Hi! I usually scratch off eBay from my lists of websites to purchase anime figures from. I understand where your request is coming from but I gotta ask. Are you looking for brand new figures or pre owned ones??
I’m talking about the brand new figures you can find on eBay. Usually when you go down on the listing you’ll see the brand, region of manufacture, if it’s used or not etc. I found a seller with photos that look promising and good ratings but when I scroll down it says the region of manufacture is “unknown” so is the brand so I’m thinking If I should buy from them. HONESTLY, I don't shame people for buying the fake one because like you said it's cheaper and most people can't really afford stuff and have to live under a budget (ik I do) plus not everyone is high class. Please keep that in mind. But people can save up!
Yes and I think for a lot of other people (like my sister and me) it's because you still living by your parents. So you can't ask for the real ones, more expensive.
honestly, that doesnt make any sense when it comes to prize figures. Most of authentic prize figures are around 10-20 usd while a bootleg will be like 6-15 usd. I am sure 5 usd more wont make anyone more poor. If you call prize figures high class, u dont wanna know how much scales are worth.
@@unibell3298 Depends some og miku figures cost around 200 zł (52,92 USD) ( offers i saw) and fake were 8 zł (2,12 usd) soo yea but most important thing is being happy with ur figure fake or not
@@bun220 I think you maybe might not know where to find cheap prizes, because 50 usd for a prize is way too much. I might have a bootleg of the Sakura miku- it doesn’t have all the defects shown in the video, but the stand looks like the bootleg one in the video ;-;
Well if you're okay with then I guess it's fine 🤔😊 but yeah. I never buy figures from Amazon or eBay. I stay away from those sites to avoid ever purchasing bootlegs intentionally or accidentally 😩
So, I got a combination of both Sakura mikus technically. Base: Fake Cherries: Fake Face: Real Outfit: Real(?) Hair: Real(?) Shoes: Fake Details: Fake(?) Size: Fake Other than that, it looks perfectly fine. At least I know what the real one looked like though, it wasn’t so different after all.
I just bought my first scale figure because my old bootleg figure at my desk is really distracting especially its crossed-eye and crooked smile 😂. Will definitely buy a miku figure in the future. Shes really cute.
Haha I can't with your description 🤣🤣 i could only imagine and yes I would be distracted as heck too. I hope you share your experience with us once you get to buy your authentic Miku 🤗
I got the bootleg sakura miku as a gift but it looks like basically identical to the real one you showed besides being smaller and having the wrong base sooo im happy with it
When a bootleg is given as a gift, I personally believe it's priceless regardless if it's fake. Gifts are given with emotion along with the sentimental value so if you're fine with it then that would probably make the giver happy as well 🤗
OMG FINALLY I COULD COMPARE MY BOOTLEG SAKURA MIKU!! XD I have a bootleg Sakura Miku but it seems that this isn't really known to the public because I was questioning for a long time if it is a bootleg or not because: Even though it's a bootleg... It is a good bootleg??? It looks really similar to the original one. I could send you picutes if you want to see~ ^^
Differences: - No carvings in the base (biggest hint it's a bootleg) - The hair fades more like into purple? Hair is generally more purple than the clothes - Came in a plastic bag and probably broke her leg during transportation - Also had the white thing like the bootleg in the video and also the flowers look like the ones of the bootleg Things that are better at this bootleg than the one in the video: - Her face is different to the original but it still looks cute - She has all the little details of the original (her number, the things on her sleeves, even the little white things on her knees) - She has some slight issues of painting but they are not that bad
@@JennySupremo I'm not completely sure because my mother got it for me for Christmas. It was kinda my first figure. I think it was something between 10€ and 15€. But I definitely know that she got it from Ebay.

Recently i bought my first hatsune miku figures! One of tuem was the 2019 sakura figure ( the one in your vid) i watched this video and looked out for the mistakes i saw in the rewiews. Someof the rewievs showed the real gigure but some others showed a fake. I was confused so i still bought it, i hope its alright when it arrives!
I'm actually slowing down on pre orders for the Sakura Miku. Taitos Sakura Miku releases are making me feel ripped off because of the difference between the promotional photos and the actual products haha
I bought one of the Easter Bunny ones off Amazon, the listing was of the real one but I received a fake. It didn't look nearly as bad as the fake you got and was close to the real but I know it's fake as the box wasn't branded at all, neither was the base, and it came with a second face you can swap. It was also extremely difficult to get in the base cause they didn't size it right. Only reason I'm keeping it is because it was cheap and is not terrible.
i got the bootleg easter bunny miku just bc i had extra amazon money and i was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looked, there are some minor flaws of course but other than that i was super pleased with how decent it looked lol
I intentionally bought a fake (i have figures on a high shelf plus my wallet was hurting after buying a bunch of other figures lol) but I'm so glad it looks a lot more like the real one than that fake, gotta say that's probably one of the worst counterfeits I've seen
I bought a bunny one on a small shop in my mall that looks exactly the original, with the exception of the base and the head that pops out, it feels very good too That shop had a few other and they were all exposed, maybe it was already used and damaged but idk, looks good either way
I havent seen any bunny Miku that has a head that pops off --yet(?) I cannot confirm if it's real but maybe you got a high quality knock off figure. 🤔`
I usually only collect the unique mikus, like I have the racing miku in chair and nurse outfit one with pills. My most recent was bi cuties with the white stockings. She goes well with super sonico
I constantly watch you're vids and they are so cool! I'm planning to collect nendoroids bc they are fun and safe! My baby sister constantly comes over and if a resin statue falls on her...........it won't be good
True. Resin statues are easy to break and heavy. With no proper place to keep them, added with kids possibly roaming around near them, I don't think it would be a good idea to collect such heavy figures.
Would you be willing to do a real vs fake of a nendoroid doll? I find your videos very helpful and I’m looking into getting one but I’m just too nervous!
Thank you for suggesting! I originally did not think about it but now I might. Maybe soon. I unfortunately don't have any Nendo doll in my possessions. When I get a spare I'll try 🤗
Can you do a review of the winter version of Hatsune Miku figure(3rd season)? i'm planning to buy one and i don't really wanna waste my money on a fake one
Unfortunately I don't have that Miku in my collection too but if I see one I'll try and make a video. So far I have not seen any fake for that figure yet tho 🤔
Okay so i actually don't know if my spring bunny miku is a bootleg or not the stand is sakura shape and not like the one you had but yet her hair and colors and everything are clean i even tried to take part some of her accessories and nothing came off soooo help me i don't actually know...😭
I get a lot of comments like this and tbh IDK if there are other versions of this figure that may have a different base T^T but maybe you just got a better quality bootleg. Unless, like I said, there are other same figures but different base that I did not know :(
i bought my figures off aliexpress, i knew that most of them or all of them would be fake, however i did look at reviews tosee if other people got the figure and it was up to my standards and worth for what you buy, i just assumed that my miku figure was fake because of some things i thought were mistakes only for it to pop up on real figures, this whole entire time i did have a real figure, btw i didn't have a box which is how i usually tell if it's fake or not and since it didn't come with it i just thought "yeah it's 100% fake, but she's so pretty!''
I was wondering if you were able to get the Taito Winter v.3 Miku that released a few months back? I would love to see what you thought of it if you did get one! I tried to get one myself via preorder but they were all sold out apparently, lol
Same. I wasn't able to get that on pre order too. I unfortunately missed it and my supplier doesn't have extras of that figure. I believe it has 2 color variations but I like the purple one Better. It's more eye catching 🤔
That is funny, because I bought the Easter Miku Figures at March and when I got it, I knew that it was a fake. I'm still keeping it because it looked nice.
Thank you, I’ve grown a VERY persistent liking to these mikus ahh and now I want one so badly, thanks to your help I’ve been able to avoid potentially looking/being interested in buying bootleg mikus, it helps a lot that I love both the Sakura Miku and the Spring Easter Bunny Miku, thank you so much, I love how high quality they look, I think I’ve found what seems to be authentic ones, they are both under $100 but aren’t far from being there, the Spring Easter Bunny Miku I found is $97.92 and, the Sakura Miku I found was/is $86.39 cents!!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I look forward to hopefully having one of my very first mikus someday!!!!!!
Pretty much what you said at the end of the video, with these figures specifically the bootleg and authetic don't even have that big of a price difference, especailly when purchased second hand! It's much more worth it to get the real ones, save the money for them, in the long run it's more worth it, especially if you wanna get further into the hobby. You'll just regret buying the cheap ones. I won't tell people what to do, if they get the bootlegs and like them, then hey that's great! But I can imagine how painful it'll be for someone later down the line when they start getting some real nice statue figures and place them beside some fake, cheap bootlegs. Reselling bootlegs is also much harder, so you'll just be stuck throwing them away if you don't wanna keep them. It's best to save that money.
T R U T H . this is why as much as possible, I encourage newbies to buy authentic figures than the cheap bootlegs. I once went through the horrible experience of buying a fake when I had no knowledge about it before and I really had no choice but to throw it away when I started collecting real ones because it was 1. Already literally not good to look at. Over time, it leaned so much and most of the parts broke -on its own. And 2. It didn't feel good to have bootlegs next to real figures. Lol. It irked me somehow haha. Just me being petty I guess
I got the same figure that you got with the same plastic bag and I felt so bad I got scammed I think I got the same one as you I got it from Amazon the the picture was the authentic one but the one I got was fake it look like the exact one you have!
If they use stock photos/official promotional photos despite being posted on Amazon, there's a big chance they're fake. (┛◉Д◉)┛彡┻━┻ I'm sorry you had to experience buying and receiving a bootleg. Can you get a return or refund somehow?
I bought the bootleg Easter bunny Miku figure, at that time I didn't knew it was fake bc the cover photos were really nice but when it got here I got really disappointed, but I am an artist so I made changes like making a new basket out of polymer clay and painting over the face to make a new cute one
I just bought my first figure (Easter bunny Miku) and realised it was fake. Lol i gotta be careful next time when I buy more figures in the future. This helped a lot!
You're welcome. I'm happy to be of help somehow. I'm sorry you received a fake. I hope it won't stop you from collecting more Miku figures in the future

I was really wondering. When you bought the bootlegs did they look like bootlegs on the listing pictures? Or did they use the pictures of the official Mikus?
They had photos of the official promotional photos then at the end of the gallery they displayed sample photos it was pretty obvious already when I saw it. Most sellers do use official photos tho that's why it's always best to ask for IRL photos if you see it sold on eBay or amazon
this is amazing!!! i ordered a officially 2019 sakura hatsune miku one without stand off from fb market who sell the anime stuff today, fortunately! ^^ i still have a bootleg sakura miku off from Aliexpress for only $15 (yes its the worst one, i accidently ordered one bc at first i thought it was real one) until i looked very close to her face. that bootleg face is scrunchy and i was like “oh…well damnit” …sigh. so where can i buy a OFFICALLY sakura miku stand? tysm!

@@unibell3298 Depends some og miku figures cost around 200 zł (52,92
USD) ( offers i saw) and fake were 8 zł (2,12 usd) soo yea but most important thing is being happy with ur figure fake or not
@@bun220 I think you maybe might not know where to find cheap prizes, because 50 usd for a prize is way too much. You need to buy from japanese retailers, if you buying from retailers from other countries it either gonna be expensiver or scalped. Well, the most important thing its being happy with the figure, but i bet anyone would be alot happier spending just a little bit more on something original and not on something that 1st usually looks horrible and 2nd hurts the artist creator/companies/everyone involved with that character originally, but this is just ethics.
Maybe a controversial opinion but I don't think being poor is a pass for supporting illegal art thefts because that's basically what bootlegs are 😅
I might have a bootleg of the Sakura miku- it doesn’t have all the defects shown in the video, but the stand looks like the bootleg one in the video ;-;
Does it lack the manufacturers?
@@JennySupremo yeah, it looks just like the bootleg one in the video
Oh my 🥺🥺 that's very unfortunate. Where did you buy it from?
@@JennySupremo I got it from eBay, I think it was only about 13 dollars. But I’m honestly not that bothered, it still looks good on my shelf 😅
Well if you're okay with then I guess it's fine 🤔😊 but yeah. I never buy figures from Amazon or eBay. I stay away from those sites to avoid ever purchasing bootlegs intentionally or accidentally 😩
So, I got a combination of both Sakura mikus technically.
Base: Fake
Cherries: Fake
Face: Real
Outfit: Real(?)
Hair: Real(?)
Shoes: Fake
Details: Fake(?)
Size: Fake
Other than that, it looks perfectly fine.
Like seriously though well done even for a video I wouldn’t spend money on that which shows that you actually care about what you post:)
Thank you so much for appreciating 💕💕
YAYY U POSTEDD
Thank you so much for these videos! they are so helpfulllll
And thank you so much for dropping by~ 🤗🤗
thank you for this !! your videos are really soothing and calm and i really like how you are straight to the point, keep up the good work xD
Thaaaankkk you so so much. 💖 Another dose of motivation. Arigatou
XD
I have a bootleg Sakura Miku but it seems that this isn't really known to the public because I was questioning for a long time if it is a bootleg or not because: Even though it's a bootleg... It is a good bootleg??? It looks really similar to the original one. I could send you picutes if you want to see~ ^^
Differences:
- No carvings in the base (biggest hint it's a bootleg)
- The hair fades more like into purple? Hair is generally more purple than the clothes
- Came in a plastic bag and probably broke her leg during transportation
- Also had the white thing like the bootleg in the video and also the flowers look like the ones of the bootleg
Things that are better at this bootleg than the one in the video:
- Her face is different to the original but it still looks cute
- She has all the little details of the original (her number, the things on her sleeves, even the little white things on her knees)
- She has some slight issues of painting but they are not that bad
How much did you buy the bootleg for if you don't mind?
@@JennySupremo I'm not completely sure because my mother got it for me for Christmas. It was kinda my first figure. I think it was something between 10€ and 15€. But I definitely know that she got it from Ebay.
The same price as the authentic one 🥺
@@JennySupremo Yeah kind of a RIP for me but it's not my only bootleg and also not my worst bootleg so I can live with it. I'm not that far into collecting and it also took a while till I knew that bootlegs even exist. All bootlegs I have were presents from my mother so I can't be really mad. But I've done some research so I can tell my mother legit websites were she can get me figures~
Thanks so much :D! I bought my first ever figure today and it was a 2019 sakura miku, and I just wanted to make sure it was authentic. Tysm :)
You're welcome. I'm glad my video helped you identify your figure's authenticity ☺️

Samok kaayo. Kapila ko retake Kay sige panghilabot 🤣🤣
Recently i bought my first hatsune miku figures! One of tuem was the 2019 sakura figure ( the one in your vid) i watched this video and looked out for the mistakes i saw in the rewiews. Someof the rewievs showed the real gigure but some others showed a fake. I was confused so i still bought it, i hope its alright when it arrives!
im starting to buy miku figures and these videos really help, thank you!!!!
You're welcome. Thank you so much for dropping by and I'm glad the video helped you somehow 🤗
Take a shot every time she says "Sakura Miku"
lol, love the video btw
Probably ded since I say that a lot haha
@@JennySupremo 😂
I really love these type of videos, you deserve more subshuaousho
Thank you Andrea~ that's so sweet of you 🤗🤗
where did you get the authentic mikus? anytime i go looking for figures i always see those as listings, but they always look so suspicious 😭
I bought it years ago from a shop named Phantom Dibs. However, I don't see these Mikus on hand atm
✍️ always look at the base ✍️
Y E S 💯💯
Yes I agree. It feels so much better to get an authentic figure that will cost a bit more then getting a bootleg that's crap
Plus it will last longer than bootlegs 👌
Tbf I hardly ever see the legit figure of Sakura Miku online anymore, apart from like mfc :((
this is so true. The Easter Bunny Miku got a re run last year I think and it's hard to look for an in stock figure of her nowadays
I found mine in Amazon
Was it legit?
Btw there are two new Sakura Mikus prize figures coming out soon by Taito called Vocaloid Sakura Miku (2nd Season Stage Face) and (Umbrella Ver.)
There are a lot of fakes out there. Maybe you got scammed because the seller used promotional photos 🤔🤔
i got the bootleg easter bunny miku just bc i had extra amazon money and i was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looked, there are some minor flaws of course but other than that i was super pleased with how decent it looked lol
I feel happier to know the Sakura miku i have is a real on,but one of the pegs did break but she still stands ^^
my bootlegs honestly look closer to the real versions, just they have a harder time to get on the bases and my sakura one is slightly more tanned
Great video! Do you mind if I ask you where you got that rotating stand from? (Not sure if that’s what it’s called)
Hi Aj! I bought it here
shopee.ph/product/65241460/1681678933?smtt=0.65793927-1619913189.9
However I don't think they ship internationally 🥺
I intentionally bought a fake (i have figures on a high shelf plus my wallet was hurting after buying a bunch of other figures lol) but I'm so glad it looks a lot more like the real one than that fake, gotta say that's probably one of the worst counterfeits I've seen
This is the worst ones in my opinion too. I've seen other fakes too but the ones I got just looks nasty lol
I bought a bunny one on a small shop in my mall that looks exactly the original, with the exception of the base and the head that pops out, it feels very good too
That shop had a few other
and they were all exposed, maybe it was already used and damaged but idk, looks good either way
I havent seen any bunny Miku that has a head that pops off --yet(?) I cannot confirm if it's real but maybe you got a high quality knock off figure. 🤔`
Honestly, looks like a fun repaint.
I usually only collect the unique mikus, like I have the racing miku in chair and nurse outfit one with pills. My most recent was bi cuties with the white stockings. She goes well with super sonico
They actually have a figure with the same racing themed outfit 💗 what other Mikus do you have? When you say unique what do you look for?
@@JennySupremo Almost anything that isnt her default look. Could be outfit or hair different style.
Did you see the latest Miku 2020. I think you'll like that ☺️
I don’t even collect figurines but thanks for the info this is intresting
I constantly watch you're vids and they are so cool! I'm planning to collect nendoroids bc they are fun and safe! My baby sister constantly comes over and if a resin statue falls on her...........it won't be good
True. Resin statues are easy to break and heavy. With no proper place to keep them, added with kids possibly roaming around near them, I don't think it would be a good idea to collect such heavy figures.
Yay thank youu I ordered the sakura one and I really needed this to see wich one I'm getting :D
wohoo~ crossed fingers, i hope your Sakura Miku is legit 💖
you just destroyed my whole thought of having pretty anime figures T-T
Haha sorry I guess
I was thinking of buying the Easter bunny miku thank you, helped out a lot! :D
You're welcome Avani! I'm happy I helped you somehow. I hope you get to find an authentic one 🐰
I thought I spoke Spanish, I was already excited
I was wondering if you were able to get the Taito Winter v.3 Miku that released a few months back? I would love to see what you thought of it if you did get one! I tried to get one myself via preorder but they were all sold out apparently, lol
Same. I wasn't able to get that on pre order too. I unfortunately missed it and my supplier doesn't have extras of that figure. I believe it has 2 color variations but I like the purple one Better. It's more eye catching 🤔
@@JennySupremo That's too bad. Ah well, at least we have the Mermaid Miku to look forward to! :D
Definitely!!! I got it on pre order too. I'm looking forward to it and I hope we get it the same as the promotional photos lol 🤞
I just recently got my Easter bunny Miku figure and wanted to know if it was a fake or not, (it was fake) this helped a lot! Thank you ^^
You're welcome. It's unfortunate you got a fake. :((
That is funny, because I bought the Easter Miku Figures at March and when I got it, I knew that it was a fake. I'm still keeping it because it looked nice.
hello! i might be getting a miku figure on amazon and i was just asking are 15 quid ones bootlegs bc i got a 15 quid amazon voucher
15 quid is expensive for a fake figure tbh. O_O) How was your purchase? Were you able to confirm the authenticity?
can i ask you something it fine even to get fake figurine ? im poor and i buy almost evrething with mine money .
Hi! Sorry for the late reply. I hope you didn't buy any of those Mikus yet. The prices are too expensive!!!
@@JennySupremo All good! I haven't yet! Thank you so much for letting me know! :))
Whoa, you have the mlp bishoujo figures!!
Yes I do 🤗 I plan to complete them hshs
I got a bootleg on the sakura one but it has all details on point, only difference is the eyes, its brighter abit and the boots on the bottom r white
The Easter Miku: looks happy
Bootleg Easter Miku: *looks mad*
or someone who wants to murder a person but keeps an awkward happy face haha
I recently start collecting Hatsune miku figures. Hopefully one day my collection would be as amazing as yours TwT
Cry in broke~
I'm sure you can!! Keep that passion 🔥🔥

I'm sorry you had to experience buying and receiving a bootleg. Can you get a return or refund somehow?
Aww such a shame ppl try to rip us off with fake figures when they are usually so cute :(
Ikr!?! Can't believe these people take away the hard work of others and produce this kind of crap 🤷🏻♀️
THIS IS PERFECT! I got the sakura one, and I'm getting the bunny so honestly perfect timing!
Hi Maya! Thanks for dropping by~ 🤗 I hope the video helped you somehow
Awee the miku figures is so coot!!

hello!! thanks for doing a comparison video. i just saw a scam miku 🤣 glad i didnt get it thanks !
I bought the bootleg Easter bunny Miku figure, at that time I didn't knew it was fake bc the cover photos were really nice but when it got here I got really disappointed, but I am an artist so I made changes like making a new basket out of polymer clay and painting over the face to make a new cute one
That's cool! Not everyone can do that tho but buying the bootleg, and managing it to look better is a cool thing to do! 👏👏👏
I just bought my first figure (Easter bunny Miku) and realised it was fake. Lol i gotta be careful next time when I buy more figures in the future. This helped a lot!
You're welcome. I'm happy to be of help somehow. I'm sorry you received a fake. I hope it won't stop you from collecting more Miku figures in the future
omg ur underrated!
Thanks Naomi 🤗🤗 that's heart warming tbh
I have the same Sakura Miku, the clothes, hair, legs, and everything is ON POINT but the face is a little different (not bad tho) and the stand is smaller, confusing
У меня есть Сакура Мику поддельная. Я купила это за 100 рублей, которые мне друг дал :). Ради неё на другой конец города поехала и купила там же поддельную касугано сору в чёрном кимоно и веером.
I recently bought my first figure..I chose Taito room wear Miku. I adore her and she wasn't expensive!!
I considered buying a bootleg but the faces are ugly!! Im glad I bought a real one. Its a false economy buying something cheaper that doesn't make me happy to look at.
I want an Easter Miku next.. I do hope to have a scale bunny figure one day.
^^ i still have a bootleg sakura miku off from Aliexpress for only $15 (yes its the worst one, i accidently ordered one bc at first i thought it was real one) until i looked very close to her face. that bootleg face is scrunchy and i was like “oh…well damnit”
…sigh. so where can i buy a OFFICALLY sakura miku stand? tysm!
I don't think there's someone who's selling just the Sakura Miku stand alone, unfortunately :(
