Look how far you've come from the Blackstar Series One demo, signature models, pedals and amps and a dedicated space. Props to you dude. Keep gwarnin'.
@@JohnBrownemonuments You're too funny, real, but funny as heck. Still a lot to be happy for mane! Great demo btw, the amp sounds like a beast with a good set of options.
Damn!? I tried that amp out as well and it got loud harmonics, while not drowning in the amount of them in the OD channels. Making it very articulate, defined and tight. I wonder how it would stack up with a low tuning, like an 8String tho. But the low-end seemed tight enough when I tried it. Bet I will find the same observations here.
John Browne great video as always I love that amp, if you see this i was wondering if that schecter is a usa custom shop you had built or the usa version of your signature would love to know where to get it.
Hey John, love your reviews and playing ; do you think you could add some room mics in your next mixes ? It gives a better picture of the amp' you're playing imo. Best
Damn, the 50-watters were already impressive as hell for me but this is an impressive amp. Classic Browne demo too, hope the AS is starting to subside, guv'nor.
Awesome demo, man. With Blackstar launching this, I wonder what the point of relaunching the Series 1 was? Especially when they changed very little on it.
Sounds better than their solid state preamp "tube" amps. Maybe a couple sounds in it I'd probably dig but honestly, for 2 G's I'd probably just take a Revv Generator 50 and call it a day. The internal reactive load and 2 notes IR loader is icing on the cake for that thing. I feel like blackstar are stuck in the "Hyundai zone" with their brand. Hyundai started as a budget priced car and tried to upsell the market with the genesis luxury brand. The genesis cars are much nicer cars but they can't shake the stigma of being a cheap car company. It's way harder, apparently, to start cheap and go luxury vs starting luxury and going cheap like how bogner did with their alchemist and how soldano did with their jet city stuff. Hows you're back doing though? Chronic back pain crew checking in :/
I think you’re listening with your eyes. The Revv is a great amp but this Blackstar is getting into ‘Soldano good’ territory. It’s honestly really really good, go try one.
I always liked that sort of musical but dry sound like the guys from SikTh had. Someone else said Diezel and I agree it has that dry sound that’s not screechy at all. This would be a bad amp for Blackmetal too full sounding
@@JohnWiku if they called this same exact audio a Diezel, you’d probably think it sounded good because you aren’t listening with your ears, you’re just reading the names

@@JohnBrownemonumentsprobably for the best?
Man, this demo is like a concert with free entrance.
Nice to see you doing well, man.
Neural DSP Archetype John Browne
I would buy that instantly
He has a tonehub pack with STL - sadly I’ve invested too much in the NDSP space to also justify spending money with STL
Rory + Andre, go try the Tonehub demo of my pack, just try preset 001 and you’ll switch 🎉
@@JohnBrownemonuments thanks so much John!!
@@roryt1985 If you use plugins on PC you can buy whatever you want. I'm on Quad Cortex though, so PC plugins aren't for me.
Great tone your chordal work makes me forget leads
6:18 nice tune. Sounds good, I think 😊
Can't wait to finish work and watch this!
my boi practiced downpicking so much, his default head angle is head down. btw great sounding amp. great cleans for a brutal box.
I absolutely did not expect Iron Man 😂 great vid as always John! Looking forward to the next
KILLER TONE + KILLER RIFFS = AWESOME
holy shit the demos are so good
really good tone on the overdrive
Pure Northampton power, like the rugby team! 💪
Hey dude hope you’re feelin’ better!
Can’t wait for that new finish and after that I’ll delve back into amps

Tried it with a 7 and it did rule of course. Super articulate all round. Really enjoy the almost Fuzz of the crunch channel.
3:05 Fuckin hell, even sounds amazing clean with the knobs at 12:00 💁♂
Hope you're doing well man! You look good!
Are you going to tell us about the amp just below, though ... Good to see you upload and to hear Blackstar putting out good stuff.
The amp below the blackstar? VHT Pittbull Ultralead!
Sounds great
The built in reactive load is a real winner of a feature.
100% if you use it of course! Cab Rig is cool too!
John, this Schecter is amazing. Really beautifull color! New color segnature?
Correct!
@JohnBrownemonuments is really beautifull. Nice Choice!

That gaming pc looks nice

I could for sure but I always put my cabs in the stray jacket room - not sure how a room mic will help in this scenario 🤣
@@JohnBrownemonuments Oh alright 😅
Yeah he'll whip that right up for you. Cause the three other mic lines aren't enough.

The series one does sound pretty different to this imo
Sounds awesome imo. Sure is a lot of choices on there. I would be messing with it too much

Red dwarf vibes😂 back to the 90s
I said I'd do it immediately

Still waiting for this guitar to be on the market, but at least can you tell us will it be a signature model or not, Mr. Browne😁
It will yeh, this is different to the other ones I’ve been playing on the channel. Forgot to mention it 😂
@JohnBrownemonuments thanks for the information!👍🏻👌🏻
I have a feeling this guy can make any amp sound good.
The amp below this amp in the video, this amp highlights my sloppiness 🤣
A really beautiful Mesa Boogie, witch makes it my favorite bug and my mostly overrated choice of all timeless things. Namastè.
First chord and I started to hum Mastodon😅😅
just 2k 😂
That’s a lot cheaper than other similar amps
@dougleydorite it's a blackster amp and dude, most people will never spend that much money on a blackstar amp
@ $2k today isn’t that much man… sorry to say it. Inflation sucks
Seems to be pretty versatile and obviously sounds great.
Sounds like a Diezel with more clarity
The first thing I thought was it sounds like the guys from SikTh
So yup Diezel
Bruhh, not a single blacksturd amp will sound like a Diezel, but you sound like a diesel, gtfo with that crap 😂😂
@@JohnWikuyou’re obviously biased towards blackstar. Use your ears.
Amp sounds amazing.

Lol no, but it sounds great.
Genuine question, is your neck ok? You seem to never lift your head up. Just curious no ill intent. Love monuments and your work.
Ah yes, blackstar is now cool, apparently they sound like Diezel amps too 😂😂😂
They do have a similar tonality. This demo sounds better than any Diezel I’ve heard. Diezels fuzz out and sound boxy in my experience
Has your neck gotten worse bro,?
Surprisingly it hasn’t-
