Take a quick tour with me to the public auto auction located at a Tow company in Jacksonville, Florida .
This auction had 90+ cars/trucks with plenty of cheap cars, quick flips, junk, money pits and a few hidden gems. This was the best public auto auction I've been to so far! The highlight of the day was the 1993 Honda Prelude and the 1995 Dodge Dakota. PLUS I BID ON A CAR FOR THE FIRST TIME!

IS THE PRELUDE WORTH $2,000?
Barely. Is it a Japanese market car? or a USA market car with a rhd conversion and 17 digit vin? If it were a civic or integra it would have been worth 2k all day but preludes not so much. The interior was rough. Also was it vtec or non vtec?
@@inspectadrift8478 I didn’t check the vin. Sounds like a lot of work for a cheap rhd. I’ll look into it.
I've owned 5 honda preludes that ones nice had to of been imported from Japan we didn't get the rear wiper on the back in the states nice car tho now thier hard to find

I know! That truck was so clean. After fees it would have been over what I wanted to pay.

Dam looks like anything of value went through the roof .And ace pick apart picked up all the scraps .This is why i dont do auctions , .Public Auctions are the worse people buy to keep . Video was Great .You were wise stopping on the dodge those instrument clusters are known for stopping .
Appreciate it. The next auction is at a different location I’ve never been to so hopefully I come across better deals. Also working on a dealer’s license to show everyone that perspective of auctions in Florida. Thanks for watching🙏🏽

Did the Prelude run? No sale - guess auctioneer had a dollar figure in mind or there was a reserve from the owner.
Prelude started up and ran ROUGH. They wanted $2k. Plus fees.
@@LOSTAUTO Sadly thats most likely the H23/H22 weak piston rings that are gone. A JDM H22 runs around $2k these days.

Old, dogged out cars
Confirmed stupid loss bid of 1325 at 9:15 then the thing sells for only $50 more , you obviously don't have that amount of cash including all the stupidly greedy auction grunt fee's. And had to abandon the amateur confirmed useless bid. Such a waste of time even spewing out two cheap 25 dollar increments bid & still loss the thing.
I’m glad I stopped bidding. Talked to the guy who bought the truck and the motor was blown.
