Just found your channel today. Really enjoying the work as I work thru your vids as I’ve already watched several now and trying to go in order. I’m also a DIY car guy out of my garage so I’m really enjoying seeing you work thru this ‘55 on a budget. I’m also a big squarebody fan so I enjoy seeing the GMC in the background lol Keep up the good work 👍🏻

Very cool Rob. It's nice to have that old fender for replacement parts that's for sure. Those aftermarket replacement parts probably don't fit as well. Keep up the good work Buddy.

Nice job man. That's a ruff area to work and you did a great job. I also love the train, I grew up with train tracks at the top of my road. Have a good one Buddy 👍

My fenders look exactly like those rivits and all. I got a 10lbr of wire a few weeks ago 65 bucks at tractor supply. Used to be 25 bucks. Aaron went up.

Mistake many make including myself with welding in a cap. Fit the bucket, headlight ass. and bezel in to make sure the trim bezel fits properly to the upper fender cap roll. Mine is 3/8ths inch off on hood side .Yours looks good headlight and bezel fitment should be checked to insure this often missed alignment. Looks like nice weather there keep up the good work....

Your metal work is always on point!!!
I’ll be looking back on these videos, I’m sure a lot, when I start working on my fenders.
What gauge wire do you use?

Make sure your using your headlight bezel and light bucket to help line up all that before welding it totally.

Don't need to since I used an original fender cap. The bucket holes were used for measurements

Coming along. Are you using .023 wire?
