Oh Kelly, I have to do my hoods almost in a different way since I made that, due to the fact, they are even more hooded - I have sworn off wearing shimmer shadows (my favs) because I feel like I look like I'm trying to hard lol💝

Hi Dawn I watched previous videos, years ago ones, now I subscribed! What works for me with the front itching I put the wig grip down a bit further on my forehead then place the wig on-top of the grip then push the grip in the correct place. Jones is my favorite style and hasn’t itched, but I have a Raquel wig that does! Hope it works for you. Glad you’re back. You are the one that inspired me to do updos. They never look as good as yours do😩. Oh just thought to say YES the spray wax is fabulous!!! It’s lighter on application.

When you first put that Bob on it was so flattering. Just to be able to put on a wig and look so good. You are a beautiful woman. I can't take the wig grip I get way too hot so I've learned how to do a bobby pin on each side and it holds it the long pins that are not flexible.
Sometimes I feel bulky around the ears with the wig and the grip - I totally get what you're saying about getting hot!
@@DawnStamper I have never been able to adjust so I can't wear it for long periods of time. The itching and the heat I envy those that can wear the wig grip and last for hours.. that wig looked gorgeous on you by the way.
@@Lnzinorbit i don't wear a wig grip either. I use two Bobby pins if it doesn't feel secure.

I know your not trying to influence a purchase. But any excuse will do . I did learn a ton starting with you but really got into it as a hobby. I cut and made toppers. Always had a blast. I can see that video you did in my head. I think you had a a white striped blouse with blue stripes. So let’s see how I remember things. I’m going search for it. I’ll check back 😜

I did get the Ashlee and loved it but it was defective in the back and I sent it back . You were really frustrated with ocean. That’s when I really started buying wigs. Do you remember? I’m gonna rewatch it. So fun

Hey Kathie, I am sure the piece out cream would work just the same on Heat Defiant fibers - I never wear Heat Defiant wigs because they don't last for me as well as regular synthetic. It's a Jon Renau product called Contour Piece Out Cream I believe. It's pricey (in my opinion) but will last you a lifetime!!!!
@@DawnStamper hi again, using the root spray on your eyebrows? Does that run when you perspire? I have to get my eyebrows dyed to cover white hair now a days. But I found using eyebrow ahadow/pencil and then applying Elf Brand- Wow Brow Gel colors the brows and keeps them in place even though perspiration or rainy weather 💕

Thanks for the root spray tip! Righf now I am wearing longer, layered, less straight styles probably in a last attempt to reclaim my lost 'youth' before my face gets too old and they look silly! Yeah, I was thinking that too C, that it is gonna need a bang.... I have been back and forth about filming vertically vs horizontally... Majority of viewers want it landscape/horizontal because they don't all watch on their phones the way I do - it might be too that I use my cell phone to make videos.... I do this just for fun and to honor my Mom who was instant on me getting up here to share what we learned when we were embarking on my first hair loss in adulthood..... I truly appreciate your input and will try it out and see how everyone feels 💞
Hi Dawn, you do show up vertically on my phone so you are full screen. What device is C watching on? If she is holding her phone horizontally, that will put you in a small box in the middle of her screen. Hope this is helpful.
@@shelly410 I appreciate your saying this Shelly because I started feeling confused about how to film - I have always done them horizontal and this is the first time I have ever been asked to change the angle - I only do this for fun. I know a lot of the reviewers get big box lighting and fancy cameras, but I am just honoring my Mom when she told me that I needed to do this; share our experiences and what we learned in my original wig journey when there were hardly any wig videos to watch...
@DawnStamper I just use my phone when I make videos, too. No fancy cameras or computer equipment. I did spring for a ring light from Amazon, lol. PS: I think your videos are great!
@DawnStamper your videos are great, and I'm a fan. The phone is fine and no special lights are required. I just meant to set the phone upright when videoing, instead of sideways on its side. Many of your videos ARE upright. This is just one of a few I have seen of yours filmed horizontally instead of vertically. Not meant as a criticism! 😘
What piece out cream do you use and where do you get it
Jon Renau brand "Piece Out Contour Cream" and I probably got it off Amazon or one of the online wig retailers... Everyone tells me now that something called, "Wig Wax" is better, but that comes in small little spray bottles and doesn't last as long - plus you'll go through it a lot more often than the Piece Out Contour Cream 😜
What color is the hair root spray?
There are so many different root color choices to choose from Tracy, I use dark medium brown - but there are at least a dozen on the shelf to choose from.... You're sure to find a great match for yourself 🥳
