Maddie is smiling in the impact frame because Mel is a empath mage. It’s why she was unconsciously such a good manipulator. Mel saw what Maddie was truly feeling right in that moment. She was smiling on the inside. Crazy detail to add, but wonderful once you notice it!
I think that frame sort of solidifies (for me) that Maddie wasn't an initial plant and instead grew highly dissatisfied by Caitlyn treating it like a rebound - which created a void that... Ambessa filled (as she did with Caitylin when Vi left). For me, the "Hazards of Professional Entanglements" wasn't a warning that you might get into bed with a spy... but that personal feelings will eventually overcome professional duties and (in this case) national loyalties. Spite makes people do some horrible things
@@USful Possibly, but also, Noxus is kind of infamous for using spies. In fact, this wouldn't even be the first story with a young woman in Piltover who turns out to be a Noxian spy.

Interesting note: The reason why this version of the timeline worked, is because the rune that Viktor gave Jayce is the same rune that Ekko was doing experiments with: "Inversions with Jayce's Acceleration rune." If he didn't give Jayce the ability to accelerate, he wouldn't have given ekko the ability to go back in time, and that was the thing that allowed Jayce to get through Viktor's mask.
Doesn't this imply that the reason Jayce could help Viktor wasn't because he was uniquely 'compatible' with Viktor, or 'special' for a lack of a better term in comparison to his multiverse counterparts, but simply because of this one happy accident? I mean, isn't that kind of cheap? That all other Jayces failed because they lost Viktor's rune lottery?
Another thing between Jayce and Viktor I found really cool is one of the reasons Jayce can appreciate Viktor's flaws is because he had to go through it himself. He had to crawl up out of the undercity into Piltover with a busted leg.
If I remember Schnees analysis of Victor is that his arc and tragedy revolves around not valueing himself and finding value in what he can provide to the world. Skye valued him, Jayce valued him as a person but he was blind to this. He may or may not have picked up on Skye's perspective after she died but even with Jayce he lost himself.
Ekko kinda did too, because he got the two things he always wanted to: Jinx redeemed herself, and he saw Zaun and Piltover come together as one. And of course he saved the world
Caitlyn did also. She too, got a happy, scot-free ending with Vi despite how she treated her and the fact that she became a dictator. And she didn't even apologize once.
Caitlyn lost an eye, never avenged her mother, sold her soul to authoritarianism and nearly enabled the destruction of the world as a result. Now she gets to live with all that. That looks like winning, to you?
you're one of the only people who expressed so much emotion at the first scene - you teared up for the person who was ready to die (unalive herself) multiple times; i appreciate you fam
Those two frames of Maddie pulling the trigger is a really interesting way to showcase Mel's "empath" powers. She could truly sense Maddie's SINISTER intentions, and gave her some fucking karma
Undisputed fact that Ekko was the MVP in all of Arcane, The Boy Savior literally saved the world. Also when Arcane Jesus, who's seen it all through time and space looks at your work and goes "no fucking way" ("That device can't be") you know you're the GOAT
I love that the green guy was the one who lives from all the new characters introduced in Caitlins squad. He's the guy everyone thought would die for sure
You're one of the few reactors that catched that Jinx is alive from the first watch! That Caitlyn clue is not the only one either, there's many more! xD
@@araquiel3087 But it's the same grenade that she tried to use in the start of the episode, and that seemed genuine. Not sure if shimmer alone can boost someone's rezistance enough a point blank hextech grenade. Don't get me wrong I believe she is alive but realistically she shouldn't.
@@Phoenixillusion18 she pulled the pin and then immediately used her shimmer powers to use super speed to into the vents all before the explosion actually started. edit: She didn't "survive" the explosion she simple escaped the blast area before it happened
I think the wild rune scattering them across timelines was outside of Viktor's control, he simply gave different versions of Jayce different runes and this just happened to be the correct one for Ekko to figure out his device that ended up saving our timeline. It was pure chance that it all worked out in the end.
As someone who is fully onboard the Ekko/Jynx ship, I love the little details the two have in terms of sharing graffiti in the final battle. The Firelights/Ekko’s symbol is on her blimp. Ekko has a X on his chest with Jynx’s colors. It’s been pointed out to me Jynx’s pose is similar to Ekko’s in the firelight music video in season 1. I really appreciate the Isha homages on the blimp too, including the bunny looking like it’s rocking out to the song.
Imo, Jinx survived and chose to leave the source of her cycle of trauma. There's plenty of evidence: the streak of her shimmer flash just before Warwick(Vander) is blown up. During Caitlin's inspection of the Hexgates ventilation she smirks and in the midst of narration 'Our story is not over' the remnants of the monkey grenade is highlighted. In front of the fire she's conflicted when asking Vi if she's still in the fight, since she doesn't know whether or not it's best to inform her of what she knows. And there's influential scenes with Jinx where she listens even after stating they're too late. To Silco, while in the cell: 'I think the cycle only ends when one finds the will to walk away.' The known and unknown conversations between her and Ekko. 'No matter what happened in the past it's never too late to build something new.... Sometimes to make a leap forward you have to leave a few things behind.' Solidified with the final shot, being of a blimp Jinx imagined one day flying away on from the very beginning; 'One day I'm going to ride in one of those.'
One of the reasons I believe Jinx is alive is cuz Arcane loves making call backs. And Powder's first line in Episode 1 of the series other than "Woah" is "One day I'm going to ride in one of those things" towards the same airship we see as the closing scene of the final episode.
Jayce and Viktor are literal soulmates, here and in every timeline. I don't care if it's platonic or romantic, but their final scene was so intimate and full of love and just so incredibly beautiful
Arcane wasn't just a show. It was an experience. And Holy God, was it an amazing one. In the very first episode of the show, Powder saw a blimp and said "One day, I'm gonna ride one of those things." I strongly believe she's still alive. That last shot is there for a reason And jinx is walking away to break the cycle.
Silco's "office" is on the 2nd floor of vander's bar. The basement is where Vi and the others room. You can explore the place on Jinx's mini game called Jinx fixes everything on League client.
Viktor didn't summon him to the future. I think Jayce's wrist rune is what caused it to act differently with him. Ekko and Heimerdinger got displaced because they weren't part of the equation of the hexgate. Jayce got catapulted.
The pursuit of Hextech was necessary for the destruction of it. How freaking poetic. They needed to be brothers for Viktor to even have a chance to get out of insanity. The rendition of Viktors theme in the background was also soo soo good. You can recognize that melody anywhere.
Everyone close to Vi seems to recognize by the end that Vi can't let go of people, literally ever.. its kind of a personality flaw as much as it is a strength, she fights so hard to keep people safe.. because she's /terrified/ of losing them.. Honestly by the end of the series Jinx has become a lot more mature and emotionally strong in a lot of ways than Vi is in my mind That whole last fight and the way Jinx talks to Vi is literally a goodbye "I'm always with you, even if we're worlds apart." She was always going to leave, because as long as she stays she knows that Vi is going to keep protecting her, and when it comes to it that is always going to ruin things for Vi or put her in a complicated position because just like her getting arrested after saving Cait it doesn't matter how much good she does. Vi forgives her, even Cait may have forgiven her, since she literally enabled Vi to break her out of prison, but there are a ton of people who won't, she has killed a ton of people, she blew up half the council, "No amount of good deeds can erase our crimes." People say "then Cait should be jailed too" but.. really? theres a huge difference between what Cait did and literally blowing up at the very least dozens of people, gleefully and without remorse Jinx is my favorite character, but no one would have let her have peace if she had stayed even though she deserved a second chance by the end. I liked the ending, i do think that there could have been a couple of breather episodes between some of the things that happened to show the fallout and kind of let things process more.. it was /alot/ but the whole series to me was amazing.
Not only that with the scratchy bit with the air ship. If you go frame by frame as Jinx and Vander fall, right at the end, you see a blue streak away from Vander. I think that it covers only 2 frames so its easy to miss.
10:20 I saw some people saw this was from Mel’s perspective, since she’s an empath that can see people as they are, and right as she sensed what was happening, she blocked the bullet even when she couldn’t see it.
Jinx actually didn't want to kill ekko (killing him is the opposite of breaking the cycle), she first thought he's not real like the voices but when she realized he is real she tried to explode the bomb away from him by going down.
We did see that Mel's opera house was putting on a play about the crowning of a Demacian king, and we saw a painting of one of Caitlyn's ancestors in Ionia, but as far as I know that's all the attention they were given in Arcane
anybody knows the pink streak after the explosion that is jinx cuz she still has shimmer and she's fast there's no way she did not die jinx always be the best character it cannot be over
"I grew up knowing I'm less than them, that my place is down there" "If my own family won't help me, I'll find someone who will" "No one's ever believed in me either" etc etc I think that final scene with Jayce and Viktor proves that despite all their grand dreams and lofty ambitions, all most of our characters have really wanted from the very beginning is to find someone who really sees and understands them, who recognizes their worth as human beings and believes in them enough to make them believe in themselves And I think most of them got to experience that before the end, which is beautiful despite all the tragedy
something i enjoy about your videos is that you /actually/ react (like laugh out loud, scream, cry and everything) without getting distracted, it makes me feel less alone bc when i watched this with my fam they didn't even shed a tear while i was BAWLING since the beginning of this last arc lmaoo Might sound redundant (for a reaction video/channel at least) but i actually appreciate how genuine you are !! 🫂🫂🫂
News to me they have announced that the shows in production will be based in Noxus, Demacia and Ionia, but it makes sense since they are likely the biggest or at least most fleshed out territories in Runeterra. Also want to point out, you mentioned about 10 champions in this show, I counted up earlier, and there are 10 champions ORIGIN stories in this show alone, let alone the ones that were in the show otherwise. The other ones being all easter eggs or namedrops; Teemo, Janna, Leblanc, Swain, Jhin and there is even a KLED easter egg (the area he is posted in in the lore was mentioned by ambessa in Ep 5 of this season when talking to Singed).
I like how u can see that in arcane noxus easily defeats piltovers organized military, but fail to fight against zaun beacause of their unpredictability
To me, it's the best ending we could get at this point. Now they're probably floating somewhere, theorizing about stuff and having the best time of their not-lives
I love your take on Jinx's "death". To me it was obvious she didn't die when they showed Caitlyn checking those drawings. Still sad though, because it seems she's no longer in Vi's and Ekko's lives, despite being alive :(
If i told you S01E01 that someone in the lanes was going to be on the council, lots of us would have guessed Vander... 0% of us would have guessed Sevika.
@@Aaniel_al.Meara. sure but because she's the Zaun outsider more than likely the other councillors will quickly unit against her and use as a scapegoat and first person to blame when anything goes wrong. I don't see Sevika lasting long under that kind of pressure before reaching "f it im out"
I feel like there is definitely a lot of layers to the timeline episode. In episode 7, Ekko and Heimerdinger are not only in a timeline without Vi but also a timeline without Jayce. And the inverse is the outcome of a timeline without Ekko's intervention. Remember that WITHOUT the z drive, Jayce was about to repeat the exact pose and outcome of the future he was thrusted to. Not only that but the specific rune that this Viktor gave to Jayce is the sole reason the z drive was able to be created. The function of the Z drive as per Ekko is an inverse of the same rune Jayce was given as a child and the root of hextech in this timeline. I think the surprise on present time Viktor of the z drive comes from the fact that at that point that type of rune function or ability did not exist and when he sees what his future self has to say to him, he comes full circle with the same quote he used against Singed -"Knowledge is a paradox. The more one understands, the more one realizes the vastness of his ignorance." It's interesting looking back the same episode he says this to singed is the same episode where he makes a "revelation" that sets him on the path of his ignorance of the pursuit of perfection. My personal theory is that future Viktor did not really travel multiple timelines or is even capable of this. I think he has been looped to a single timeline trying to use any rune to change the outcome of that particular timeline's future. This would explain his lack of knowledge about the z drive ( I believe he doesn't know about the z drive because he only mentions the importance of Jayce and never mentions how important if not VITAL Ekko is to "defeating" present time Viktor) or any awareness of vastly alternate timelines like the one without hextech. I think this also explains why Future Viktor's appearance changes because everytime he alters his timeline he is also changing.
Im usually very sceptical about theories about if someone survived in a show or not, and im usually on the side that doesnt believe in most , but i decided to check the clues myself and yeah, they are all spot on, there really is a purple/pink light that flashes before the grenade goes off, and the ship from episode 1 is the same exact one from the ending. It makes me happy to know she is somewhere out there, trying to make a new beggining.
As far as I'm concerned, Ekko is the mvp of this show (with the assist from Heimerdinger, of course). He deserved more screentime though. Maybe in one of the other shows set within this universe he'll reappear?
it was really fun watching the show with you Omn1, the compation you shared with the characters in the show was on the same lvl as me, 100%, 10/10 as always!
Arcane has been one wild ride! Season 1 and 2 were really just great shows and I am looking forward to what Riot and Fortiche do next. Even if it will probably be 6 years before they do anything again.
@@ninjatoriumnova2483 Agreed. Considering how Noxus tends to (forcibly) insert itself into the geopolitics of Runeterra, I feel like it's going to be something of a recurring faction in the Arcaneverse.
Hoping Ionia first, cause one of the things of Demacia (that I'm aware) is that they have this thing of hunting down mages and even have a guy that can be considered like Silco/Jinx with a whole revolution, so it would feel rather repeating what happened in Piltover
Heimerdinger last ep: "Inconceivable! No, I mean it literally cannot work." (or something like that) Viktor (upon seeing Ekko's device): "That device can't be."
I cried a lot in this finale and loved the season but I do have two major flaws one is the pacing especially 8 and 9 and the second flaw is the new side characters and how they were used imo. You are the reactor that jinx is alive and there are three hints: powder in episode one says she dreamed that she will ride a air ballon, cait is searching for her, and in the first frame of the explosion we see a purple line going the air duct. Ecco is the mvp
In retrospect, Maddie's little "Nice to know there's still good one's" speech she gave Vi at the beginning of the season comes across very ironically different now.
If you freeze in the first tiny frame of explosion, you can see a pink lightning escaping the explosion at the nick of time, that adding the conversations with ghost Silco and Ekko, and the fact that Caitlyn was watching the schematics of the Hex Gate, focusing in the ventilation shafts, and also the blimp that go away to the see is a fair assumption, and is very probably to assume that Jinx is still alive and leaving both cities, she is not dead.
24:07 Cant BE, period. Viktor was omniscient by that point and knew all possibilities and timelines as he alludes in his speech to Jayce in the future. Ekko was sent to a world with no Hextech, STILL created the anomaly, and brought it back. He created an anomaly that was never supposed to exist which Viktor could not foresee. It was the only way for the time loop to break. Ekko truly is the "boy that shattered time".
It's crazy the Jinx shot from the trailer was from the finale, and that we all completely forgot about that different look until we saw it here. (At least I did, and Omni did haha).
I think it was Episode 1, Powder/ Jinx tells Vi and the gang she wants to ride an airship, and the last scene is her on an airship doing exactly what Silco told her to do, break the cycle, walk away, and start over.
To quote my own tumblr post- "When i said 'maybe doomed yaoi can save the world' i didn't think it would work"😂😭🏳️🌈 Also- the emotion i felt when "Come Play" started playing was SO hype
when Jinx sets her bomb off, there's a pink streak that's only there for a few frames, suggesting she used her Shimmer-based superspeed to get out of there we don't know what she and Ekko talked about but it did seem to renew her will to live, though her choice to make everyone believe she's dead (and implicitly ride the same type of airship she wanted to ride in season 1 episode 1 away from the cities) is yeah, i think both her choosing to walk away to end the cycle and start over somewhere new, /and/ free Vi of any obligation to her - because Jinx knows Vi won't give up on her and that that'll probably lead her to suffer more (which is confirmed to her when Vi attempted to mourn Vander instead of getting herself to safety), so Jinx forces Vi's hand, leads her to believe she's dead so she can mourn and move on and be happy with Caitlyn Cait's knowing smile while examining the head of the monkey bomb (the same head, it has the same red fleck of paint on one of the nails, meaning they went in there to try and recover Jinx's remains and couldn't find her) is her putting together how Jinx survived and surmising that she must have some reason not to want Vi to know, and is letting her keep that secret
all the champions that died did it in a way that they could write there return in a spinn-off. it is quite smart if they do not need them than they have there endings here in Piltover but if they do than it not difficult to engineer a situation where they can return
@mr.penguin79 nah she to can return. if she does return than it is as a avatar of the wolf a more mysticle presence. And as a bonus riot can give her a new exclusieve skin with a avatar of the wolf design
@@mr.penguin79 It's not like there are no afterlife in Runeterra so technically anybody could return. But yeah I'm sure they wont do it, resurrecting is always bad for the plot (with some exceptions of course)
Alright, I'll just preface this, as some people seem to get really butt hurt when people bring up the fact that characters might still be alive. But much like a lot of people out there, I genuinely think that not many of them DID die. I'm pretty sure out of everyone through out the ending who... "died" only one of them actually did. I'm a firm believer of if you don't see the body, they're probably still alive. The only one for sure is Ambessa. So lets breakdown the others. Jinx, if you pause it at the moment of the explosion, you clearly see a streak of purple/pink moving away just before the explosion. Couple that with Cait looking at Hexgate vents where she fell and then the last shot of the blimp, the same type that Powder said she wanted to ride at the start of the show. As well as the "talk" with Silco, where he told her that the only way to break the cycle is to walk away. Waaay too much evidence pointing to her living. She pulled a Loki and removed herself from the people she cared about. Viktor & Jayce, these guys are literally magic now and probably teleported somewhere by Jayce's gem with the hextech. Probably inside the gem now where that crow was poking at. Which hints at where the story might go next. Warwick, motherf*cker survived one explosion before, a super charged one at that. In his new form where he seems to be MORE dourable, doubt he's dead either. Heimerdinger, again if he died I would have expected a body or dust left in his place. He probably teleported somewhere else after linking the time-machine. Overall, amazing show. A piece of literal art come to life and I cannot wait for where the show heads too next. I'm hoping to continue Mel's story and the Black Rose storyline. Also Singed, the war criminal being the only one that got a happy ending is crazy.
I think it's literally just Ambessa that died, all the rest have other explanations for how they could survive. Jinx, Viktor, Jayce I completely agree with. Warwick, that explosion only had one gem whereas Isha's had three and he more or less survived that explosion, barely, but regardless his body will probably get recovered by Singed who might in turn use even more wolf parts to heal him, pushing him towards his full wolf look in League. Heimerdinger's race are immortal, they teleport back to the spirit realm if they're body dies.
In keeping with Singed being at the center of everything, he basically gave Viktor the mind virus of thinking he had to be alone to accomplish great things...Jayce was the cure. Even at the end, when he sees himself give Jayce the gem, his instinct is to push Jayce away, but Jayce won't let him.
Ambassa is just so smug these last episodes and it makes her so easy to root against! Her pride and absolute refusal to say she is wrong makes her a great villain that I love to see get what she deserves!
Things I am almost certain of I figured out by now (I still need to go deeper into the world building to figure out everything): 1. The key to Jinx survival is that because of the Shimmer-Revival in S1 she has the ability to transition between two points in near space almost instantly. She used that ability to escape though an Airduct and then used one the Blimps to go away and "break the cycle" (like she said in 1x01 she is gonna fly in one of those one day) 2. Victor said "this device can't be" because for him that device was not possible. At that point in time he thought he had figured out all the mysteries of the universe in order to get to the "final evolution" (maybe he actually did) but I don't think he ever figured out about alternate universes (it wasn't really his focus anyway). Because that device was built in an alternate universe it was impossible in our current universe and so Victor didn't know what to do with it. Later of course he did find out about alternate universes though Jayce but that was also the precise moment he stopped chasing perfection. I am still not quite sure if the mysterious mage is "only" Victor and if so from which point in time or if it is a new being created out of the combination of Victor and Jayce or whatever (that is one of the parts I still need to work out) but he knew about alternate universes because of Jayce's knowledge 3. My personal head-canon at the moment is that 2x07 was not only a parallel universe but also a bit of foreshadowing in which direction our Piltover is going. The Piltover in the alternate universe was shaped by Vander and Silco working together and Topside collaborating from what we could make out in that universe. In your universe we now have Topsiders collaborating and from the undercity Ekko working with Vanders ideals and Sevica working with Silcos ideals (and also her being on the council which I actually think Silco was too in the other universe since he needed to "come to the party", he was not living in the undercity or at least not near the bar) EDIT (after your discussion): 1. I like your idea about who the "mage Victor" is. And it also still works with my second point above (this Victor never knew about alternate universes until the very end when Jayce shows him) 2. NO, I think the reason they show Vi so "free" is because she believes Jinx is gone. Otherwise she will always think and worry about her. I think the only two times we saw Vi this relaxed in the show is in this scene and in the scene in Caitlyn's bedroom in S1. In both instances Vi believes Jinx to be gone (obviously the S1 was a lot sadder in tone but she was still somewhat at peace at that moment) 3. Based on what I have heard about Runeterra and how diverse it is, I honestly hope that Riot goes with the approach of giving different projects to different animation studios. Yes, this studio did amazing work but if you go into a completely different story, changing the style of the show and it's creators would really work, keep it fresh and (most importantly) give us shows more often since a single studio can only do so much And lastly I am just sad that Heimerdinger was not able to see this "new" Piltover anymore 😢 I don't actually know anything about LoL Lore but based all this on what the show told us specifically (which I think is a good way to look at it since the show does change a few things if I heard it correctly). I have heard someone say that when a Yordle dies he is reborn in their homeland (though I don't know if that is actually true, if it is also true in Arcane Lore, if they would remember anything from their life before and if being in a different dimension he was not supposed to be in changed anything about that). So until we see anything different I think I will believe that he is either gone or reborn in the alternate Universe and remember all the good things he did (though we shouldn't forget that he was a bit too passive at points which is one of the reasons the situation in the Undercity went as bad as it did)
28:52 Can i also point out that when the pink shimmer line happens (ie jinx escaping) the lyric at that exact moment is "but i ran out" - might be a stretch but taken with all the other coincidences... #jinxisalive

28:53 you can see the shimmer trail from Jinx's eyes right before the explosion. She indeed faked her death so she could walk away to break the cycle.
I love that the green guy was the one who lives from all the new characters introduced in Caitlins squad.
He's the guy everyone thought would die for sure
And was shown to be noble anytime he was on screen too.

Heenot! I'm happy he lived, he was clearly a good person and also has a cool design

Its incredible how they managed to tell such a story in just 18 episodes.
You're one of the few reactors that catched that Jinx is alive from the first watch! That Caitlyn clue is not the only one either, there's many more! xD
What I don’t get though is that Warwick still had her in his grip
@@JC-wn7ih the shimmer not only makes she extremely resistant but also very strong

I think the wild rune scattering them across timelines was outside of Viktor's control, he simply gave different versions of Jayce different runes and this just happened to be the correct one for Ekko to figure out his device that ended up saving our timeline. It was pure chance that it all worked out in the end.
12:42 Sickest character design I've ever seen.
Swain's crow at the end
I sure that could be anyones 3 eyed, six eye? raven
Yeah there‘s plenty of hints, it‘s just it makes no sense
@@JustCauseFan How?
Beautifully said
One of the reasons I believe Jinx is alive is cuz Arcane loves making call backs. And Powder's first line in Episode 1 of the series other than "Woah" is "One day I'm going to ride in one of those things" towards the same airship we see as the closing scene of the final episode.
What I still don’t understand about that is that Warwick still had her in his grip.
Yep, I mentioned the game last video. I've been playing it between acts. Sad Act 3 isn't out yet
Ambessa probably, realizing Caitlyn is a lesbian into girls with reddish hair: ".......oh I have the perfect tool for this"
When the explosion happens with jinx you can see a streak of pink heading towards the air ducts that could be jinx
The flashback also isnt from jinx pov its from vanders. Meaning its a vander/warwick flashback, *cough cough* there still small pieces in there..
I need to rewatch the entire series from scratch, buy the 4K steelbook of both seasons, and buy the art book YESTERDAY
Also, if you look closely when Maddy shoots, Mel puts a shield around Maddy after the initial ricochet allowing the round to hit her several times.
Honestly by the end of the series Jinx has become a lot more mature and emotionally strong in a lot of ways than Vi is in my mind
That whole last fight and the way Jinx talks to Vi is literally a goodbye "I'm always with you, even if we're worlds apart."
She was always going to leave, because as long as she stays she knows that Vi is going to keep protecting her, and when it comes to it that is always going to ruin things for Vi or put her in a complicated position because just like her getting arrested after saving Cait it doesn't matter how much good she does.
Vi forgives her, even Cait may have forgiven her, since she literally enabled Vi to break her out of prison, but there are a ton of people who won't, she has killed a ton of people, she blew up half the council, "No amount of good deeds can erase our crimes."
People say "then Cait should be jailed too" but.. really? theres a huge difference between what Cait did and literally blowing up at the very least dozens of people, gleefully and without remorse
Jinx is my favorite character, but no one would have let her have peace if she had stayed even though she deserved a second chance by the end.
Oooo nice catches!
anybody knows the pink streak after the explosion that is jinx cuz she still has shimmer and she's fast there's no way she did not die jinx always be the best character it cannot be over
jinx and ekko showing up is the new greatest entrance of all time
LMAO "sorry Greg"
Fun little detail: the blimp Jinx and Ekko ride in on is Jinx's home.
Damn I didn't even notice! lmao
"I grew up knowing I'm less than them, that my place is down there"
"If my own family won't help me, I'll find someone who will"
"No one's ever believed in me either"
etc etc
I think that final scene with Jayce and Viktor proves that despite all their grand dreams and lofty ambitions, all most of our characters have really wanted from the very beginning is to find someone who really sees and understands them, who recognizes their worth as human beings and believes in them enough to make them believe in themselves
And I think most of them got to experience that before the end, which is beautiful despite all the tragedy
something i enjoy about your videos is that you /actually/ react (like laugh out loud, scream, cry and everything) without getting distracted, it makes me feel less alone bc when i watched this with my fam they didn't even shed a tear while i was BAWLING since the beginning of this last arc lmaoo

Glad you picked up on a lot of the stuff other reactors kind of just missed or just completely did not consider
Ekko really came in clutch this season!

Arcane may be over now, but more shows are to come.
Our adventures in Runeterra will continue.
I think we’re heading to Noxus next.
They mentioned Noxus, Ionia and Demacia today, possibly in one show, possibly more.
@@ninjatoriumnova2483 Agreed. Considering how Noxus tends to (forcibly) insert itself into the geopolitics of Runeterra, I feel like it's going to be something of a recurring faction in the Arcaneverse.
Swains raven is a clue lol
Hoping Ionia first, cause one of the things of Demacia (that I'm aware) is that they have this thing of hunting down mages and even have a guy that can be considered like Silco/Jinx with a whole revolution, so it would feel rather repeating what happened in Piltover
Makes sense, they effectively set up Mel as a character over these two seasons and she's sailed off in Noxian colours.
Heimerdinger last ep: "Inconceivable! No, I mean it literally cannot work." (or something like that)
Viktor (upon seeing Ekko's device): "That device can't be."
That was a perfect reaction 😢 i cryd in every time i re watch jinx scene
I cried a lot in this finale and loved the season but I do have two major flaws one is the pacing especially 8 and 9 and the second flaw is the new side characters and how they were used imo. You are the reactor that jinx is alive and there are three hints: powder in episode one says she dreamed that she will ride a air ballon, cait is searching for her, and in the first frame of the explosion we see a purple line going the air duct. Ecco is the mvp
I'm fine...everything is fine.
The 3 eyes raven has to do with Swain
Yup, he got them spying
10:20 couldn't know I could hate her more🤣
Moral of the story: "If you work for the biggest cutthroat companies long enough, you can cure death."
So next show we will see swain kicking ass? Hell yeah
I think that is one of his demon raven's keeping tabs on everything
Jynx when she's 0/4 on the alive dad score: 3:34
I think it was Episode 1, Powder/ Jinx tells Vi and the gang she wants to ride an airship, and the last scene is her on an airship doing exactly what Silco told her to do, break the cycle, walk away, and start over.
To quote my own tumblr post- "When i said 'maybe doomed yaoi can save the world' i didn't think it would work"😂😭🏳️🌈
Also- the emotion i felt when "Come Play" started playing was SO hype
when Jinx sets her bomb off, there's a pink streak that's only there for a few frames, suggesting she used her Shimmer-based superspeed to get out of there
we don't know what she and Ekko talked about but it did seem to renew her will to live, though her choice to make everyone believe she's dead (and implicitly ride the same type of airship she wanted to ride in season 1 episode 1 away from the cities) is yeah, i think both her choosing to walk away to end the cycle and start over somewhere new, /and/ free Vi of any obligation to her - because Jinx knows Vi won't give up on her and that that'll probably lead her to suffer more (which is confirmed to her when Vi attempted to mourn Vander instead of getting herself to safety), so Jinx forces Vi's hand, leads her to believe she's dead so she can mourn and move on and be happy with Caitlyn
Cait's knowing smile while examining the head of the monkey bomb (the same head, it has the same red fleck of paint on one of the nails, meaning they went in there to try and recover Jinx's remains and couldn't find her) is her putting together how Jinx survived and surmising that she must have some reason not to want Vi to know, and is letting her keep that secret
5:58 I love how Ambessa in-game weapons (the Twin Drakehounds) only show up in the show for a collective 10 or so seconds ...
JayVik is so beautiful Y^Y
when jinx come in with her machine gun to save Vi, now I'm think of what Jinx could say. Jinx: Say hello to my little friend mother effers.
It was good to see Chuck (the Bartender) again, even if it was a little glimpse of him. And Jayce mother as well.
all the champions that died did it in a way that they could write there return in a spinn-off. it is quite smart if they do not need them than they have there endings here in Piltover but if they do than it not difficult to engineer a situation where they can return
Except Ambessa.
@@mr.penguin79weekend at Bernie’s comedy spin-off
@mr.penguin79 nah she to can return. if she does return than it is as a avatar of the wolf a more mysticle presence.
Does confirming or denying something according to league lore count as a spoiler?
I think it's literally just Ambessa that died, all the rest have other explanations for how they could survive. Jinx, Viktor, Jayce I completely agree with. Warwick, that explosion only had one gem whereas Isha's had three and he more or less survived that explosion, barely, but regardless his body will probably get recovered by Singed who might in turn use even more wolf parts to heal him, pushing him towards his full wolf look in League. Heimerdinger's race are immortal, they teleport back to the spirit realm if they're body dies.
A great reaction to a great series finale. Thank you; I'm looking forward to seeing what this studio produces next.
Also Jinx built her balloon out of her home on top of Zaun ventilation rotor.
"Support Mel" 😅 love it.
Ambassa is just so smug these last episodes and it makes her so easy to root against! Her pride and absolute refusal to say she is wrong makes her a great villain that I love to see get what she deserves!
Btw the ship that jinx was riding on was her base so if anything happened their was no going back

Cant believe its over what an incredible story and production on all fronts
Damn Arcane may have ended but to me it hasn't
Same ☝️
Things I am almost certain of I figured out by now (I still need to go deeper into the world building to figure out everything):
1. The key to Jinx survival is that because of the Shimmer-Revival in S1 she has the ability to transition between two points in near space almost instantly. She used that ability to escape though an Airduct and then used one the Blimps to go away and "break the cycle" (like she said in 1x01 she is gonna fly in one of those one day)
I am still not quite sure if the mysterious mage is "only" Victor and if so from which point in time or if it is a new being created out of the combination of Victor and Jayce or whatever (that is one of the parts I still need to work out) but he knew about alternate universes because of Jayce's knowledge
3. My personal head-canon at the moment is that 2x07 was not only a parallel universe but also a bit of foreshadowing in which direction our Piltover is going. The Piltover in the alternate universe was shaped by Vander and Silco working together and Topside collaborating from what we could make out in that universe. In your universe we now have Topsiders collaborating and from the undercity Ekko working with Vanders ideals and Sevica working with Silcos ideals (and also her being on the council which I actually think Silco was too in the other universe since he needed to "come to the party", he was not living in the undercity or at least not near the bar)
EDIT (after your discussion):
1. I like your idea about who the "mage Victor" is. And it also still works with my second point above (this Victor never knew about alternate universes until the very end when Jayce shows him)
2. NO, I think the reason they show Vi so "free" is because she believes Jinx is gone. Otherwise she will always think and worry about her. I think the only two times we saw Vi this relaxed in the show is in this scene and in the scene in Caitlyn's bedroom in S1. In both instances Vi believes Jinx to be gone (obviously the S1 was a lot sadder in tone but she was still somewhat at peace at that moment)
3. Based on what I have heard about Runeterra and how diverse it is, I honestly hope that Riot goes with the approach of giving different projects to different animation studios. Yes, this studio did amazing work but if you go into a completely different story, changing the style of the show and it's creators would really work, keep it fresh and (most importantly) give us shows more often since a single studio can only do so much
And lastly I am just sad that Heimerdinger was not able to see this "new" Piltover anymore 😢
I don't actually know anything about LoL Lore but based all this on what the show told us specifically (which I think is a good way to look at it since the show does change a few things if I heard it correctly). I have heard someone say that when a Yordle dies he is reborn in their homeland (though I don't know if that is actually true, if it is also true in Arcane Lore, if they would remember anything from their life before and if being in a different dimension he was not supposed to be in changed anything about that). So until we see anything different I think I will believe that he is either gone or reborn in the alternate Universe and remember all the good things he did (though we shouldn't forget that he was a bit too passive at points which is one of the reasons the situation in the Undercity went as bad as it did)
Yay just binged your other reactions today❤
