I have been watching you and other UA-camrs for the last few years while I'm saving up and buying stuff for my business I really appreciate this so much thank you sir
Thank you so much for this! We're a photo booth company based in New Orleans. Videos like this let us know we made the right decision to expand our company with more than photo booths.
Straight off the bat I’ma thank you for saying something about this I’m 100% getting one maybe two What other items are great for adult parties ? I’m I’ve been looking into getting mechanical bulls but I feel like there way better items out there
My mom's boss is closing the night club she's worked at, he gave us 16 black chairs, very nice and sleek, and 4 foldable tables. I'm going to try and rent them out, if it work I will reinvest.
This has been helpful. I envisioned and came up with a plan to start a linen rental business and from there I would grow. That was 5 or 6 years ago. Now it been presented to me again and I'm going to be obedient. Thanks for all you shared 💞
I have followed you for a long time. Very impressed with you my friend. I’m Finally pulling the trigger on some property with a large storage building that I’ll Be able to store rental items in. Hopefully I can do what you did. All I have is a photo booth right now.
What do you think about bounce houses? My original idea was a to rent out a few bounce houses, cotton candy machine, margarita machine, a hand full of tables and a couple dozen chairs. But now I'm seeing how popular tables and other things are.
50 pop-ups! That's insane. I don't do well with my pop-ups. I suspect that's because here in Australia every second person has a 10x10 in their garage. The 20x20 high peak does better for me. I'm thinking of getting some 20x10 pop-ups which not many people have. I didn't know you could get cathedral windows for pop-ups. They look good. Yes can't go wrong with tables & chairs.
Yes, they were my best level up item in my second year of party rentals. I added mine to my website and paid for my first order in pre bookings at a sale price. This tactic worked well for me also on dance floor. With the backup plan of sub renting if I couldn’t buy in time.
Really appreciate this. We're trying to DIY some of this for our wedding. I figured it would be a neat investment since our families like to have get togethers, parties, etc etc. Later on, can maybe set up a small rental business if we have enough, ya know? Would definitely be neat!
Thanks for the insight very helpful. I wanted to ask about chairs as my business is kid focused do you think purchasing a few sets plastic pink and blue chairs would move? As far as colors for chairs are black and gray plastic chairs popular?
That's interesting about the 4 foot tables. I have a couple of them for my own use but I've never thought about renting them out. What do people use them for?
By any chance are you in Houston. I’m trying to find a place that can cut wood marquee letters. I was hoping I could use the same company you used. Also, it sounded like you provided the wood. Is that true?
New subscriber here and love the content. Given budget constraints what are your thoughts on plastic tables with the stretchy skirts that make them look nicer. Do you use anything like that?
Regular linens are more popular on plastic folding tables. The pickup customers love the plastic tables because they can easily fit into a small vehicle.
Heyy great video, I have an event rental business in the Netherlands however we dont have milk crates over here, i have been searching for weeks to find a square plastic crate without succes, rightnow i am putting in the plates in a vertical position and 5 plates have already been damaged, could please give me some advice? Would be greatly appreciated!
This may be a bit off topic but when you first started a party rental business, how did you handle the legal stuff like the party rental agreement/contract? Did you have one professionally written out or did you use a template from the internet?
The idea was Christmas parties and grads. So Christmas was good for the gaming seats, however I might need more arcade machines to make a go of arcade rentals. Check this one out: ua-cam.com/video/pV2fQIgp5nU/v-deo.html

The thing about rentals is you can keep adding more stuff and each item is it’s own revenue stream!

Can you make a video about what items rent out year around And what’s seasonal? I would really love that
Thanks for this video btw
I think that’s a tough one because every area is a bit different due to weather and size.
I’d say safe bet is tables and chairs are year round.
@@therentalguy okay. That makes sense. Thank you for your response
That's interesting about the 4 foot tables. I have a couple of them for my own use but I've never thought about renting them out. What do people use them for?
People use them as side tables and through Covid social distancing.
do you sell them and where is it to see if I can buy one of those specific ones. Thank you
Thanks for all your content! Do you have any videos where you talk about where you purchase your inventory like tables and chairs?
I get my stuff from Special Event Sales.

What size tables do you recommend to start?
Lee Nother awesome video!
Thanks man 🎉
How did you sublease the chairs ?
Nice videos 👍👍.
Ty
Love your videos man and appreciate the knowledge. I do have a question, What do you mean by "Sub-rent"?
Sub rent is renting from another rental company in your area to be able to get your clients to your client if you happened to be short on an item.
Hello where can i buy the Marquees letters from? Do you sell them?
We sell the blueprints:
DIYWeddingMarket's shop on Etsy etsy.me/3FNw2IH
hi im wonder where i can purchase white plastic chairs and resin im located in vancouver bc
National Event Supply has good chairs for good prices!
Thanks again for the information much appreciated
I’m curious if one needs a permit or license to start a party rental from home?
Yes you are supposed to, but many people don’t.
How well do you do in the winter? I’m guessing it slows down but how much?
Slows down quite a bit. But if you have big tents the bookings roll in all winter with deposits for the summer events.
Are you still using booqable for your business? I love their application, but I am having crazy taxes issues with it? Any chance you can help me out?
Set up your taxes in your payment accepted or get quick books to help you. A good accountant can help you setup everything.
Where do you buy for fan back chairs?
I get mine from SPECIAL EVENT SALES & NATIONAL EVENT SUPPLY.
Do you have a permit or license? If so, how do you determine which one you need?
First off where to get a garage?
Lee good morning. Starting out with pop up canopies.. do u recommend 10x10’s or 10x20’s? Also do you allow customers to put them up?
10x10 and 10x20. Yes I let the customers set them up (but prepare for breakage).
What do u rent those arcades out for?
The idea was Christmas parties and grads. So Christmas was good for the gaming seats, however I might need more arcade machines to make a go of arcade rentals. Check this one out: ua-cam.com/video/pV2fQIgp5nU/v-deo.html
@@therentalguy thanks for the reply. I have like 10 of these and have been thinking of renting them out and doing parties.
For how much you rent the letters ?
But how do you know how much to charge for the letters or tables and chairs
You can check the competition in your area for a threshold. Here is a video about pricing party rentals 👉🏻 ua-cam.com/video/8EHDlalSoKI/v-deo.html
Cool
How big is your storage space?
How do you find clients? Thanks
Google is my strongest platform for getting customers. However, when I first started it was Facebook.
how do you prevent theft
Where are you located?
you gotta pay for the wall hahhahhaha
do you in a license or insurance to start up
You can do anything you want. You can start without, however it’s only a matter of time before you will need both of you plan to grow properly.
Are you an ARA member?
No, but I plan join.
Where are you getting your products ?
I get quotes from all of the suppliers I can and go with the best price. Special Event Sales In Edmonton Is where I get majority of my products.
