Je redécouvre cette chanson, après se sont 2 valeurs sûres de qualité ! Juste une remarque sur GCM, c'est tellement mieux pour moi de le nommer grand corps malade.
Magnifique chanson interprétée par Louane, une jeune chanteuse pleine de promesses, et Grand Corps Malade, slammeur poétique qui année après année ne déçoit pas.
Le sujet c'est la résilience par la chanson après un drame. Si l'émotion passe autant c'est parce que les deux interprètes ont vécu un tel drame, comme d'autres l'ont souligné dans leurs commentaires : Louane (Anne Peichert) a perdu ses deux parents de maladie à 1 an d'intervalle et s'est retrouvée orpheline à 17 ans. Grand Corps Malade (Fabien Marsaud) a subi un grave accident à 20 ans en plongeant dans une piscine pas assez remplie, il s'est rompu les vertèbres cervicales et est resté paralysé quelque temps, avant de récupérer peu à peu sa motricité mais il conserve des séquelles (c'est pourquoi on le voit souvent appuyé sur une canne) : son nom de scène fait référence à cet accident ainsi qu'à sa grande taille (1,94 m).
Cette chanson est sortie en pleine pandémie de Covid-19 lors du 2ème confinement en France, aussi je pense qu'elle a fait un bien fou à des tas de gens vivant cet autre drame en leur redonnant une forme d'espoir, illustrée par la rencontre entre les deux artistes dans un café à la fin du clip.
Enfin, cette chanson met en parallèle deux lieux - le Pas-de-Calais pour Louane et la Seine-Saint-Denis pour Grand Corps Malade - qui ont beaucoup compté dans leur vie : ils y sont nés et y ont vécu toute leur enfance et leur vie de jeune adulte. Dans le Pas-de-Calais, Louane a vécu à Hénin-Beaumont dans le Bassin minier mais c'est Boulogne-sur-Mer, un port de pêche, qui a été choisie pour illustrer la vidéo (images tournées dans la citadelle sur les hauteurs de la ville), peut-être parce que les réalisateurs ne voulaient pas célébrer Hénin-Beaumont, connue pour sa municipalité d'extrême-droite. En Seine-Saint-Denis, Grand Corps Malade a vécu dans plusieurs villes dont Saint-Denis qui est choisie ici (images tournées près de la mairie) : une grande ville ouvrière et populaire de la banlieue parisienne.
A magnificent song performed by Louane, a young promising singer and Great Sick Body, a poetic slammer who did'nt disappoint fans year after year.
The subject is resilience through song after a tragedy. Emotion is passing so much because the both performers lived such a tragedy, as other ones wrote : Louane (Anne Peichert) lost both parents from illness a year apart and was orphaned at the age of 17. Grand Corps Malade ("Great Sick Body", alias Fabien Marsaud) suffered a serious accident at the age of 20 while diving in an insufficiently filled swimming pool ; he ruptured the cervical vertebrae and remained paralyzed for some time before partially recovering his motor skills, but he still has sequelae (this is why we often see him leaning on a cane). His stage name refers to this accident as well as his large size (1.94 m).
This song was released in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic during the 2nd confinement in France, so I think it did a lot of good to lots of people living this other tragedy by giving them a form of hope, illustrated by the meeting between the two artists in a cafe at the end of the video clip.
Finally, this song parallels two areas - Pas-de-Calais in northern France for Louane and Seine-Saint-Denis near Paris for Grand Corps Malade - which have been very important in their lives : they were born there and lived there all their childhood and their life as young adult. In Pas-de-Calais, Louane lived in the city of Henin-Beaumont in the former coal mining basin but it is Boulogne-sur-Mer, a fishing port, that was choosen to illustrate the video (images shot in the citadel on the heights of the city) perhaps because the directors did'nt want to celebrate Henin-Beaumont, known in France for its municipality of far right. In Seine-Saint-Denis, Grand Corps Malade lived in several cities including Saint-Denis which is chosen here (images shot near the city hall) : a large working-class and popular city in the suburbs of Paris.

The song is dope ! Louane and GCM are amazing, but let's not forget Mosimann who composed and produced... Three very talented people !

Grand Corps Malade (GCM) is a slam singer who uses music as a therapy after his accident (he ended up almost completely paralyzed).
Louane was a candidate of the season 2 of The Voice France in 2013 when she had 16 years old. She didn't win but some candidates of the show became more famous than the winner. You should listen her others songs. She also played in the movie " The Bélier family "
Two artists who are both well worth checking out. Grand Corps Malade is a true wordsmith.
