As my garage continues to fill up. I just tell my wife. Do not worry Lee told me to do it.
Haha that’s awesome. I can tell you from personal experience that it takes “the wife” a while to understand that the more inventory you buy, the more money you can make on a given date.
It took my wife a long time to stop 🛑 giving me trouble about buying stuff. She’s clearly finally on board!
For a bit I actually had to secretly buy new inventory to not get in trouble.

Love your videos! We're taking your advice and are well on our way to bookings. We don't, however, have a warehouse space quite yet and have been looking for insurance solutions / products to protect our assets in the case of damage, theft or otherwise. Can you make a video about the boring insurance stuff, what you considered when it came to selecting insurance, scenarios maybe you've had to use it and what you'd recommend to people with mid-size inventory / when it would be wise to get it? Thanks for the consideration!
Just get liability insurance when you feel that your big enough. I never got insurance until I went into a commercial location. Take an extea 10% RPP to cover damages. How were you handling your SEO when you were based out of your home? I know Google has cracked down on this and for someone starting out, a warehouse is not the easiest option.

Update on my Party hire business in australia, Im 5 months in, With around 11-12k made, i been upgrading my chairs and my crappy marquees.... got the Heavy duty marquee and ordered my first 30 Wedding chairs! Going gooooooooood need to spend some money on website designing and SEO i think i will need later...

Thanks for the update. Great to see you're going so well. In part because of your video I ended up buying some Snaplock dance floor back in Feb. I got 16 pieces (15ft x 15ft). It's only been out a couple of times but I think that was because I bought it late in the season. I've had 2 enquiries for larger dance floors. I'm wondering if 15x15 is a bit small? What size do you normally do? I'm charging $550 delivered for that one.

Hello Lee! Thank you for sharing all your progress with details. It is so encouraging. I recently started a rental business using my garage as well. I have a fair amount of chair covers, few stackable chairs and 20 tables. I am looking for ways to advertise. Any suggestions is welcome. I am on Marketplace for now. I noticed that stackable chairs are not rented often. I was wondering where I can get foldable chairs not too pricy. Thanks for reading and replying.
It is unlikely that you will get folding rental chairs for very cheap. It is worth the investment to pay full price because they will pay for themselves in the first 8 rentals. Then you will be able to reinvest and keep reinvesting. Eventually you’ll have everything that you have ever wanted and extra money to live day to day comfortably on top of the profits that are recycled into more inventory.
Also, advertising works great on marketplace when you don’t have a lot of things so people don’t go to a website without much inventory and leave due to you not having exactly what they are looking for.

Whats up man! Watch all your videos! i have a few high peak frame tents 20x20. Just got a solid gig at the beach for $2,500 each weekend for a 20x40. Only thing is they need it set up on the beach! have you ever set them up on sand? Do you think the 750 LB blocks would be good for that? Any info helps...Thank you!!

@@OmarCastillo-kh2ww actually worked out pretty good in the sand. We got lucky and it wasn’t a windy day. Used 3 foot stakes, they held well.

Have you ever done or considered center piece rentals?
Yes, we already do some centrepiece rentals. However it’s more than a hobby that just breaks even to round out the business for a better experience for the wedding customers.
