Brother, what is thaaaat? 😂😂😂😭😭😭 Like someone thought "You know what this switch needs? Some brie inside of it" 😂. Great that it wasn't waterboarded on the inside. Really thought it would look horrific. About the hot swap method. What was your your air-flow? Heard you should go lower so the port doesn't try to fly away :) Funny you ask about ambitions. I will post a video about that (kinda) on Thursday :D OH NO YOU CHOSE THE CRINGIEST THING POSSIBLE TO SHOUT ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😂😂😂 Can't stop laughing, thank you very much!!! I'm amazed with your fix, well done for plowing through that monstorsity. For the skillometer you've abandoned: Faultfinding seems to be a 9 Efficiency at a 5 since you were honest with how many times you had to redo stuff Forgot the other values but coolness is at an 11 💖
That thong was vile AND I only checked it under the scope after I'd cleaned it with IPA 🤣 Yeah i think my issue may have been too much A/F and not enough heat. I think it was 420°c at 80%. The problem came when I had to reflow it to get it flush, had heat on it for far too long. Nive I look forwards to seeing that video. Haha i thought that clip was funny and showed character so that's why I chose it 🤣 Don't worry, Skillometer is coming back. I'll be staggering it through videos!!
I would have let the solder cool down, cleaned the board, then apply heat to the solder points. This just helps make the process a little cleaner and you're a little bit more steady with your movements not having to try and quickly replace a component. Great video!
