Ride along in an L-39ZA Light Attack Jet!

- Come with me for a ride in the L-39ZA. The L-39 Albatros was designed in the 60s as a replacement for the L-29 jet trainer. The L-39ZA shown here is the light attack variant with a 23mm gun mounted on the belly, four hard points on the wing, and structural strengthening. This flight was a cross-country conducted under instrument flight rules (IFR) so no crazy aerobatics this time. Hopefully I’ll have another video of that out soon!
Underrated channel!
Yes very very underrated channel
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I love getting comments like this. Am trying to grow the page so watch out for more stuff soon 👀
@@jackschneider17 I just subscribed, keep up the good work 👍
How do you not have 1 000 000 subscribers
It’s properly rated
That go-pro mount deserves a medal! ☝️🧐
That's our plane 🇨🇿🇨🇿 🥰🥰
An amazing aircraft
No it's my plane
Jasně že je naše!
A lot like the Antonov An-2, the aircraft was always there when you needed it
Yessir, i think we still have som in Slovak air force as trainers
Lovely to see it with Czech lion and national colours.
That go-pro has the strength of the gods
This is like my ultimate dream and I can finally see it from a first-person view. I know I'll never get to fly like this, so thank you so much!
Yes you will.
@@Simonjose7258 Awe, thank you for your kindness. You made me smile.
No she won’t💀
@@user-yw2ud8rm1z The only thing stopping you is your 🧠 .
@@clittle1559 Well, that and I broke my back and lower leg. The military said no thanks to me. Lol
How is your jet coming along? Need to see some more of it
Pretty Dam cool, as many Hornets as I fixed, learned to start, Perform Flight control checks, I never got chance to get flight in one, early 90's FYI enlisted Mechanics were allowed to taxi A/c to end run for High power run-up. but would believe some moron tried take off in one. didn't go well. ruined 30 mil jet soon after built very expensive building to do high power runs in them. love the flight.
Man that’s so freaking cool! I have to admit, if I was in your position, I wouldn’t been so tempted… 😂
@@jackschneider17 we no longer can "NAVY" taxi A/C but we can still do maintenance run-ups with several chains 6-18 depending on % of engine run up. on air base. rarely do afterburner test get done outside hush house. Except on Aircraft carrier. do them on flight deck when installed in A/c or aft ship from Mech shop. but the flight deck we use this chain that is like 150 lbs. for "Hold Back" thrust. all cool stuff. one Qual i didn't get. had all the others (out side normal rate) so was a big deal.
wait! isnt that L-39ZA from CZECH REPUBLIC ( 1:44 cuz on one side of pilot cocpit is TWO TAILED LION and that lion is from CZECH )
Originally yes, should be one of the last ones built, owned originally by the manufacturer. Livery is from Paris Air Show back in the 1990s.
hi im here to say i love your content can't wait for more!
Thank you so much!! I truly appreciate it!
Super cool video. And is that plane property of czech republic? Cus it has the insignia.
Why would the oxygen gauge be labeled in Russian while all the other gauges are in English? Were all the other gauges swapped out for more modern versions?
Im very surprised that GoPro managed to hang on at that speed.
That looks like an amazing view! I hate rollercoasters, but I love flying. I typically spend all my flights staring out the window, so sitting in a cockpit with a big window like that looks incredibly fun.
It is still in factory colors with Czech lion in front. Cool !!
I came here from insta and I'm glad I did
Pretty cool jet, we mainly see hawks in the uk. But the l39 is still decent
Very underrated channel!
Do you have more details on the starting procedure technicalities by any chance?
Is it via APU - generator - E-starter?
Compressed air bypassed from the APU?
APU exhaust directly or bypassing the compressor section of the main Jet engine?
Quite a few possible solutions. I have no idea what's common, even more so with small Jet planes...
Compressed air from APU (on a L39 the APU can't serve as a backup generator, it provides only air for engine start).
That Go Pro is hanging there for dear life
What a plane. It’s wing placement makes it look more at home in a stunt show, and the shape almost makes them look forward swept.
Also, as soon as I saw this plane, I thought “that’s beautiful. What is it, Czech?” and honestly can’t believe I was right.
This plane is made in Czech Republic.
super very underrated channel
I really appreciate it thank you!
This channel is so underrated you show awesome things
Awesome! Wonder if I could’ve seen you guys on FlightRadar
Dude it's not my cup of tea on what you doing but you are doing things that UA-camrs are not doing you need to show the world what you are up too and post more longer videos instead of so much shorts I would even watch and just the 4 or 5 shirt videos you have you got over 410 thousand sub good for a hand full of short 3 or 4 min videos so make more videos young feller your doing things no one one else is which is great cause all UA-camrs are all copy each other or just doing dumb shit or pod cast I just don't want to hear a bunch of rich never work with their hand kids and all about what they go threw and most of them grew up with wealther mom's and dad's
You need to make more videos, about your project and about planes, this channel will grow rapidly...
Underchanelled rater
Amazing that a Czech/Czechoslovakian 🇨🇿 plane is in USA
This man could be my new best friend!! Where does he live?!
Sounds like Arma 3 in the start 😂
which gopro mount withstands that forces (wind/g/...) on the wing outside??
Yea, I'm curious about the pitot tube mount as well.
Love the lion and the colours ❤
DAMN!! that is freaking awesome!!!
This is soooooo awesome!!!
I would like to try it out once in a lifetime
It’s an eastern trainer / ultra-economy. Well done!
It's anything but economic
how do you buy/rent a fighter jet ? Is the USAF selling old fighters ?
Maybe this one you just had permission to fly, but in some of your vids, you even service them. What kind of a lisence do you have ?
sorry for my name being this way when i created my account my brother named it this but amazings videos
Enjoyed the video, Jack.❤
3:03 / 5:38. Is that a canon mountain underneath the fuselage?
I noticed it still has the mounting points for weapons?!
You didnt fly it because you cant fly jets lol why do you pretend you can 😂😂😂😂😂
Wow! The landing was butter smooth!!
Czechoslovakian made plane. Nice. (That Lion on the side is Czech lion)
Such a cool jet. It is literally what jet pilots in militaries all over the world learn to fly in.
Dam talk about having the coolest job ! Lucky bastard lol
looks awesome. I was expecting some stunts. But just a regular ol trip. No G's? Oh well still would be a blast. I'd like to go up with some of the newest US aircraft. Raptor etc
I like the content can you try not use the curved lens on the camera. I can't remember the actual name of the lens

1:05 How is the jet at full power and not moving?
Why meter is in Russian??
Excellent....👍👌
It was so amazing. I was feeling I am in the cockpit😊❤
The jet sounds like its me microwaving a burrito
Good video but lackluster in action
Awesome episode, I have a weird obsession with the L-39 and this scratched my itch!! The T-7 redhawk is my new favorite though
APU - Auxiliary Power Unit
Can you go supersonic in your mig 21
4:04 what a view
Why L-39 and not any other training jet ?
a friend of mine designed a jet plane that could theroleticly move under the power of the apu ( forgive my spelling, theres a reason my friend went to collage and i am apprenticing for carpentry and construction, its also 0100
How the hell did that GoPro Manage to Hold on to its dear life while going almost Supersonic 😂💀😳

Hey hi I love your content bro pls post more Abt the jet engine!
Litraly one of my favorite jets ❤❤❤❤❤
*SWEET!*
RFD 🤘
This is 2nd video I am watching from this channel, can anyone make me aware how does he get access to these jets, even can fly them for recreational purposes? This must be very expensive to pay from his pocket.
L39 is an older trainer jet that can be purchased without armaments for civilian flight at a cost of a few hundred thousand US dollars (second hand). New and upgraded models are considerably more expensive (multi million $). Operating costs are a few thousand dollars per hour.
Does it roll?
