Ironically my wife and I where talking about new uniforms for me next season. Lol I'll look into these for sure.
I agree with the less is more kind of mind. Grab attention but straight to the point with the logo.
I do like Sunday Afternoon hats, full brim with a neck flap and nice and cool in the summer.

Nice! Sounds like this video had perfect timing for you then. Nice idea on the hats with full brim and neck flap. It’s amazing how my skin feels absolutely scorched after a day in the hot sun. It always makes me want to go home, close the blinds and sit in the dark to recover.
In a previous business I owned doing vinyl signs and vehicle graphics I learned from an old school sign painter I met that the negative space ie the blank space on a sign is just as important as the information on the sign. The more stuff you put on, the less legible it becomes. 😂 Thanks for watching.

@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess ironically I used to be in the sign biz as well. Although I was a service/ install guy with crane/boom truck installs. But on rain days I helped apply and learned a lot.
Funny how much our business start ups where as well with equipment too. Been enjoying your podcast.

Are the liquid titannium shirts 100% polyester?

    The uniforms are sick!
Unrelated question, I apologize: I live in Washington and have a hard time finding quality grass seed to use for my clients. What seed do you tend to use?
    Thank you sir!

Thanks for the complement on the uniforms. The grass seed I use for here in the pacific north west is from a local seed supplier in Surrey, BC. It’s a perennial rye mix that does really well here. I’d try googling local seed suppliers in your area. Thanks for watching.

@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess Thanks so much Julio! For some reason I could only ever think to search for Lawn Care Supply or Landscape Supply and those stores never had seed for some reason. Sometimes the obvious answer is the hardest to think of.
P.S Keep up the podcast, that's quality knowledge that I love learning.

Your design looks good. Most of those on the website are ridiculously overdone and busy.

Thanks. Like I said in the video, I’m a less is more type of guy. I use to have a small vinyl sign business and learned from an old school sign painter that I met, that the empty space on a sign is just as important as the message in making it readable and stand out. It’s easy to get carried away especially when the technology makes it so easy to put whatever you want on the shirts. It’s the same problem I see with vehicle wraps where people go overboard and it’s hard to read or tell what anything is. Overall though it’s an awesome technology for making uniforms stand out. Thanks for watching.

After watching your review I try this company but boy let me tell you,
    Communication time 🗑️ 🚮
    Communication skills 🗑️ 🚮
    Turn around time average
    Price is way out there…
Definitely avoid this company, not what’s described in this videos . I got 105 dryfit performance shirts with my local print business with front, back and sleeve print for $1,300 can’t beat supporting local business. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

😂 I’m just reading what is says on the tag, but I guess it’s like those metal bracelets people wear that claim the same thing. I did notice that is was also the only material that claimed UV protection which is what I was most interested in. Thanks for watching.

Any shirt blocks UV. I have never had sunburn when wearing a shirt, ever. What they are feeding you is marketing BS.

    • @LawnCareBusinessSuccess
      @LawnCareBusinessSuccess  2 роки тому +2

I’m not so sure. While I agree wearing any shirt will be better than nothing, It’s the only material they sell that claims UV protection and I’ve always heard doctors say to put sunscreen under your shirts as well and not just on the bare areas. So I guess different materials will act differently. With these ultra lightweight fabrics if you hold them up to a light you can see the light through them, so I’d assume if light passes through so will the UV rays. They sell other nice lightweight jersey type fabrics that don’t have the same claim and are cheaper so you can always opt for other choices. I know with my old shirts that are now 12 years old some of them are actually UV faded. The black has a purplish pink hue to it. Technically I guess these should not be affected. I guess I’ll see if it makes any difference when I wear them in the summer. Thanks for watching.
