Fascinating. Now I want to read the book and watch the film. It's crazy what hardships humans can survive through, and it makes me appreciate what a relatively easy life I've had.
I didn't read the book but the movie will stay with you for a long time...I felt like I was in a thai prison with him minus the ass raping 😆
Yeah, this gives some perspective.
Once a year I go out in the wilderness to survive of the land to remind me how easy I have it, plus its a wonderful experience, and that first hot shower in civilization is a thing of beauty.
Great movie, incredible story, good interview. 1 question: Did this interview note that he was back in prison in the UK from 2008-2018?
Thanks, at the end of the interview Billy said he was released from prison in 2018. He didn't serve 10 years though it was 2 years 5 months
he finished in England at Scrubs or Wandsworth
London. if I remember right
