Nice video, good to see a properly attired truck driver. Old tea shirt with battery acid holes, jeans with that addition patch on the legs, and them frayed cuffs at the bottom. Best thing in this video, I think I got this right, is shifting without the clutch. Also helps to have headache pills in the ash tray. Nice work.
Daniel Boone's Logging videos Keep up the good video work, young fellows are the key to keeping these old work horses in shape. True antiques don’t need to be restored, they need repair and maintenance. Above that they need to be used for their original purposed, cleaned up and polished afterwards, ready for the next ride and job that comes along. Put a load of logs on that K Woppah and send it to the mill, preferably, to a Frick mill or any mill of same style. Lots of nice trees along the side of the road in your video. Above all, look for youngsters who will take over when you are older.
Dude, I know the family that owned that truck. Its previous owners name is pronounced "Race-ler". They donated a piece cross section of a tree they fell to sultan and it sits across highway 2 from the sultan bakery. Driver comes in to Menzel Lake Gravel where I've loaded him quite a bit. Good dude, sweet truck.
Grandpa owned same yr same everything but it was blue wit same other colors first truck I ever drove I Remember the day he bought that truck since I was with him like normal he retired step dad bought it drove for few yrs then my younger brother got it drove for five more and finally broke the aluminum frame on it my dad had a 79 also when I was a kid he sold to a company in the late 90s in 2003 I went that company not known that he was who had that truck ask for a job driving he said your truck is number 16 out back key is in it pull it up here and come see me so ok (I've known the owner since I was about two) when I seen that truck my heart about jumped out of my chest to this day I still drive and haul logs

The 74' 359 I used to drive had the giant 13 speed chrome "sphere"
Nothing better than the way it came from the factory.

Nice KW
Damn better than my Peterbilt
Who in their right mind wouldn't want to grind gears in a classic like that rather than drive automatic piece of plastic.
you got that right !
Real operators don't grind gears
Not a long enough ride Bud! Hope to see you at OLC!
Hey I know that guy that's driving that log truck! UA-cam friends and I think I'm friends with him on Facebook!
