns is a big word. After all, Novak is going thru the crisis while Ruud is a clay specialist. So is Tsitsipas. It will be an interesting final to watch.
Casper Rudd literally mirrors Nadal’s shots. No surprise that he trained from Rafa academy.
Terrible video editing!!! You completely skipped over the final climactic 2 games. 4-4 to 6-4???
then try watching the whole game set and match..!!!
I have only one thing to say: Way to go Casper🎉🎉🎉😊
At such a height, the little yellow ball can't be seen.
Right
@@rashedamin9631 Or the ball should be black, I don't know. But come on, admit these highlights are painful to watch in such bad filming conditions.
I was watching the match on TennisChannel but couldn't see the ball for the 1st two sets of the match since it was so bright on the court. It was only when the shadows came in during the 3rd set that I could finally see the ball. They need to find a solution to the glare issues.
@@shivasuresh5957 Oh gosh, poor you! Didn't you catch headache during the first two sets? I can't believe the local broadcaster is so amateurish.
so pleased for Casper, go on and win it. You got this.
Hope this gentleman wins the trophy 🏆
Good match Ruud from Novak fan .
What a Duud.
From 4-4 to second serve of match point ?
Go Casper! The match of the day! Good luck frying Stef tomorrow!
Casper Ruud ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ruud is favorite for the title tomorrow. The clay is his garden. He takes over the role of Nadal. Lift, security, velocity, combativeness and endurance, he is the clay player par excellence with this touch of modernity and tactical sense which will make him the big favorite of the season on clay until Roland this year. Sinner and Alcaraz left a lot of energy in the United States. Ruud is fresher and prepared for the red earth.
