How to Play the Very High Altissimo Notes on Alto Saxophone Volume 1

This tutorial explores the beginning of the altissimo range for the alto saxophone. High F sharp and G above high C are explained with alternate fingerings provided.
Altissimo fingerings published by Jimmy Dorsey in his 1940's era saxophone method book are demonstrated and discussed in detail.
Incorporating the new notes into chromatic scales is further presented and recommended with alternate fingerings presented and the reasons why they should be used when appropriate.
Prerequisites for entering the altissimo register are strongly reinforced.
