Hi Nina! I love your Moleskine! We have two daughters, and when we got married that was always the plan - to have two children. But I also had a very difficult 1st pregnancy with complications, so we also had that ‘one and done’ feeling. However, I did much better with my second pregnancy. I’m also an only child, so I can kind of see things from both sides. My girls are now grown and I am so happy that they have one another, especially as my husband and I get older. I did actually love being an only child, and never felt spoiled or any of that. My parents found a great balance. Hi. From my opinion, there are way more benefits to 2 or more instead of just one and done. It can feel easier for you after the second is part 9 months. But the benefits for your son and the new child can literally last 90 years. One thing i noticed a lot was first child stopped being so "special or spoilt" too, less focus helps prepare for life where we aren't always adored like we were by our parents. Best of luck.

I bought myself the hard cover 18m daily large a few days ago, the paper seems the same as last year's and the highligher writes smoothly and with no tooth to it. I wouldn't like it at all if they decided to change the quality of the Moleskine paper I am loving so much.
Probably not every journal but a couple of people already fell the paper different in the new journals. 😟 Hope the pocket one will be with the old paper .
I have 4 kids. My youngest is 12. I guarantee you will miss this time when your kid is young, so make the most of it. Small kids are a lot easier that older ones.
