You actually don’t need to go to the all products tab to pull up the options chain. Just click the arrow on the box you pasted it in & then click options tab & you can do everything from the same active trader tab without ever leaving the page.
Webull desktop is actually solid. Has tons of hotkeys and oco orders for options now. Not my preferred platform but it’s def solid. Adding contracts to a WL and linking that to AT on tos is useful also, for people watching multiple contracts
Great video! Any chance you mind sharing the indictor details shown at the beginning? I've been looking for good VWAP similar to your's, and those buy/sell signals are on POINT. Appreciate the shared knowledge. Thanks!
No one ever does a video actually going through the entire process. That can be done on the virtual account I would think or even as a live trade. Must be UA-camrs code to leave stuff out.
New to active trader and I am a small trader. Only trade spy and only trade 2 contracts per trade. Is there a video or explanation anywhere on how to close one of the two contracts and how to move the stop to be in this active trader pane? I cant find that anywhere. Thank you
Geeeez Matt! I'm a scalper too, and i haven't been able to trade for a long while. And i had forgotten how to create a custom template that shows on the Active Trader pulldown menu. I've been looking thru UA-cam videos for about 1.5 hrs!!! and was about ready to give up, and i gave your video a try. Holly crap!!! at about 6:12 into the vid... BINGO !!!! YEAH !!!! Thanks Very Much Matt!!!
Matt. thank you for this video on TOS. As you know, Schwab is switching over to TOS. I'm going over your videos....looking to get more into Orderflow, Footprints, T&S, DOM. I'm ready when you are !
Assuming you use limit orders for entries and exits I ask because I’m in similar are you easily filled at the price you want or does it take a while and you still get a weird entry even though you used a limit order ?
Very Good Presentation & Information. Q; On using the OCO, can I use a OCO that have a TRAILING STOP, with a selected % trail, and an open target price (for Runaway, Unlimited profits)?
Is there a way to open an options order from active trader based on position size..meaning instead of contracts...the dollar amount (Say I want to open a 1000$ position size). I know how to do this from the regular options trading window in TOS
Enjoyed the video, but scalping in fast-moving markets has a couple of techniques I'm interested in how others accomplish w/ Active Trader: 1. Quick Fills - buy/sell market certainly does that, but slippage is not desirable. Buy/Sell Ask/Bid preferred. Furthermore, when fills are difficult a 1-3c bump for a quicker fill. 2. Scale In/Out - how to add/trim # of contracts quickly. Last point, copying the name of a contract is much slower than color-linking the AT pane and sending the contract to that color. Thanks for the video.

Why do you trade SPY as opposed to SPX?
Have you ever tried this on SPX instead of SPY?

Awesome. Thank you.
You can further improve this by having 2 watchlists on the left - most effective to switch between contracts/tickers and respective charts with AT
thanks for this setup matt. i am a newbie & want to learn more from you. channel subscribed.💌

It says "STOCK" instead of Call under Type on the Monitor page. Did I do something wrong??

Or you can have a quick chart with all your contracts on screen and ready at the click of the mouse
Appreciate this one, thanks Matt.
