I flew kuwait airways in nov 2018 from delhi to Milan and return, i was so impressed by the service of this airline and thought why there is no fuss about this airline. On return from milan the flight got canceled due to flooding in kuwait and within one hour at the airport the airline booked me with turkish airways. So I think this airline deserve its much needed appreciation ❤️

As a Kuwaiti, there was a time in the between 2005 to about 2014, where my family and I no longer flew on Kuwait Airways, as the planes were very outdated and the service was not as good as it should have been. However, since about 2014, they have really started to work so hard on their product, and now I absolutely love Kuwait Airways and will always be my number 1 choice, because it is such an excellent airlines today
My partner is cabin crew with Kuwait Airways and I know she'll be proud to hear you enjoyed the service as they work very hard! Since being in the Middle-east my first choice has always been Kuwait Airways, as far as economy offerings go, they really stand out even when compared to better known airlines in the region, and indeed across the world. Its such a shame that some people are put off by the "dry airline" tag, as they are missing a great quality experience for that sake of a couple of drinks.
As a Kuwaiti this video has made me so happy! The Airline has really worked hard on improving themselves and its so nice to see it be noticed and appreciated.

My father was a pilot for Kuwait air during the 80s, where pilots were literally rock stars. I used to fly with him. There were ups and downs for KA but still proud and happy for where it is now
this brought back so many great memories of my dad, he worked for Kuwait airways since the 1980s as part of the engineering staff. Glad to know they are still maintaining the high standards of the airline
I flew on Kuwait Airways in 1999 from ORD to AMS on their A340 in economy class. It was my first time flying them and at the time, it one of the best flights I'd been on. Great to see their business class product in 2022 and a peek at economy too. Thank you Josh and, Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag 😉🥳
In 2018 I flew Kuwait Airways from London - Colombo and back via Kuwait City. On the overnight outward journey to Kuwait, I was upgraded to Premier Economy at check-in without asking and it was wonderful! The food was great, I always ask for the spiciest food from the menu and I remember thinking, at the time, that it was better than that of Emirates, which I also enjoyed. I had a good 3-4hr sleep as the seats reclined to almost flat and I was well rested on reaching Kuwait. On the return journey, I paid for the same upgrade and it was 70$ well spent! I heartily recommend flying with Kuwait Airlines.
I agree with you. A dry airline isn't the deal breaker for me either. Definitely the price, service and meals served on board. There's nothing better than a clean and functional cabin interior.

You are lucky to try the new A330-800neo, and you should be very thankful that you were not on board the old shitty A330-200. I am sure you will hate it!! I think they retrofitted them, but I remember as a kid how shitty their a330s and a310s were, hell it was literally shitty from the smells of shit in the bathroom
My attitude regarding a dry airline is much the same as yours; it’s not important to me. The hard product, service/food and safety are what matter most. Having enough space is paramount to me as well. Along with a reasonable price for what you get. Nice review and happy birthday!

I’ve flown IcelandAir in and out of Frankfurt. I found the security, airport and airline staff/crews to be beyond marvelous and friendly. Especially for myself with a mobility disability.
I have been traveling Kuwait Airways for the last 10 years and every time the experience has been wow!! My long distance travels earned me miles which the oasis club simply converted into a free ticket when I requested. This last July I took the direct flight to JFK and return… it was the best 13 hrs direct flight.
I travelled once to Kuwait and flew with Kuwait Airways. I loved the airline and also enjoyed every single minute of that trip. They are lovely people and they have beautiful country and their airline is currently one of the bests. 👍

It's nice to have a drink on board, but it certainly isn't a deal breaker. From my own experience, airlines such as Kuwait & Saudia make up for it with their in-flight service, especially on their European routes.

For me the "Dry Airline" would be a deal breaker as you get some very special wines and champagnes to try so that is a big plus! One thing that would really interest me are prices, Economy and Business Class just to see what you are getting for your money !!! So could you do a "Loo Review" and name the cost of the flight please ???

Great video Josh, as always! As I was watching your food, I was thinking since when it was possible to reheat fried food in an airplane and make it delicious? Do newer generation Airbus planes have some additions to the galley that make it possible or were my eyes deceiving me and the food isn´t fried? And yes, you were right. You could actually see how delicious this food is. I wanted it so bad. Also 400 Euros for an Upgrade sounds reasonable to me. IIRC Emirates charges 2-3x that much for their FRA-DXB flights.

Out of all airlines I travelled Kuwait Airways was the best..Few hours before my departure I checked in asked for a window seat the staff said ok, and after sometime I asked again pls give me a window seat , after everything was done he gave the boarding pass saying "Sir you have been upgraded to business class". Not only to me but for my entire family. :) 😀

Last time I went to Kuwait I flew emirates because I heard less than favorable reviews on KA. I’ll be sure to book them next time because this looks great!
As a Muslim, I dont get how Alcohol is such a big thing, like we dont need it to have fun, plus i would prefer flights with no alcohol served, cause alot of ppl come on flights already having had consumed alcohol & then consume more & confrontations happen way to often involving intoxicated ppl, I’ve been on flights where groups of ppl have been loud & very forward towards stewardesses, making them & everyone on the flight uncomfortable.
I got a chance to fly a Delta A330-900 NEO transatlantic JFK to Athens and I absolutely loved it. My first widebody flight so this aircraft has a special place in my heart. When we arrived it was at a bus gate so seeing the aircraft from the ground was a cool experience

The food? A restaurant that doesn’t serve drinks isn’t acceptable either.

Yes, it is a good initiative to be a dry airline as the world needs a new level of luxury without any indulgence in alcoholism.
