I was super fun we do it every year with the kids, Heaphy track is not a bad trail start to take kids on if they have done some mtb before

Great video thanks! I'm looking at doing the track this year (24) and wondered if you can ride most of the track or if there is much in the way of steps? Also did the huts have gas and pots or BYO? Looks like a great trip, can't wait.

you could but not recommended, I would go for bike packing bags, seat bag and roll bag etc
