A Week in My Life @ University in San Francisco!! Studying, Questival and Hectic Energy 😌

- I look back at these videos and wow, Jade was stressed. 😂 Yayyyy enjoy a week in my life at university in the US! This was my second proper week here at Minerva uni in SF. From studying, to exploring, to QUESTIVAL (the day-challenge which starts at 9:20), it was such a good week! It's funny watching myself navigate life here. Can confirm I'm a lot more settled and a lot less stressed (maybe) now! 😌
Minerva is this strange and wonderful new form of higher education in San Francisco! Instead of lectures, we have 'classes' (like seminars!) on an active learning Forum designed around the science of learning. This year is Foundation Year so we all take the four same courses: Complex Systems, Multimodal Communications, Formal Analyses and Empirical Analyses. These sound super vague hehe but I'll do a video explaining them at some point! Next year we choose our majors 🌟 Our cohort is VERY international. I'm the only British gal. We're from nearly 50 countries I think!!
Yayyy I hope you enjoy the video! 🥰 Through the heftiness of focusing on real life, I really don't think I expressed enough in this video how grateful I am to be here. The opportunities, the people, the city, the academics; I really am a fan. Sending lots of love from SF!! x
The jumper I'm wearing in the thumbnail was gifted by www.wearehundredclub.com/shop, an awesome brand fighting fast fashion by only producing 100 of each garment they make!
For an unsocial person like me, this looks like a nightmare cause you are never on your own...
SAME, I just want to be by myself ahaha
I'm sure all of you would be fine, because you literally have no option but to socialise. It's like flooding from psychology
i am VERY shy & intoverted. and last year in university i was living in the freshman dorms in a triple. and i survived.
this year i'm in a 4 bed, 4 bath off campus house, and in hindsight i actually kind of miss having roommates and someone to talk to whenever i want.
like i just feel SO isolated and lonely now.
so despite what you are thinking, it's actually not that bad (from my perspective)!
@@STMAGMA I'm at uni and I swear I need a lot of time by myself ahah
For every hour I spend with other people I need 17 alone
God there’s literally no personal space at all, I’d lock myself in a toilet cubical quite a lot of the time
Same, I need my alone time
Same and just cry
but, its jade that is there not you, and she is enjoying it... so whether you would like it or not is irrelavent
Dragon Fly it’s called an “opinion”
IddyO I didn’t mean anything by my comment other than my own opinion
I really don’t understand why the classes are digital, aren’t you guys all in the same place anyway
Few practical advantages:
1. No need to invest in buildings, maintenance etc. money can be spent on student financial aid, resources, etc.
2. More importantly, it allows Minerva to source the best possible professors from around the world. They can continue to work as professionals or at other academies without having to re-locate to our 7 cities
3. Speaking of cities, think of it logically, we move countries every semester, to meet that demand a model must be implemented to allow for inter-communication no matter where any of us are. Whether that be a student at another city working an internship, or a professor who works elsewhere. The active learning forum accomplishes this.
This is actually the future! More and more people are being homeschooled and taking college classes online, and after this first year they will all be traveling, so it does make sense.
@@npineapple3077 And that's why there are no actual top professors at Minerva.
I believe the professors are international and lecture from where they are.
In Germany homeschooling isn't even allowed
i love how ambiguous the names of the classes are, "complex systems" i have no idea what that's all about😅
The denotations of the word "complex" and "systems" might make it appear to be vague, but it's actually an entirely legitimate new emerging field of interdisciplinary study. Just look it up on Google! Very fascinating stuff, frontier and innovative field :)
@@chretienli6405 It's also not something that can be studied with any degree of legitimate understanding in first year.
for J24, I posted this in reply to another comment so you can get an idea about the subject:
UTS in Sydney offers a degree in Creative Intelligence & Innovation and they have units like complex systems. Here's a link to the unit outline because I think it's basically the same thing handbook.uts.edu.au/subjects/details/81514.html
@@milly4543 so it basically boils down to structural functionalism + decision theory / change management + epistemology + sociological theory? Makes sense, but I agree with you - 1st year students don't necessarily have the academic / analytical experience required for an in-depth understanding of these things (hell, I struggled with advanced decision theory through the end of my 3rd degree...). I ended up in a very philosophy-heavy poli sci program in undergrad where we bathed in similar vats of complex-for-the-sake-of-being-complex concepts and notions, and I know for a fact that all my early As were purely the result of rote memorization that meant nothing concrete to me. A qual methods class I took in grad school tried the same approach and it wasn't effective, either. I hope Minerva's approach is more grounded in reality and applicability, which would've been awesome for me, because, yeesh, no one should have to go through that again :P
@@parisetcie294 Something like that. If I understand correctly, complex systems can be approached from the social science/humanities perspective and the mathematical perspective. The field itself is mathematical so if you were wanting to understand a complex system you'd have to have a strong mathematical background. Another way of looking at it is how the system presents itself and this can be done from a social science/humanities perspective which is likely what Minerva and UTS are aiming at given the unit has no formal prerequisites.
It's a cool field and I'm sure even a very basic understanding can be useful on a personal level but I doubt you'd be able to make use of it professionally given it's scraping the tip of a massive glacier.
@@milly4543 I may be completely off the mark here, but I think the social science approach is actually harder - you'd have to have a pretty solid understanding of a very wide range of different topics, from religious studies to consumer behavior to demography to epidemiology, to be able to use it effectively, as you said. If Minerva's approach is to prepare students for this kind of analysis, that's a good idea; I do hope it's not one of those Fancy Words for the Sake of It 101 classes.
I wish I was extroverted enough to do this, but I literally hate being around people for more than a few hours so don't think I could cope hahah I might be able to if I didn't have to share a room and could just study to myself in my room, but the fact that you have to share that too!! ahhh don't think I could, no matter how lovely the people are
NNS 12 my Mac and cheese balls wont set on fire like they used to
God I thought Student accommodations in England were bad 🙃🙃 this one is so so grim. Imagine sharing a tiny room with 2 people, not having a bathroom to yourself, a kitchen between like 50 people ... that looks like a straight up industrial one too. Oh and not to mention probably paying about £10,000 a year for it 😂 rip off altogether
you should at least have a room to yourself, so you can study in private without the distractions of other people. What is someone gets sick and has a fever the whole night? Nobody would have a good night sleep; Not even thinking about security...
She's in America it's like 100k
Welcome to American college
H&N vv this is very typical at American universities. They’re x3 the price of the UK and you have dorm rooms. Yes even Harvard and Yale
Ok but this is not England... you obviously do not know how universities in the states work
I guess it’s hard to tell from a short vlog, but this seems like a pretty standard uni workload (in Aus at least). I study psych and last week I had 4 assignments due (2 major 2 minor), class chapter readings, weekly quizzes, and this week straight onto exams. I get that much of the ‘hectic’ness comes from socialising and extracurriculars too, but so many students in Aus Unis are in clubs and committees or doing internships that seem pretty similar in terms of workload. Additionally, most people I know work part time or casual too. I don’t think this is a Minerva thing, just a ‘first year of uni shock’ thing 🤷♀️
I have to agree with you. In Austria we (additionally to what you mention) have to prep after a lecture/seminar/exercise too, which is even more work. But here everyone knows that uni is more work than ever so no one is that shocked like here about the workload (although I cannot speak for all, just for those who I know)
@@musikhamster01 She took a break for a year, that's probably why she feels the amount of work is huge and her life is so hectic right now. She just lost the work ethic and has to settle into the life of a student again. I'm sure she studies very hard, but her social life seems to be more important right now... waisting a whole day to participate in that contest is not the smartest thing to do when you're already behind of your work.
@@nohana2003 ah ok. I didn't knew that she was on a gap year. I can just agree with you. Uni should be a first (especially when you have to pay for it). Taking a day of from all the work leaves you so behind that's unbelievable! I had to do that this week and it is/was awful!
@@musikhamster01 that's why people get agitated with Jade. She's complaining about how hard and how much work it is... and has yoga sessions, gatherings with friends, taking part of silly games... she says one thing and proves in her vlogs she actually has plenty of free "personal" time. Jade got rejected from Oxford, and she still seems to feel the need to prove (to herself) and her followers her Minerva experience is better than the traditional UK universities;
@@nohana2003 true, if she is happy that way she should continue. I couldn't live like that, absolutely not
This was super interesting to watch but the workload doesn't seem to be any more than any other undergraduate degree? Also having 3 people sleeping in one room seems like a ripoff, it doesn't look fair on the students 😢
Even if the workload is the same, different courses can cause certain levels of stress for some people, especially if they're learning things that they aren't quite comfortable with yet
Just wanted to add, 3 people in one room is pretty normal for US universities. The head of Minerva actually came to speak at my high school several years back. One of the reasons they do the dorms like that is to encourage the students to work with one another, especially since you aren't forced together in a classroom. I will say, there are probably some special accommodations where you could get a single if you really needed it. On the whole though, Minerva (when I last looked at it), was actually much more affordable than most other US universities. That was a couple years back though, so I'm not sure of the cost now.
Imagine me having 6 roommates and having to share bathrooms with 35 people. Well, but mine is highschool so.
@@aleishaallen4076 the last I check which is this morning, per year it's about $13.000 for tuition and $31.900 for all the stuff including tuition, living cost, accommodation, and student services or so. I'm not from us so I'm really asking, is it less than average US uni ?
Jade, I absolutely adore you so much and have watched you grow so much over the years and truly want the best for you! You're such a positive beam of sunshine and so hard-working, so motivated, which is why I'm writing this comment.
I know I can't possibly know how Minerva is since I am not at the school, but with your talents and interests in chem and bio, large research institutions would be smart to go to, for the research and fellowship opportunities year-round, practical experiments and learning, etc. I'm not sure how effective online classes and professors are for hard sciences.
I know there's the argument for summer internships, but trust me, having gone through applying for internships and research opportunities in the sciences, they could care less about how Minerva is a new school that's super progressive and it's all online classes that are somehow better than a classroom setting (?). They care about practical skills and experience that you can gain and begin through your college classes and professors at a physical university with award-winning research centers.
Additionally, as for jobs and internships out of Minerva, think about it. This school was established in silicone valley, the school is all on tech, people are taught coding specifically, this school is ONLY vaguely known in the tech industry Jade. I could maybe see this school working for CS majors, humanities, but definitely not science.
I also know that I don't know you completely as a person, just the 1 hour a week I see you on the screen is my perception of you. But I saw how gutted you were about the oxford rejection, I cried with you. So honestly can I ask you if your drive to go to Minerva was mainly motivated by its incredibly low acceptance rate and the promise of travel? A sort of, 'screw you' to Oxford, a more selective university accepted me?
I really don't want to spread hate Jade, but you shouldn't allow yourself to be blinded by this school's promise of travel and multiculturalism, most top schools in the United States have students from all over the world and provide extensive travel opportunities. Not a unique premise or promise, you just have to look. Activities and projects for 'social change and impact?' Yeah, so does every other school and school clubs, non-profits you could easily volunteer at.
Think deeply about why you're at Minerva Jade. I'm not saying I'm completely right either and you don't have to agree with me at all, I'll continue to love and support you no matter what but I really want you to look back on this important decision in the future without regret. Don't place this school on a pedestal so quickly and focus on the few things they promise and advertise as unique and revolutionary (as nothing is, just more direct marketing on Minerva's part) and consider this.
Continue inspiring all of us Jade, you're a beautiful human.
Donna Reynolds this is such a supportive comment, I hope she sees it. I wish more people were as kind on the internet :) I also wish Jade the best, I hope she figures it all out.
I hope she figures it out also, but I feel like even though she may at some point come to terms with the fact she made the wrong decision, she would persist even though it's the wrong thing , as it would be a massive blow to her ego to admit to all of us that she made a mistake, so she'll keep trying to prove that she is right.
insane logic94 I think people would be very supportive if she changed her mind! I hope she knows that
This comment is so logical. It can be hard to study sciences without direct contact with educators. I think she’ll stick out Minerva just to not look some type of way. Maybe her UA-cam channel is her future and the degree will not matter so much anymore but it’s a shame as she has potential but I don’t think Minerva will exploit her potential
i do fully agree with your comment as a third year psych student at a traditional uni who has needed all the breaks it has given me to get a foothold in the field. i would not do minerva. but i have to ask all the people commenting these things still--is it not enough for her to be happy? if she can afford to invest in a uni experience that might not be that lucrative careers-wise (which, lbr, a lot of people do at trad unis), then why not? she always says she has no idea what she actually wants to do in the future. she seems like she's having fun. it's a privilege to go to uni to have fun over choosing a reputable program but it's her life. i'm not talking about you specifically as your comment was very reasonable but a lot of the people saying this just sound jealous ngl.
This has made me definitely rule out going to a uni like Minerva. Eek too overcrowded rooms and too much time on laptops. Definitely just gonna stick to a normal uni with a year abroad. 😶😬
These class timings are pretty standard for normal unis. I get that she is just excited but she’s hyping up the level of intensity way too much. Anyone who study full time will be doing similar hours
In the UK this isn’t standard. For the majority of people’s first year at uni here everyone goes clubbing most nights and not many people turn up for lectures because they’re hungover. It’s basically tradition to only start taking uni seriously in your third year, so Jade is probably just surprised that’s all. By the looks of things from my point of view, it’s very intense 😂
Not necessarily. In the UK and in many European countries class starts at 11 or even in the afternoons. It's also pretty unusual for first years to have class everyday and go to every lecture cause the first months of Uni aren't that "important", as @Joseph Warren mentioned
Joseph Warren This is not true. A lot do take it seriously from first year in particular healthcare courses where you have to carry on everything you’ve learnt into the next years..
Hannah S Very ignorant. I go a normal UK uni and majority of people I know start uni at 9am and have uni every week day....Dont spew incorrect ideas when you don’t have the facts
@@oysterhunter276 actually no. the reading time is not something required in a normal uni before each contact session- most students go into lectures unprepared. here they need to know everything and they are quizzed so they have to know their work and the lecture does not seem to do much speaking like in a normal uni. 20.5 hours of mandatory class, inlduing pre-work per week is a lot. the amount of work she has to do seems a lot for week 2 - speaking as a former engineering student - usually, people are chilled then, barely any assignments. secondly, they are required to do all this extra stuff which normal unis do not do unless they have leadership positions, and those are not meant for freshers in their first semester. she is overworked by unnecessary BS activities
Workload:
If I'm being completely honest, as a university student, this amount of work is pretty standard. In Australia, a typical degree also consists of 4 units per semester and generally have similar amounts of contact hours as Minerva, just not necessarily in 3 and a half hour blocks in the morning every day, but rather more spread out/squished in for the day (and have a day or two of no classes if you're lucky - a day off essentially). You'll also get a ton of assignments to juggle within these 4 units so it's not a particularly unique experience that you're portraying it to be - we all know what it's like.
Content:
In a typical degree, first year units are generally very comprehensive (e.g. if you're interested in biology, you CAN choose a biology unit as a first year subject, and if you're interested in other fields, like you mentioned French in your other video, then you CAN ALSO take a French unit as an elective. And then as you progress into second and third year your depth of understanding in the major/minor of your choice increases. So the concept of doing these vague and broad modules such as "complex systems" in first year is extremely foreign to me and I am seriously concerned about the legitimacy of your course.
Online delivery:
I'm 100% sure it's another way of saying "we don't want to invest in a physical campus because it would cost too much money". Open universities do a much better job in delivering this form of education, as you can still travel the world if you want while studying...and it's accredited. What I'm seeing is your mode of study is essentially a glorified facetime with a study group supervised by a professor rather than an actual class teaching you content. I feel like you chose Minerva to compensate for your Oxford rejection when there are many many more realistic pathways you could take. I understand that you love Oxford, but sometimes you need to sacrifice your desires in order to get what you want in the end; a proper degree.
Travelling:
This is easy. Almost every conventional university has units/programs that allow students to study abroad or be an exchange student. Again not as unique as you might think. We may not be travelling as much, but most students would be sick of having to relocate every few months just coz. And the travel costs and impractical aspects associated with that is another issue!
Internships:
You can literally do this yourself. Every university student knows the importance of internships anyway so you don't need Minerva to spoon-feed you this information. Conventional universities are quite supportive in this aspect as well, so once again this is not a unique thing.
Accommodation:
Your accommodation seems really stuffy and cramped, and I’ve seen accommodation on campus that is of much higher standard than this. Communal kitchen and fridges (more like an industrial-sized coolroom) for what seems like waaaay too many people resembles more like a summer camp than a typical on campus residence. Not to mention TUBS to keep your food? There are so many red flags I can pick out just from looking at the living conditions alone. I got a glimpse of your living conditions in your other video and I’m honestly super concerned for you.
Conclusion:
Why are you going to Minerva when a conventional university could offer you just the same thing for less than a third of the price with accreditation to your studies (government subsidy) and not having to cover nearly as much living and travel expenses since you'll be living MUCH closer to home (or even at home)? I smell a scam, Jade, so please think hard about this before you regret your decision of being in huge debt with a worthless piece of paper 4 years down the track.
EDIT: Added 'accommodation' section because it's another thing I picked up from your videos.
@Dana Nja How many credit points are they worth though?
Dana Nja it depends on how many credit points your unit is worth. A full-time semester consists of doing a total of 24 credit points. So you could be doing six 4 credit units (rare), four 6 credit units (typical layout), one 12 and two 6 credit units, or if you’re doing a specialist course then it’s one 24 credit unit. These units usually has really heavy workload, often 25+ contact hours because they have the luxury of having the whole timetable to themselves so they can throw content after content at us to fill up the timetable space.
also not to mention, how do these kids pays for this degree and accommodation if they are always relocating? Like how can you hold a job? And sure loans...but by the sounds of the accommodation costs it will be a pretty large bill. I know they preach diversity, but this only seems viable for wealthier folks!
@Dana Nja so 30 + 10 + 45 = 85cp for the whole degree? My uni counts credit points differently (obviously lol) so it would be 192cp for 4 years or 144cp for 3 years. A standards BA or BSc is 3 years. The fourth year is optional advanced study or honours research. One unit is 6cp so we do 24cp per semester. All units are 6cp for the most part with a small number of units being 12cp or 3cp in which case you do less or more than four per semester. So we do 8 units for a standard load each year whereas you would do 13 suggesting that our 6cp units are larger than your 3cp units because an Australian Bachelor degree is equivalent to a Canadian one.
Ur rlly spilling the tea hahahaha true tho
This just reminded me of how much you can physically cram into a week😅 glad you’re having fun😊

I’m constantly amazed how much you manage to fit in each week!
Can you do a video on what you actually learn? Complex systems seems very vague, what would your assignments be about?
I believe she made a video about that called how my uni works
In fact complex system seems to be a course only in Minerva. In most universities, complex systems is a master, not a first year course ! It's an interdisciplinary approch used in social sciences or computer science for instance, using advanced mathematical tools
Ahhh love this Jade, so glad your having a good time at uni 😊👍🏾

I think that despite having good/ wholesome aims, Jade’s latest videos come across as though she’s “looking down” on traditional UK unis. Sometimes I come away from her videos feeling bad about myself etc - as though she has way more work than me and simultaneously does way more “fun” stuff. I had 25 contact hours a week in first year (Medicine) and I never made such a big deal to flat mates who had significantly fewer that my life was so “hectic” and I was always “hustling” because it can come across to others as though you think you’re better than them. I think Jade needs to be conscious of how her loyal viewers might feel watching her videos, especially when they attend the traditional UK uni route that she feels she is above.

Ruby is not that full of herself as Jade is, and I believe she works harder than Jade... but suddenly out of the blue she decided to change her course after more than a year in college, working her ass off to pass the first year. Maybe those girls should think what they want in life before jumping into college adventures. Especially Jade who seems to think that the equator is running her ass.
H&N vv LMAO
who paused the video at 3:26 just to read what was on the screen......loving the minerva vlog its amazing and somehow indirectly encouraging me to live my life more enthusiastically
JADE MAKES ME WANT TO BE ALIVE AND HAVE FUN! THE ULTIMATE INSPIRATION!!!!! THANK YOU :)
Jade, this vlog was amazing!! You seem to suit San Francisco so well, and I'm so happy you've found a university that suits your personality and style of learning! For me, I know Minerva wouldn't suit my style of learning, but I'm so happy for you that you've found a place that seems to suit you (at least the parts of you we've seen through your vlogs) :)
love this and love you!!! You seem to be THRIVING and it’s so lovely to watch. Please ignore people’s horrible comments. Love from London... we miss you!!! X
I am glad that you are enjoying yourself :) be happy and always be yourself ❤️
i love these videos so much !! looks amazing
Congratulations on winning Questival 🎉💛 San Francisco looks so beautiful and so sunny compared to the weather in the UK right now 🌞
You go girl! It doesn't look easy, but no degree is! You deffo look like you're making the most of all the opportunities available to you. This was a super fun video, I'm excited to see what else you get up to in SF! Keep smashing it x
I’m really loving these vlogs😍
I’m so happy that you’re happy! Looks like so much fun :)
Wow, this is like a life I crave but will never have. I just really lived through you, it grounded me
Lol I’m an Aussie university student studying science and every time she said the workload was so hectic and hard at Minerva compared to a normal university really made me cringe. Like she has 3 hour FaceTime sessions a day which begin at 9:30am.That’s honestly nothing, I’ve had classes start at 7:45am or 8am in which I’ve had to drive an hour to uni when you can just do a FaceTime literally in bed and don’t get me started on our 3 hour wet labs where we gain actual hands on experience. I’m just sad for her because she has so much potential and I feel like it’s really going to waste with this degree but at least she’s having a fun time and travelling around
@@IdrisOgunlade why are you defending Jade like your life depends on it?
JADE I LOVE UR VIDEOS SO MUCH OMG 🌞❤️
I love that you’re making all these friends! :) what a lovely experience
Minerva would NOT be for me but I'm so glad you're so happy there Jade xx i hope that you continue to be happy and also take time for yourself 😊
There are clear upsides to this type of study e.g. independence, cultural knowledge, non-tradit ional learning style etc. But there are some big downsides e.g. no personal space, expensive, don't have same stability, cultural shock etc. Its about who you are as a person. This isn't necessarily superior to traditional uni life either. It is dependent on what you want to get out of uni.
This was amazing to watch!!!
This looks like my absolute nightmare 😂 I prefer to see other people only like once a week hahah. But I'm glad you are having fun!! 🤗
Great your having so much fun whilst learning Jade & making new friends on your journey.
Those classes seem tough and tougher 📖📔📕👩🏼💻 coding ??? Integral ???but you seem to get through it all!
You are so smart Jade.
All those 6am study with me in your previous You Tube plus u past
travel logs worldwide put you in good stead 4 your busy educational lifestyle.
Well done you...but dont burn yourself out.Look after you. & rest too. 🛏💖xx
The idea of Minerva seems really cool! Pity it wouldn’t really work for a science degree
They have science degree
Patricia Honorato huh, the more you know! God I wonder how they manage to get lab practise in then
@Lea Glasnović preach
Lea Glasnović Exactly why their first Science Grads with “0 value degrees” got accepted into PhD programs at Harvard right out of Bachelors lmaoooo.
@@7dvdnvll Could you provide a source? It's unheard of for an American BSc student to move straight onto a PhD...
super late comment but OMG. Questival looks like so much fun!!! I'm honestly blown away at the fact that you're able to do ALL of your course work, homework, sleep, eat healthy, do social stuff?? Like giiiirrlll.. I run out of time to shower at night because I stay up so late doing HW and then I sleep in accidentally, missing my morning lectures and then stay up late again to catchup.. its a vicious cycle!!!
This looks like so much fun!! 😍😍😍You go Jade
Two years since you made that vlog. Your all vlogs are sooo much inspiring. I've watching all of them. Thanks for posting 🥰
Aww I’m glad you’re enjoying Minerva
you genuinely look like you're having the time of your life, I wish the courses at minvera interested me so i could apply
Wow I love how cool this campus seems to be and all the activities you get to do! Make more videos like this please :) I'm deciding if I want to go there!!
I was just thinking about "hmm, I wonder how Jade is doing" and then saw your Instagram story! Thank you for updating us, I have missed you 💛
Hmmmm but does she wonder how Johanna is doing? That's the million dollar question.
Honestly you inspire me soooo much ❤️ I really hope I could make it to Minerva ❤️❤️
like it looks incredible and I wish I could do that but I know being that far away from home I’d hate it so much! So glad you’re enjoying yourself
As an introvert, i would feel like the hell right there. Jade i hope that you would not force yourself to look happy or fine while you are not cause after spending hours on laptop studying, it will be hard to spend other hours to edit videos. Good luck with your program.
This looks like the type of place that would be fun at first, but then the rose-tinted glasses come off and you finally see what a mega ripoff it is
IddyO HONESTLY
@@IdrisOgunlade sure you can see through devices whether people care or don't care. tOxiC it seems xD. its not any little thing lol, its being critical of minerva.
@@IdrisOgunlade and before you call me ToXiC, I don't really have an opinion on her doing Minerva.
@@IdrisOgunlade Are you posting the same reply on everyone's comment who are being critical to the Minerva University?? Have some originality atleast..
IddyO hey... the truth is, with the platform that she has got, she has got influence on a lot of viewers who initially wanted to apply to Oxford because of her, but now may want to choose Minerva because of her. I understand your frustration, but people seriously need to be warned. There’s not enough information on websites for kids to truly understand what a uni is like, thus, they rely on how people document it. Comments like these matter. Other wise someone’s education may become a Fyre Festival
Those dollar bags sound great... I'd love that..
Love this Jade... 🙌
Awwwww 😍🥰😍 great video 💝 keep them coming xx
Wow this is just like a United World College but at University level. I go to College of the Atlantic, and I relate to this video so much. So fun but so unbelievably exhausting. Proud of you Jade!
Jade regardless of what ppl say about it being 'shady' i think u made the right choice. This uni has endless opportunities for personal development.
YES you are thriving!!
I LOVE YOU AND YOUR VIDEOS 😍 (your hair is gorgeous)
This sounds like my idea of a nightmare
aye your videos about minerva have inspired me to apply!
I think the biggest thing I've noticed about Minerva from your videos is how much it immerses you in different cultures more than a traditional institution.
Sis this vlog was fucking amazing, it looks like you're having such an amazing time :')
I knew I loved your videos when I liked them even before watching it to the end😁😁
