This is a nice setup, procedure. In Active Trader instead of 'Single' you can also define custom order, I define a target (like +1.00) and a trailing stop (like -0.20). This setting you can save with a specific name. You can do that in OnDemand too, however Trail Stops don't execute, that works only with real money.
With Active Trader you can also set to see the current position P/L

@@NityaVink In In Active Trader you trade the target. If that's an option contract then it's that. So you need different trail stop settings. 0.20 can work in a low priced option.

How did you get the "Quotes" watchlist is setup? Mine wont allow me to send the options selection to it
I'm wondering the same thing.. did you figure it out? I know this video is from 4 yrs ago but I'm trying to set it up like he does and only part I can't figure is where to copy and paste the specific option ticker to under quote... please let me know if anyone know how to do it please 🙏
@@June-ro3yo I opened a new window for active trader, set it to its own group color and send the option to it.
I think it's possible to "detach" the option chain into a separate screen, which could be minimized or placed onto a second monitor. Then, you can create "settings" or hotkeys to bypass "confirmation" and still use a market order. (I do wish TOS would allow arranging the chain at the bottom of the of the page.)

SELL TO OPEN....How do you use Active Trader to sell puts and calls? Are there any hot keys for that?
Disregard. I figured it out. You click the little ARROW to open the drop box where you enter the ticker. You chose OPTIONS. Then you can choose either the CALL or PUT STRIKE. The chart will display then you simply click SELL. A confirmation window will appear showing that you are placing a SELL TO OPEN order. If you click AUTO-SEND, it immediately enters the order and does it without the confirmation window.
Wow! Can't wait to use this on Monday. It makes me sad how much money I've lost (whether decreasing a gain, or increasing a loss) due to slow execution time. Thank you my man. You get a sub.
What about expiration dates? ODTE Contracts or weekly's for day trading and scalping?

Where can I find this work space? I love the set up. Awesome video. You explain things so clearly and love all your videos.
There's a faster way. detach the option chain, and enable trade grid (in the option chain), and choose a color for the grid, and make sure it's the same color as the DOM
and to send an option to the DOM you hit the letter next to the price.
It only takes one click, no need to copy anything or save any quotes. and you can disable the trade grid after you choose a color.
But you do need the chain up all the time. that's why I have multiple monitors

My active trader button side bar..... Disappears on the side. Of some of the charts. Just like your bottom two charts. The side bar buttons are not their. How do we bring those up

How to you add a link on the level 2. When I open up my paper platform it shows options to link the charts but not one on level 2. Also how did you paste into quotes when I try to do that it won’t let let me. So I have to go under watchlist and just right click add to watchlist
