I've been watching your content for years, slowly building up confidence to comment. You have become the only motorbike content I watch religiously now, from over 30 content creators your channel is the only one that has stayed constant! Happy New Year to you and the family from Aus!
Thanks for all the effort you’ve put into all the different types of videos this past year. For people like myself, they really do have a significantly positive impact, which you may not anticipate. The changes that you’ve made to the channel in the past couple of months have been all good, so the channel’s future looks great. Hopefully you can get some relief with your shoulder issue and enjoy the riding more in 2025.
Enjoy your videos, down to earth straight forwards comments. Having not ridden a bike for a good number of years I decided to get one again for pleasure riding (not retired as yet) having shortlisted several bike options I decided on the Kawasaki Z650 RS, I found one at a Kawasaki dealer that was a one owner 2023 with only 235 miles that is in as new condition and best of all in my opinion in the retro green colour. Used to enjoy riding in the Yorkshire Dales as a teenager, and hopefully again. Being delivered shortly after it is serviced. Now hoping for some better weather so I can enjoy it .
For the live stream. The technology doesn’t mater, the guest don’t mater, or the phone in. Just get Mrs Flyer and a couple of glasses of wine on. Comedy gold every time.
Concur with the round of applause for the Hornet SP, TMF. Have a very soft spot for them after screaming an original era Hornet around the mountain passes for years. And a standing ovation for your good self for an exemplary 2024. Many thanks, and a very Happy New Year.
I have a friend who has a 1250 GS, and he is being charmed by the Multi Strada as well. Wouldn't be surprised if he went Italian in the Spring. Best wishes for a great 2025 ,to you and your family ,TMF!
Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year and to say a big thanks for all the excellent videos in 2024. The thing I enjoy the most is your monthly Bike News which I love to watch and listen to with a cuppa in hand. Here's to a happy and healthy 2025 to everyone.
As a happy former owner of 2 Superduke I’m sad for the situation with KTM, I hope they’ll do fine, especially for all the workers. Thanks for another great year full of content. Best wishes for the new year to you and Mrs Flyer 🙏✌️🎉
That BMW, talk about playing to an audience...nice to look at, but I think they need to go speak with Honda. It really is well past time manufacturers done something to bring biking back to where folks consider it as a first mode of transport rather than some luxury toy for weekend coffee runs. Ok, rant over, thanks for all the content this year bud, very enjoyable! All the best to you and your family for 2025 👍
I remember a time when a £7000 was considered on the expensive side, now it's considered a bargain!

Yep my gsxr1000 k8 was £7600 brand new with arrow cans included! Honda won’t be able to build the cb1000 hornet fast enough. I hope the other manufacturers realise their pricing is ridiculous and follow Honda.
Thanks for all the great reviews in 2024, I´m definitely back for more in 2025 ;) Happy new year to you as well as all fellow bikers around the globe..
I love "Bike News", please don't stop doing these. That Hornet is a bargain, Honda are literally giving them away. For context 30 years ago a 600 bandit was £4,400 brand new. It's a cheap as chips. 😊
I don’t know why i enjoy bike news so much, it’s a bit of a strange concept really but i enjoy every single one haha thankfully I’m not alone. Cheers for all the video’s throughout the year, looking forward to next year already 🫡

You have already banked plenty of good-will so I'm sure your audience will work with you to help develop the phone-in programme.
Got the original Speed Twin like you and I love it. The new one seems much improved but I keep mine as its flawless. We’re going to age together Cheers
Thanks for all your hard work testing & reviewing the bikes throughout the year your videos are always top notch & very entertaining. Happy new year to you and Mrs Flyer. Best wishes Richard.

Good morning from Wisconsin. Thanks for the Bike news update. Not much news here in the U.S about the brand named "Voge," so much appreciation to you as I learn about that brand and the models All the best for now. Happy New Year Andy! Cheers.
Happy New Year, Andy, to you and Mrs. Flyer when it comes. Thanks for entertaining and informing me throughout the past year on all things biking in Flyer World [ from everywhere you have been ] I dont know where you find the time ! Looking forward to your broadcasting next year. 👌
It's been an interesting year as far as bikes are concerned, not so much world events! 😬 I think next year will be even more interesting, hope better value bikes keep coming. Thanks for all your excellent input Andy, and happy new year mate. 🙂
Dear Andy, 3 weeks ago I was 21, well thats what it felt like. Last month I really was 65, who said you can't time travel. I blinked twice and this year has just about gone. Looking forward however to some sunny days this summer to pop into the memeory hard drive. All the best to you, your loved ones and all of the MissendenFlyer tribe. I hope 2025 is a good one, an early Happy New Year wish to all. I wonder if KTM regret not getting involved with the Long Way Round?.
At a time when the Chinese and Honda are offering excellent bikes at a reasonable price the likes of BMW, Ducati and Triumph seem to be on the opposite track. Who will come out on top in 2025 and who will join KTM, now there's a thought.
When I was in China, architects there specified Italian tiles for a hotel/ department store, within 6 months the glaze on the tiles had worn off, after an investigation, they were proven to be be Chinese copies. The problem is there is a lot of parts in a bike, any fakes in the system would be a catastrophe.. 🇨🇳
Far, far worse when you dig into Chinese fakes that make it into the aerospace industry. Small things like Mil. spec. hardware and other parts like turbine blades in a jet engines.
Hi Andy. Just had to pop up a comment to say Happy New Year to you and Mrs Flyer. My twopennerth would be about retro machines, my old TDM is twenty two years old! Happy New year to you and yours's! Thank you for all the hard work that you put into keeping us informed and entertained. It must be hard too to read some oddball derogatory comments. Nothing like this can ever be for everyone, by its very nature. Why they can't keep their negativity to themselves only informs the rest of us of their character flaws. Keep up the great work Andy and of course Carole. Health and Happiness to you all.
Yet again, an absolutely great video. I love them all, biker scram, test rides etc, but the Tour Videos are my favourite. Thank you very much for 2024 and looking forward to 2025. Wishing you and Carol a very happy new year🥂
Thanks for a very informative 2024, I have enjoyed your content and Mrs F's contributions as well. Here's to 2025, may it be good for you both and look forward to the new reviews.
It makes very much sense actually. X-Adv is a A LOT more feature rich and every part that goes into it is specifically for that model. Contrary to the Hornet SP that actually shares a lot of parts with other models or are shelf parts so cost of production is relatively lower and the R&D has also been spent previously.
Personally glad you can still read - your potted MCNs are great & in fact as a consequence have taken out an MCN subscription, which is a bit more expensive over here. Well done & keep up the great work!!
The new Honda SP 1000, will change motorcycle sales in 2025, including the value of 2nd hand bikes. I just hope Yamaha will follow Honda's example quickly next year.
@@TheMissendenFlyer Andy, I don't know if you are aware but Honda's new 1000 Hornet pricing has already had a positive effect. Kawasaki's new heavily updated Z900 [ I DON'T THINK YOU HAVE EVER TESTED ONE] has been re-priced similar to that of the new Honda. The Z900 does not make as much power but is more electronics laden with an IMU, cruise control and a host of advanced electronic gizmo's. So hopefully others will follow and maybe, just maybe we will get some new bikes at a more affordable price. Have a great new year and ride safe.
Expensive, ugly bikes, shortcutting build quality and cheaping out by moving production to Asia, vanity acquisitions... Seems quite reasonable how ktm ended up
Thanks for keeping us well informed in 2024....I need to downsize as my bigger bikes seem to have increased weight, as I hit 85 Ride safe in the new year !!
Have to say I remain optimistic that KTM will get through the current crisis and bounce back, I'm certainly confident enough to take a 'punt" and buy a KTM, in fact I've been online looking to see what deals and discounts are on offer ( haven't seen any super attractive deals yet) Love the look of the new BMW R12 S, what a beautiful bike, if I had the spare cash it would definitely be on my shopping list in 2025 .
@@TheMissendenFlyer Local dealer told me, they have 7 orders, then stock for the shop is 4 sp's and 2 standard. That's just one branch of a large chain.
Not only did 2024 go fast, but I couldn't believe the 32 minutes had flown by. Looking forward to 2025 as it sounds like another well planned programing is coming our way. Hope your Christmas was fine and your New Years even better. 🌬🏍🏍
When you showed the BMW r12s I thought wow and till you said £18k, on the opposite extreme the RE 650 classic looks lovely however I would go middle ground Triumph T100, T120, Speed twin. Shame about the TFT on new speed twin though. Honda Hornet 1000 amazing value for money as you say will sell by the bucket load. Cheers Andy hope you and Carol had a great Christmas and Happy New year.
Buying a KTM right now? No freaking way! Quality is so bad, tons of issues, dealers will go out of business because they had to finance the bikes, warranty will be gone as well...even the craziest discount should not make anyone buy these shitboxes. Great video by the way, mate! Totally agree with you...especially concerning the Guerilla...I really like this bike. The Triumph on the other hand is like a bike for kids.
Great review! I think the second KTM reference was about another brand buying KTM. Like when BMW acquired KLIM who was a competitive manufacturer of Adventure Clothing.
Another great review Andy ...whats your thoughts on the declining age of the british biker I read the other day so to speak the ave age is 54 for a british license holder ...this came up 6 months ago when I tried to sell/ PX my HD Tourer ...I had it up for £1k+ well below what dealers were asking for similar bikes on the net ...mine had fhdsh an only 11k on the clock and not one reply ...I then tried 9 dealers ...most were not interested as they said it would sit in there show rooms for ages as the buyers for touring bikes was so small and getting smaller every year as the biker community is getting older every year I eventually had a dealer in Stockton who was willing to part ex the bike and give me some cash back ...regarding the honda x adv I opted for the ADV350 and unlike a lot of people will tell it like it is just like ya self ...so 6 months on ..its a bike I would never ever consider in the past its a scooter for gods sake ! how many time have we said that over the years to each other ? but as with most things you need the right tool for the job and if you can get over the looks go for it ...I personally hate shrouded handle bars an a few other bits ...but the ADV 350 reminds me of my BMW GS1200 when sitting on it without the weight ..most bikers nower days dont on the most part go all over the place are older ...so for me the ADV is ticking the right boxes an keeping me on the road as am getting older .....by the way there used to be 12 of us back in the day mostly couples and we went every were ..now there's me an the wife ...2 of them have bikes in the garage the rest have a tv ...
The Retro BMW does look nice mate BUT to me look’s quite familiar to Triumphs original ( Hinkley built ) 900 Thunderbird sport triple , a beautiful looking bike IN THE YELLOW , with same upswepted pipes - like the BMW and wheels very similar. That s a classic bike mate , the sport had a 6 speed box , twin disc front end , comfortable upright riding position and around 80 HP, and great 👍 triple sound ( in a few years they will be worth heaps )

Enjoy your monthly update. Hope KTM survive. For me right now, I wouldn't touch one with a 39 and a half foot pole.
I like KTMs but the premature cam wear issue has really put me off.
I've always felt that KTMs were bikes that other people rode.
My go to bike channel. Keep up the good work sir!
Thank you
Have to say I remain optimistic that KTM will get through the current crisis and bounce back, I'm certainly confident enough to take a 'punt" and buy a KTM, in fact I've been online looking to see what deals and discounts are on offer ( haven't seen any super attractive deals yet) Love the look of the new BMW R12 S, what a beautiful bike, if I had the spare cash it would definitely be on my shopping list in 2025 .
Happy new year Andy and the lovely Carole❤
...and to you....
Think everyone is going to buy a Hornet.. Im tempted too for a channel project! 🙌
I think demand will mean they're hard to get hold of!
@@TheMissendenFlyer Local dealer told me, they have 7 orders, then stock for the shop is 4 sp's and 2 standard. That's just one branch of a large chain.
Nice review Andy… really enjoyed the videos over 2024… Thanks and well done 👍
Thanks 👍
Thank you for your contribution to my 'old age' enjoyment. Still biking after 56 years when the weather permits !
Our pleasure!
Hi Andy, the XDV does have under seat storage. All the best for 2025 🎉
Not only did 2024 go fast, but I couldn't believe the 32 minutes had flown by. Looking forward to 2025 as it sounds like another well planned programing is coming our way. Hope your Christmas was fine and your New Years even better. 🌬🏍🏍
Morning Andy alarm just went off. enjoying my 101 wild turkey coffee.😎🚬👍 PGH Pa🏍
Another great video has always Andy and carol 👍
Thanks 👍
When you showed the BMW r12s I thought wow and till you said £18k, on the opposite extreme the RE 650 classic looks lovely however I would go middle ground Triumph T100, T120, Speed twin. Shame about the TFT on new speed twin though. Honda Hornet 1000 amazing value for money as you say will sell by the bucket load. Cheers Andy hope you and Carol had a great Christmas and Happy New year.
Cheers Dave!
Cheers TMF. Best wishes for 2025 🍻
Same to you!
Thanks for that - interesting reading!
Happy new year to all the flyers🎉🎉
And to you....
