The airship is Jinx! Cait was looking at where the battle took place and looked at the escape route while holding Jinx's bomb. Cait smirked realizing Jinx probably escaped the bomb since they didn't find a body. The airship at the end makes sense because in season 1 Jinx says, "one day I'm going to fly off on one of those". It's very open ended honestly but she can be alive.
Yep, you can even see her scaping the explosion, that purple fast flash on top right of the booom. I was all these years wondering which character would be the last one in screen. Obviously, it had to be Jinx. Finally flying in that airship. The last 3 episodes talk SO MUCH with the first 2 ones...
i don't like that she survived, it fells like they only did it because they can then use her for future stuff, the logical thing would have been to let her die, making her sacrifice actually matter
@@JustCauseFan Sometimes walking away is the best thing you can do, leave people behind when you know you're the element of contention. "Death" doesn't always have to be the sacrifice. Sometimes living and choosing to leave those you love behind is all you can do. Jinx put Vander to rest, letting him sleep finally. He has gone through too much. He was her dad and she saw him out before moving on with her life herself.
@@DM_Rid i know what you mean, but for thw whole tone of the show and specially the last few episodes, i think they just want to keep her character for future content, but it really makes no sense and her sacrificing herself for Vi and to release Vander would have been perfect
I don't know. Jinx surviving is a nice theory supported by a bit of presumptive evidence but nothing concrete. So in my mind it's still left somewhat ambiguous and allows for both, her death and her survival.
Christian Linke said in a recent interview that the original cut of the finale was well over an hour and Netflix was like, no, you gotta get that to be under an hour. I wonder how much closure the original cut provided vs what we saw.
Well they could have done an extra episode but they didn’t. I want to see the timestamp of that interview because Netflix is not their only platform. They have also bilibili which is bigger than netflix
I would be very surprised if it was Netflix that demanded it be shorter. It feels much more likely Riot executives made that call. Make it shorter so they could deliver the final cut sooner and for less money. It was a bad decision either way, but at least this version was still wonderfully done.
@@equestrianrosie yeah I thought about it after making that comment and I think he was just being vague since he implied but didn't actually say Netflix. Unfortunately, that seems to have caused a lot of misunderstanding online about deleted scenes. People assume they were fully animated and then cut, but I'm guessing they were never finished (or maybe only got as far as the script). Unlike the extra saucy version of the CaitVi scene which he did actually say Netflix pushed back on for ratings purposes. Apparently that might be on a French hard drive somewhere 😆
23:00 I assume you mean the wild rune, the anomaly. (The hexcore is what fused with Viktor in episode 1). The anomaly is gone. Viktor took it in his staff and brought it above the hexgate to create the storm. When he and Jayce got sucked into Jayce's acceleration rune and out of existence the anomaly went with them. Hextech still exists, but only the stable gems and devices that had been operating for years without negative consequence. It was the creation of the hexcore by Viktor that triggered all the funky wild rune shenanigans. So the hexgate itself wasn't actually a problem, only the hexcore and what resulted from it. But without scientists who know how to use them, goodluck Piltover rebuilding that thing.
Loved the series and your reaction. Overall, I think the show had a great balance between the personal and the spectacle. Although, now I need to re-watch the episode (maybe the whole show) after reading the comments.
I thought Jinx was going to die but I was like that is sad but maybe she is in an afterlife or something somewhere with Isha. But lot of clues and hints that she is still alive. Back when Powder said I am going to fly one of those one day. Then she survived everything. Just let me go. Not her but everything that has happened. She says I am always with you sis. Cait gave that look looking at the blueprints and gave that little smirk. She could have fell and then released from him and pushed herself off into one of the air ducts or openings near the bottom so he falls and that along with the bomb kills him but she is fine. Then she gets son that ship she said she was going to fly one day and that is the final moment. Jinx says I am with you even if we are worlds apart. So she is leaving and will be elsewhere but still with Vi. So I imagine Jinx is shacked up somewhere else and there will be some time and then she might go back and see Vi or maybe just send her a code or a message to let her know she is ok. So whether she is alive or dead I hope she has peace.

The second channel that notices Swain's crow, thank you! ❤️
As a former Swain main, I must

What a series… ❤🤘🏻 Best animated show I’ve ever seen.

Also if you go frame by frame, there is a purple streak that shoots out from the top right of the explosion.
Except for Ambessa no character was shown actually dead, they left the ending pretty open so that we can imagine our own ending
