Thanks for the shoutout! ❤ By the way, I think you look beautiful but yes, it definitely needed the root spray and I really love how you defined each curl, I have to try that! 👍 I can honestly tell you that I haven’t worn mine yet either because I like more volume and without permatease it’s hard to achieve that! For styling I do love the wig wax spray and sometimes a combination of that and the JR piece out cream works best for me! In the winter months I always think blondes look too blonde on me but then in the summer I love them. So maybe just put it away until summer and then maybe wear it out after work but not to work. I do that where I have work only wigs and then fun wigs! lol 😂 💛🤗😘

Dawn, you can make any wig workable! You did wonders with sheer drama. My first or only sheer drama was more wavy than curly and I had her for a long time but the top was unruly so I steamed her and afterward she looked very realistic. Yours at first looked wild but you tamed her as usual! It's a shame that didn't have a lace front because of the band showing. The root spray really helped, Dawn. However for the life of me I wonder what's up with quality control? Don't they ever check?
I don't think they really have much to work with in the Quality department - I'm sure they don't budget for many units to be of poor quality - so if we can figure out how to take what we get and pull a rabbit out of the hat, we Win 🥳
That entire wig needs root added . But that would be pretty in a done up style. You could wear it around town. But it is cute. I know Beth well from Beth’s Best Hair. She’s a sweetheart.

Dawn, I use Fill In Powder. That is the brand. It comes with a stippling brush. Much easier to use than that spray stuff. Try altering your makeup a little. You need more color. You will make that wig work!
I agree with adding the root, and cutting g is exactly what I do also.. longer hair on us older ladies does bring the face down.. but the color isn't bad on you. And BTW I finally got my hands on Alva! Can't wait for it to arrive❤😉
I made the same rookie mistake starting out. Not knowing enough I bought too many wigs. I brought 11 wigs from the US to Canada when I was snowbirding (we don't have a lot of choices here). Now after a few years of wig wearing I know what I like now.

I love what you did with this wig. I ordered it a long time ago but of course returned it like almost everything I order. I really need a petite size but so many are old lady looking. I love the curls on this but think something a little darker would really accentuate your pretty eyes.
I love the style I think a warmer color like the 27 or the 30 they're beautiful natural Auburn colors but they're not loud I think they would look really nice with your skin tone but I love this style I'm gonna try it❤
Oh good Karen, It turned out good but I wasn't quite sure in the beginning - I'm not gonna lie! I would recommend having a piece out cream of sorts really when she comes because it will come pretty limp and you will want to give her some "bones" or "body" to get her to sit up and pay attention, if you will 💖

Many of your wigs do not have a lace front, is that because of the itching? Lace front itch me a lot but I use a thin layer of Got2Be glue as a barrier. I also use sticky scin colored scar tape in the parting space (on the inside) to hide my darker har of wig grip You sure have a talent to work with wigs and make them work for you
Hey Wendy 👋 I was thrown off that this didn't come with a lace front because of the cap construction having so many bells and whistles (complete mono top and all hand tied) what were THEY thinking, other than you would like a swooping bang to cover it? I can't do swooping bang lol... True be told, lace front wigs are totally detectable on me! No seriously! I wear self tan and bronzer and it gets into the lace and creates a line within an hour of wear so I opt out when possible - and it saves me coins too 🎉
I loved your story. I just bought a L O N G wig and don't know WTH to do with it. It's a lace front parted down the middle with no FIN. It is FLAT as the pavement. YIKES😢 A Waste of $$, I think, and "bought wrong!" I need to pull out my MIA bag of tools and hope I can do something. I don't even think GOD can fix it.

The one thing that could probably help it is for you to put a root in it. There are several videos on UA-cam showing you how to do that. Wait, that’s hand tied and then they put that strip in the front? They couldn’t of taken another inch and continued the mono top all the way to the front? I don’t understand. This is the second time I’ve seen something like this with this brand, and I will never understand this.
I've gotten put in a lot more Root spray - I have seen some pull out their own Hair Line to blend into the front so it isn't so noticeable... I just don't know how they could put so many features into the cap and do nothing for the front 🤔

I know this happens to me when I have too much stress going on in my life and I impulse by in the middle of the night and I don’t even remember buying things and then I receive stuff in the mail and I’m like yeah I remember looking at that but I did I order it, now that I have Shop app it sends it right there and I know immediately so I can see the next day if I purchased anything turning my mania in the middle of the night! If anybody can get Wig to look good, you can but I don’t know how you fix that Wig cap.
I commend you Dawn for reviewing this but OMG, that wig is a little to be desired..... It's not your fault at all, but PY wigs seems to be getting worse and worse.... Why would you make a hand-tied wig with a cap that stark blonde?? It doesn't even look natural. I would try adding a root with the spray and then spraying the heck out of the cap as well. The dark root would add some color back in to that light blonde. I agree, these models the brands use must get a different version of the wigs than the general public does...

I made the same rookie mistake starting out. Not knowing enough I bought too many wigs. I brought 11 wigs from the US to Canada when I was snowbirding (we don't have a lot of choices here). Now after a few years of wig wearing I know what I like now.

I just saw the picture of this wig in the PY catalog - nothing like what I got! I don't understand how they think that's a good idea? Not at All the same curls or curl pattern... 🤔
I love what you did with this wig. I ordered it a long time ago but of course returned it like almost everything I order. I really need a petite size but so many are old lady looking. I love the curls on this but think something a little darker would really accentuate your pretty eyes.
I totally agree - this Platinum color is really not flattering on me like it is on others...
I love the style I think a warmer color like the 27 or the 30 they're beautiful natural Auburn colors but they're not loud I think they would look really nice with your skin tone but I love this style I'm gonna try it❤
Oh good Karen, It turned out good but I wasn't quite sure in the beginning - I'm not gonna lie! I would recommend having a piece out cream of sorts really when she comes because it will come pretty limp and you will want to give her some "bones" or "body" to get her to sit up and pay attention, if you will 💖

weekend hair then? that was a cute look too when it was partially clipped up. this colour brings out your skin by contrast, as with a tanned dutch/south african person (charlize theron colouring) .

Dawn you give such helpful hints. I have also bought wigs that were too blonde, ❤ or ashy blondes look horrible on me even if I change up the makeup. I was wondering if you could please say the name of the color besides the number. It would help so much blessings Dawn you are such a Beautiful Soul ❤

Many of your wigs do not have a lace front, is that because of the itching?
Lace front itch me a lot but I use a thin layer of Got2Be glue as a barrier. I also use sticky scin colored scar tape in the parting space (on the inside) to hide my darker har of wig grip

Hey Wendy 👋 I was thrown off that this didn't come with a lace front because of the cap construction having so many bells and whistles (complete mono top and all hand tied) what were THEY thinking, other than you would like a swooping bang to cover it? I can't do swooping bang lol... True be told, lace front wigs are totally detectable on me! No seriously! I wear self tan and bronzer and it gets into the lace and creates a line within an hour of wear so I opt out when possible - and it saves me coins too 🎉

I loved your story. I just bought a L O N G wig and don't know WTH to do with it. It's a lace front parted down the middle with no FIN. It is FLAT as the pavement. YIKES😢 A Waste of $$, I think, and "bought wrong!" I need to pull out my MIA bag of tools and hope I can do something. I don't even think GOD can fix it.
Man Christine, I am so happy you said this happens to you too! I have found much better success if I put them away for a while. I feel like, I get better at knowing what works and how to get it there, the further down the "journey" I go - getting my money out of anything is the goal!

Oh my dear sweet Dawn, you do look good in just about everything but sweetheart a great big no to this color! It seems to wash you out. The one thing that could probably help it is for you to put a root in it. There are several videos on UA-cam showing you how to do that. I look forward to seeing what you end up doing with this piece.

I've gotten put in a lot more Root spray - I have seen some pull out their own Hair Line to blend into the front so it isn't so noticeable... I just don't know how they could put so many features into the cap and do nothing for the front 🤔

I like the color a lot but I don’t know what they’re doing with those caps that are like that. They are so obvious in the front. I’m sorry you’re struggling so much. I know this happens to me when I have too much stress going on in my life and I impulse by in the middle of the night and I don’t even remember buying things and then I receive stuff in the mail and I’m like yeah I remember looking at that but I did I order it, now that I have Shop app it sends it right there and I know immediately so I can see the next day if I purchased anything turning my mania in the middle of the night! If anybody can get Wig to look good, you can but I don’t know how you fix that Wig cap.

I commend you Dawn for reviewing this but OMG, that wig is a little to be desired..... It's not your fault at all, but PY wigs seems to be getting worse and worse.... Why would you make a hand-tied wig with a cap that stark blonde?? It doesn't even look natural. I would try adding a root with the spray and then spraying the heck out of the cap as well. The dark root would add some color back in to that light blonde. I agree, these models the brands use must get a different version of the wigs than the general public does...
