You look so relaxed and so natural at home in your COZY little camper. 😊
After all the work you did on the other one you DESERVE this one being all ready to go and ready to use!
It's quite comfortable looking and really a nice little ELEGANT home.
Also everybody has issues with refrigerators even with newer rigs. So no worries just get another one or have it fixed. I had to replace mine, that's just the way it goes.

You are a good guy! We try and do the same thing, leaving the place a little better than what you found it. Sadly, we keep one of those hand held "grabbers" when picking up things on the beach and at camp grounds or pullouts. I agree, I just don't know how folks can be so filthy and careless. When I was a kid growing up, with 4 siblings, our dad would organize a "cleaning party", assigning each kid an area. Then before leaving, same thing. This is what happens when your dad was a military war veteran, then you yourself do two tours yourself, and find yourself doing the same thing!! Before hitting the hay, the family must "police the area". Honestly, it's not a bad habit to learn or teach. Being from California myself, still living here, beach clean ups are a common local activity, and a good reason to crack a beer and meet new people.

Try a little WD40 on those stairs. That will probably make it a lot easier to use those stairs. And I liked how you pivoted when plans went awry. Too many don't show these issues when they do their videos. I kind of like the spontaneous situation. Sometimes you can find the best things that way, like those blackberries!

Alot of people are converting their hybrid cars to mini campers. It's honestly not bad, just fold down the seats in the back and you have a very spacious area to sleep. I have a chevy volt and a prius and I camped in the volt. I camped at a state park that had power and plugged it in which kept the car charged and I had A/C. I had a 05 F350, nice truck with a lot of power but it had a garbage engine. That year Ford converted it from a gas model to diesel and didn't really know what they were doing. As a result a lot of things failed, I started the process of bullet proofing it and replacing critical components but ran out of money and ended up selling the truck. I drove that truck across the country, a side from the breaking down in the middle of nowhere and wondering how I was going to get myself out of this one. I had a very good time and experience. A lot of good memories. I drove from the Northeast to through Arizona into Nevada when I started having the first issues. I turned around and started for home and made it 100 miles from home when the truck broke down on me in the middle of a toll plaza in upstate New York. Lost high pressure oil to fire the injectors, turned out to be a failed o-rings on oil rail, then a year later failed stand pipe, then a year later failing injector (probably caused by previous failures). I do miss the truck, but I was out of money and had to give up on it and sell it. About the camping trip, better to be safe than sorry, especially with a storms.

Ah, that brought back a memory. I used to make that crispy noodle dish with oyster sauce all the time. I didn’t use hot sauce though. Sometimes I’d use a little cornstarch to make a nice gravy for the dish. Get some headphones or something to reduce the ATV noise, and yes, they will go all night. And embrace the spontaneity. Happy trails!

Hey Jonathan, it's like the old saying goes you can plan a picnic but you can't predict the weather. It got really bad here in Nevada this past weekend, especially here in the Las Vegas area. We have seen a lot of localized flooding, and I too had a hard time getting out of here to go camping a few hours north on Saturday, I had to complete a few urban water crossings too lol. When it concerns trash sadly this seems to be the new norm around the country to find loads of it just left out in nature, I see it a lot here in Las Vegas also. If your in the Oregon area again looking for a spot on the coast, go to Coos Bay/North Bend and search for sunset Beach campground. There are also 2 to 3 other campgrounds in the same area. But they are all beachfront campsites. And beings that it's September it should be fairly open as most tourists have left for home. Blessed luck in the future.
