Thank you for this excellent summary of what to consider when trying to sell stock footage. I have just recently started uploading to Wirestock, which seems to be very similar to Blackbox. I'm like you, making content for UA-cam, but ending up with lots of drone footage that doesn't necessarily fit into my videos. Now I can put it to good use and generate some money. It's great.

Thanks for the helpful and interesting review! And share your experience! There are so many difficulties with these drains. It is not clear who conducts moderation there. I upload a photo or video 100 times. In case of rejection, they always write a different reason. As a result, the video or photo is accepted, although I do not change anything on it. And then it is sold successfully.

Cheers, glad you found it useful. Yes, that happened to me as well. Sometimes it gets rejected because of "noise" and then the same clip but just a different angle gets accepted... it's a little strange but in case of BlackBox it's actually humans who review the footage. And we all make mistakes and get tired sometimes. It's probably that.
      Cheers, Dan

Hello 👋 thank you for the really helpful information:) , I do have one question, on the last video clip from yourself filming a little village from far above , do you need to show a permission form aswell to be able to sell it?

Thanks for the video. I’m curious what is a good frame rate to upload the videos in? I use a Mavic Air 2S and the default setting is 4k30. But a lot of filmmakers use 24fps. I could also do 60fps. What do you think, and thanks again!

I would upload the clips in 24FPS. it's the safest bet.
If you have a "slow-motion" clip, then I would slow it down in post, and create the slow mo clip in 24FPS. That way people see how "cool" it looks when slowed down. They can always speed it back up to normal speed. Hope that helps!
