Effeminism has invaded the music, the pew and the pulpit and popular culture has turned our churches into an image of the carnal world. Join us as we expose the problem and then look at manhood from a biblical perspective. Masculinity is not toxic, it is the beautiful image of God in a man!

This blew me away. I’ve never heard a pastor directly address an issue in front of his congregation without holding back. We need more men of faith like this. We need to stand up for God’s word. Well done pastor John.

@my name People can have all sorts of temptations struggles just because a person struggles with homosexuality doesn't always mean their effeminate effiminacy and homosexuality don't always go together. They can but not always. I'm a straight female who struggled with attraction to effeminate men. You could also be a straight man who is effeminate or a homosexual who is masculine. Afflictions temptations are complex and varied.

He isn't preaching the word of God though. He is preaching is shallow views on peoples appearances. You should know the difference and not be led astray. Be not deceived for This is the word of God- Samuel 1 16:7. The Lord Said to Samuel, do not look on appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees, man looks on the outward appearance, but the lord looks on the heart.

That being said, not everyman is built the same, but there is a consistent standard of Moral Strenght, Responsibility, Courage and Leadership (for fathers)
Vanity, Moral Weakness, Lasciviousness, Sexual Immorality, and Obsession/Over-reliance with Pleasures are the Biblical definition of "Effeminate".

Popular culture cannot invade the church unless individuals in church compromise and watch secular television and movies. Otherwise the church would be filled with Spirit filled men going out in the power of the Holy Spirit and share truth.

I've noticed, women Christian singers are wearing, "body contour dresses...with their breast, seeping over the top. If they have homosexual stylist, like the world they will look like women.

Its unfortunate the portrait of Jesus Christ isn't correct. The area where Jesus was born, was Judea and Egypt. Jesus skin color, wasn't white, instead it was olive skin color. His Hair texture, was curly, either brown or black. His height was closer to 5ft 8...oftentimes depicted over 6ft tall.

I'm M / 16 and I've realized since I was a kid that I'm not like the other boys. I also watched princess movies all the time and secretly played around with my cousins' dolls and I’m into music by female artists. In principle, my father wasn't really there for me. However, in the end I was aware that I did not find myself valuable enough because I am like that. And since then I've also had fatal depression and am very, very dissatisfied with myself. I also pray every night. I've always wanted to be a masculine boy and show pride in my manhood. It makes me puke while hanging out with masculine guys because I'm not masculine in that sense.
I hope Jesus answers these prayers and can save me in this sense so that I can become more masculine and happy with myself
Hiii!!! I am so sorry to hear your story and to see how self rejecting you are. I can kind of relate to your story but my situation is different. I’m currently 20 and in college. I also grew up without a good male role model since many of the men in my family are rude. I suffer from depression so I can feel for you. I definitely have more feminine interests (I also love princess movies, specifically Disney ones. Frozen is my fav! They’re just so wholesome!) but I also suffer from gender dysphoria (a desire to want to be a girl). I personally believe that a man having feminine interests isn’t sin. I staunchly disagree with this pastor on many issues. I am a devout Christian but I recognize that this man is promoting harmful stereotypes that hurt people like you and me! However, I do concede that there is a war on men and that LGBT ideology is being pushed in society. I also agree with him that social media is a wasteland which has caused narcissism in our society. I find it insane how LGBT ideology is on kids shows these days. As someone with dysphoria, I would NEVER want this to be pushed on a kid who wouldn’t have to experience it. I personally oppose the war on men. If a man wants to be masculine, he should be. If a man wants to be feminine, he should. Strict gender stereotypes are what have created this LGBT agenda in my honest opinion. Instead of having a bunch of labels, we should just like what we like. The unfortunate truth is that many girls are not attracted to feminine men but there are some out there so there’s hope but it’s harder. We shouldn’t change ourselves to get girls to like us. In fact, being more nurturing, emotional, and empathetic are strengths in my opinion and equips us to be better fathers and husbands. I felt better about myself when I came to terms with the fact that being feminine is a strength for me. A man is someone who is strong and isn’t afraid to be himself regardless of judgment from others. I believe you shouldn’t feel insecure or bad about having more feminine interests. You should be what you want to be. If you want to be a more masculine man, you have the power to do so. However, you shouldn’t be something for others. I thought about being stereotypically masculine but being girly is just way more fun. I do wish you the best and will be praying for you. Praying every day is a good thing and it’s what I do. My biggest piece of advice is this: don’t ask God to change you, ask God to show you who you are and to guide you to be the best you can be. Once I prayed this new prayer, I got stronger.

I wouldn’t take the advice that Andre just gave you. The Bible tells you what a man is for and what a man should act like. The Bible speaks about affeminate man as a sin. Not only homosexual man, but even man that act like woman or take the place of women in any way.
I’m glad that you can identify the root of the problem. A father’s job is to teach his sons how to be men. So find a church with elders that teach you how to be a biblical man, and fight against your own desires. That is the Christians life, we die every day to our desires so that we may live in Christ. Read your Bible also and be sanctified in it.

Not all gay men dresses like that. I am a gay Christian and am proud of my manhood. I fully agree about how some men are dressing and looking feminine, I can`t stand that nor understand why they would even want to look like that. Take note that the gay men you see in public are the obviously-gay ones, that is about half of the full amount. The rest of us are normal-looking, masculine men who can`t help but prefer men over woman. It is not something we chose. Our childhood was difficult but we learnt to accept ourselves and I am sure God loves me too

The bible was originally written in Hebrew and Greek. When it was translated in English a court hearing was made to change many words in the bible.
Leviticus 20:13 “If a man also lies with male, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination”. Now the reason why it doesn’t say man shall not lay with man is because of a mistranslation.
The original text was “man shall lie with boy”. This would mean pedophilia not homosexuality as a group but instead rape/incest.
I’m sure you have also probably read in the Bible about Sodom and Gomorrah. That part about the Bible talks a lot about sodomites and in that portion of the bible, the sin that sodom committed wasn’t homosexuality.
The sin was the raping of God's angels. The Sodomites also did stuff like murder and excessive drinking.
The sin was in the rape not in the sexuality itself. Today's definition of sodom is different from back in that time. Back then Sodimites were also prostitutes.

1946 explores how this mistranslation ignited the anti-gay movement within American conservative Christians. You're probably thinking what does the past and translation have to do with now. Well, you can’t really make a rebuttal when your sources are wrong and biased. If you want a real translation read a bible directly translated from the Greek or Hebrew version.
Actually it was Aramaic and Hebrew. ARAMAIC has been heavily overlooked due to the Roman Catholic Church and Constantine's Doctrine that crept in the Body of Christ. Greek was overrun in the Body around the New Testament time. Aramaic was the language that birthed all the other languages
With all due respect it goes beyond clothing and manly culture ( toxic masculinity) can be equally damaging. There’s got to be balance in a man. We must not be passive as satan infiltrates and destroys fellow Christians. I do not see anything this pastor is saying as “hate” because he is delivering a much needed warning to his flock. You may not like what he is saying, but it is the truth. Turning the other cheek is not an excuse to be a pushover, in its context, it was a symbol of Jesus’ strength over his oppressors. Jesus turned the other cheek to show that the first strike to his face did not hurt him, and no further strike would either.

I understand what you are saying pastor about men being raised by women but sometimes it isn't by choice. God is seeing these circumstances. But Many times single mothers not of choice but because the spouse passed away or abandoned . These single women were able to teach men how to love and respect their mother. Even proverbs 31 that was proverb Lemuels mother taught him. She taught him value and what it means to be a king. Look at how God used Deborah as a judge because the men were cowards.
Look at Mary's relationship with Jesus a prominent figure in his life. She was there at the wedding of Cana to push him into his first miracle.
Look at angel who came to Sammons mother and the father didn't believe she had a strong mighty man of Valor. Look at Elizabeth Mary's cousin who brought forth John the Baptist. Yes I agree there needs to be the perfect balance of God's design in masculine and feminine. Wife's should submit to their husband's. And the husband should love his wife and the wife respect husband. But women indo not believe destroy a man's nature. Or there would be no men who could become glorified in God as a true man to be fathers and husband's who happened to be fatherless. God protects the fatherless and the widow and has a tender heart for them. I am single mother I teach my son the wordnof God and what it means to be a true man and king serving in our Lords courts.

This man claims that "Pop Culture" has infiltrated the Church, well, it would appear that this man is the very victim of that same culture. Being a follower of Christ means giving up these worldly ideas of manliness and/or machismo idolatry. It means showing love and compassion for others, not judging, nor condemning. Living by the example of Christ is the only way to be a Christian.

First off "Christian" is a title not our identity. Christian is not a Kingdom establishment but a man made term that wasn't given to us by Christ.
