Try sleeping and start remembering for example a person or a room or a situation. If u picked something u should start implementing more things in this situation. I mean to think about every detail, what happened and shaping it with your mind. Really trying to have a vivid feeling from it. The easiest is if it some erotic encounter. 2. Soon you will have a feeling when you are in the dream and when not because for example it will be blurry. When you have gotten to this point great! What also can help you is if you have a sound i n your room that you know for sure can only come from there. In the dream you will hear it if u focus!! For example i was watching an fcking interview xD and tried lucid dreaming. i was hearing the interview in my dream and i understood i can now do whatever i want which was really funny in the dream. 3. After you understood you are in the dream BE CAREFUL Dont rush it because you will wake up. First try little things like just observing or feeling. You will understand how fucking weird a dream is and how quickly a setting can change. Many times i understand it also how fucking bizarre some things are in the dreams, for example the quick settings. Try to move your hands or feet. Sometimes the dream is blurry and its normal thats because u cant rember to many details for example aperson or a building or whatever. Try really thinking about every small detail and take it slowly. It will get sharper. Also being in a brighter setting will help you with that. And just so you know in yor dream you can really do everything u cant die or no one can really hit you. I tested everything. You can let people disappear that you dont like in your setting within a second, just focus, feel it and tell it. Getting people in your setting is more difficult because of the blurriness and time to have put in to 'shape' them with your mind. Some people see you some people dont. Some people react on your actions some dont. I forgot that you have to open your eyes in the dream right. Also not easy because if you do it to quick u jost open your eyes in reality so be carefull. Open only the one eye and not even fully. The eye that you have sunken into your pillow. If you see things and feel you are in a dream open the one eye fully. Give yourself some time and then also open the other eye slowly. After some time you are the king of your dream and there are very many things todo. When you really get good in controlling your dreaming/sleep you can do unbelievable things for example... 1.Get into your lucid dream and have a good control. 2. Try sleeping in a bed and getting into another lucid dream. Somehow like inception in a dream of a dream xD 3. There even crazier shit can happen because its super realistic and sharp. You have to have the unique sound so u can 'recall' quickly if needed. There are also some other stuff but im too lazy to write everything now. I hope it helps you somehow because alle these lucid dreaming tutorials are really shit. Most people that do that video were never in a lucid dream.😂
in normal dreams i usually suddenly get aware that its a dream, but the sad Part is that once that happens, the dream starts to fade away as i slowly wake up, I try to not wake up but at last i just say goodbye to people in dreams, its basically like 2 temporary lives for me
There are actually strategies for that. Try imagining your riding a bus to another dream. You'll be in a different environment but you can still control your dreams. You can also imagine yourself climbing a rope back to your original dream but that's harder and I wouldn't reccomend it.
YO! Someone who experiences what I experience! For me, I can’t really tell very well because I’m just waking up but I think that I become aware of reality and remember it’s a dream, I believe I become aware of reality because I’m waking up and my consciousness is kicking back in, but I don’t get a chance to say goodbye, I don’t even recognize *some* of the people in my dreams.
Don't think of it as 'not trying to wake up' and instead think of it as participating in the environment, your mind will fall back to the dream and deny the pull of waking, it will be the opposite effect of what you've been experiencing
As someone who has naturally been able to lucid dream their whole life here are some things about it. When having nightmares usually I am fully aware of what my dream is about from the start, I can look and walk around freely usually I go through with the nightmare until I can no longer handle it then I give myself 2 options, 1 imagine something else or 2, go explore the world of this nightmare, go wonder around imaging new things and create different people to show up. I can also easily recreate any show and once I re created scream bc my dream was boring, it can be scary sometimes but overtime you get used to it and gain more control over it.
When your scared of a dream, I actually have a method of waking you out, I don’t know about you, but it worked for me. So first things first, you just try imagining that your closing your eyes, do it for at least 5 seconds. After that, you think it your head and try to hear your self think. You need to think in your head “Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up” repeat until you wake up If it doesn’t work just trying “(your name) this is a dream you must wake up” multiple times.

@@YoungboyShortClips-- it's possible you are sleeping in an environment envelope that is noisy, or with strong oders that frustrate you subliminally, or one which has excessive light penetrating your eyelids...? Try sleeping in until 10 am someday in a relatively quiet environment, and possibly even with listening to white-noise in earbuds. Moreover, experiment with eating yes, a simple banana (organic potassium mind boost enhancer) before going to sleep. See what happens !
I don't know if I ever lucid dreamed but there was this one time in my dream I said to myself ''it's not like I'm dreaming'' then I purposely bit my tongue and realised I was in fact in a dream. I tried willing myself a pizza but gave up when it didn't work.
oh I’m able to do this on all my dreams and nightmares. I wake up when I want, sometimes I just start chaos knowing that it’s not real, best feeling ever
One thing I hate about dreams is that I get to the best part and then I start to bring the dream into real life and then I wake up and realize that it was just a dream and I get depressed and start crying T - T
I just daydream in bed until I sleep. It works but sometimes you lose control with shit like the ground breaking and stuff but it works. I wanna lucid dream though.
Yea once I had a dream that I was throwing baby bottle pops and they exploded but the explosion was really loud so I woke up and it was a really bad storm and my room smelled like smoke so I slept with my mom.
@@douglaswegener6463you sometimes can but suddenly gives you adrenaline and you can’t run, this is from personal experience and I had a lot of lucid nightmares when I was younger
I discovered a technique I call lild Step one: make plans with a friend/roommate/family member to wake you up in the morning and turn on the light and then leave Step two: as they leave attempt to go back to sleep and as you do you will enter a space between dreams and reality. If this happens pick the scenario that you want to start in and then you're good to go
I feel like when you show too much emotion in a dream you wake up. Like if you get super scared you wake up but if you’re having a dream about meeting a celeb you wake up
Yes if you’re excited, aroused, scared… your emotional wake you up. I hate it cause those are the best parts of a lucid dream but sometimes I just try to close my eyes and begin again and it usually work but I make the same mistakes again. It takes practice.
I remember in 5th grade I would repeat the phrase, "I will wake up at 6 AM (or 7 AM I forgot)" and when I actually woke up int the moring and checked the time it would be a couple minutes right after that time I told myself to wake up. It was crazy that it actually worked.
For some reason when ever I have an alarm for the next morning I wake up any where from an hour to a minute before my alarm goes off but when I don’t have and alarm i don’t wake up as early
I remember the feeling of the last lucid dream I had. I could think about and travel anywhere in my dream, but it always felt like I was moving in quicksand.
Based of personal experience, this is what happens when I lucid dream. I usually start off in a place like home or somewhere I’m extremely familiar with. You can later control what happens. I’ve never actually gotten to control my lucid dreams because I get anxiety and I have this technique to get out. I have controlled ONE lucid dream and it was so fun! I WAS TAKING CARE OF PUPPIES! After I lucid dream, I usually dream of myself waking up, then I actually wake up. Sometimes I have lucid dreams where I’m only lucid dreaming like 0.5 percent of it.
U can do this as well as u can lay still with your eyes closed and whenever you have the urge to roll over or something itches, you ignore it. They'll go away after a short time and its your brains way of testing if your body will react, basically seeing if you've entered the rem part of sleep and your body cant move. If you don't react you can lucid dream pretty easily and often remain awake by tricking your brain into thinking you're not :)
@@trollrat2828 yeah it can happen. but its very unlikely if you never fall asleep because you never actually enter rem state! Making the conscious decision to ignore urges to move just tells parietal lobe (this lobe controls involuntary movements and touch) you're in rem state when you aren't. Its still possible to get sleep paralysis but its a lot less likely if you never fall asleep, basically just cus you get sleep paralysis when you wake up and ur bodies still in rem state xd
@@lea896 Kinda, consciousness can be kept but you'll process it as entering the rem state. The cerebral cortex is divided into different lobes, the frontal lobe is mostly responsible for thoughts and memories while the parietal lobe is responsible for touch and stuff :) idk if that makes sense sjshzkdb Just the fact you make the decision not to itch a spot or roll over convinces your brain tht your body is no longer responding because its entered the rem state, not because you made the conscious decision to not respond. I hope that makes sense jsjzhdhdh I'm really bad at explaining
One time I realized I was in a dream walking down the sidewalk with my mom. I told her "I'm dreaming right" She said "Yeah your real mom's sleeping I'm just your dream mom" And since then I always knew when I was in a dream.
I tell myself that I will control this dream while picturing the dream that’s what works best for me. Remember to say this dream while you’re picturing it.
When I am dreaming or sleeping I can talk to myself, say I am having a bad dream I can tell myself it’s just a dream.. or I can wake up purposely. I have been able to control my dreams before. :)
@Choccymilk I always wake myself up when I'm dreaming because my brain takes me to dark places. I've been able to lucid dream since I was a kid and being able to lucid dream in the same nightmare every time I dream was never fun. Now I just don't dream or try not to

Used to hear my siblings calling my name when no one said anything and no one was even near me. Maybe underlying schizophrenia, maybe just part of growing tbh idc
One time i had a lucid dream and i was in a forest/ garden. I suddenly think "Wait am i dreaming? I am dreaming!" Then i thought "Can i control my dream?" I wished that flowers would start booming and suddenly a bunch of leaves and flowers started falling (i think they were sakuras.) so i got really exited and started running through the garden and i felt... free. I was wearing a yellow dress and i felt genuinely happy.i start rolling in the grass and then i wake up. Easily the best dream ive ever had.
it works better if you sleep on your left side and drink a glass of apple juice, this is because apple juice has insanely high acetylcholine levels, and acetylcholine works as a neurotransmitter-a chemical message released by nerve cells to send signals to other cells, making your brain function a lot more. And sleeping on specific sides affects dream levels. Sleep is associated underlying brain functions so that's a reason why specific postures during NREM (Non Rapid Eye Movement) could boost your chance of going through REM (Rapid Eye Movement).
I mostly become a lucid dreamer when someone is talking for to long with me. I just smile and say "oh please, this is a dream" and then I just walk away or stand up and tada I am awake. Kind of boring
The first time I lucid dreamt, it felt magnificent, like I could control everything and it was actually pretty peaceful. It’s nice to get away from the stresses of the outside world once in a while. As soon as I woke up, I wrote down my dream as fast as possible. I definitely recommend that. And for anyone interested, my dream was about killing terminators (if ya know the terminator, you know what I mean) alongside John Connor and the T-800 😂
After coming back to this after 6 months, I can’t remember the dream anymore. If I try I can remember some small glimpses but I think because of me trying so hard to remember my brain is making fake memories..
i actually had a lucid dream not too long ago and it wasn’t even intentional. i could even make myself aware of how my body felt whilst sleeping. it felt like an out of body experience.
You got the right idea, but you missed some major facts. I've been a lucid dreamer for about two years now, and although I'm not the best, I do know that dream journaling and realty checks are crucial parts in the MILD technique.
i once tricked myself with a similar technique, when i was in third grade id always repeat to myself "i will wake up at 5:30" when it was a school night. my alarm always went off at 6:15, and i wanted to wake up earlier so i could play games on my 3ds :)
There is a channel dedicated to lucid dreaming, it is called "Explore Lucid Dreaming" he tells you all sorts of different methods to lucid dream, even describe the feeling, he also tells you the DOs and DON'Ts of lucid dreaming, make sure to keep a dream journal to remember dreams easier, and once you master it, you can control dreams every night
I ever had a lucid dream, all I did was slap people with fishes. That’s all I did Edit : I started having more lucid dreams and lemme tell ya, it gets weirder Edit 2 : So I started having this Lucid Dream about the same thing lately. Why does it involve me trying to crash a car. And I am willing to do it btw, this ain't a normal dream. Edit 3 : So I finally got another weird one, and it was about genderbending everyone. Somehow, I managed to see the end of that dream. Bruh I barely remember anything. My darkest desire is definitely questionable
Ive only had a lucid dream a couple times but one time I could just keep pausing my dream, waking up , doing something, and them laying back down and resuming my dream. It was so freaking weird!
Yeah like when you first go to bed it takes time but then if u wake up lets say a scary dream at 4:00 am and when u go back to sleep it takes 5 mind for another dream
(Kinda) Lucid Dreaming Story: A couple months back, I had a terrifying nightmare where my family and I were stuck in a real haunted house, and we were all being injured and possessed by the demonic spirits, I saw every one of my family members die in the haunted house, so I began running throughout the house, trying to find the front door so I could escape. I never found the door. I was cornered by multiple demonic spirits, before realizing I was dreaming, instead of controlling my dream and escaping the house, I instantly woke up. I don’t know if I had woken myself up upon realizing it was a dream, or if there’s some other explanation, because I don’t remember waking myself up, it sort of just happened as soon as I realized I was dreaming. So if you have any idea why this happened, or some sort of explanation, please let me know!!!
I’m able to recognize it’s a dream more often than not, and the two biggest signs for me are not being able to walk/run, and being in a public place with no one wearing masks (lol)
Bruh I'm not judging but man ur gonna have a great time in the world of dreams rather than this apocalyptic hell were in. Good luck bro. Btw if you can lucid dream I want you to make a dream where u and a bunch of aliens were doing fortnite dances while on the top of the eifel tower
Is it really a disorder? Because that's exactly what I do, until this video I didn't know there were so many people that were able to do this, like, are able to control EXACTLY what happens in the dream and are ALWAYS aware, because no one I know can and they all think I am weird. What is the disorder called?
Place a paper in every one of your rooms that says "LUCID DREAM". Every time you see it look at your body and the hour and confirm that everything is normal. Eventually you will do that in your dreams to. Surprise surprise, you will not see something normal
one time i had a dream my whole town was flooding and when i was about to die with my family I realized that I'm in a dream "wait a minute this is a dream" and then I closed my eyes for a few seconds and boom I woke up and right now I feel the feeling of regret of leaving my dream parents and my sister and cats there I kind of feel sadness of making my body make a sad face.
U know whats worse I got a dream were a volcano explode so great that my family has to save me and make a run for it sadly I was a bout to die and I was corners I panic in fear dunno what to do then as the lava gets close I woke up it was freaking realistic and scary :(
I was dreaming about being under water, and thought to my self there is air in water, so I end up taking small breath and realizing that I was dreaming
5 yrs ago I Remember having a lucid dream where I hoping between different dimensions At the end I knew it was a dream So I said to my mother ( in the dream) "I'm dream right?" Her mouth opened wide and a weird scream came outta her I instantly woke up
I don't have a control of that every night I am half a sleep I didn't have a normal dream except ones in my life and I loved it I hope it will happen to me again 😢
Guys, let's just relax a little bit and appreciate how beautiful dreaming is. We are totally in a different world. Idk man it just came up, dreaming is so cool. I hope one day scientists will be able to explain how we are doing it.
its actually really good way for having fun when you didn't have any time to , because you could literally control everything inside your dream , its a good way to make your stress go away , i've been using it since i was around 11.
I was once having a nightmare and said, "wait, I'm dreaming, I can control this!" And I couldnt control it and some weird demon was crawling towards me with its bones cracking and the light flickering and I got eaten alive 😗✌ Lol
I have this dream that I used to always get and now every time I get it Ik it’s a dram so once I lived in a mansion full of puppies the other I was brought to a beautiful garden and i told the person in my dream Ik this is a dream but I love it. It’s AMAZING.
This used to happen to me as a child randomly. It hasn't happened for a long time but would be interesting to try and do it again as an adult. Would always just make myself fly around haha
Ugh I hate when you find the love of your life then you wake up then you have these weird panic attacks like feeling like butterfly’s in you dreams knowing your never gonna meet them in your life again
Did not know there were actual techniques to do this on purpose , I usually end up lucid dreaming when it's a bad dream and try to wake up but don't fully wake up
If I could control my dream, I would be laying in a field, on a cloudy day. Where everything is at peace. I don't know why I want it, it just seems nice.
I’m just scrolling through the comments and I see how many people are saying that they have gotten trapped in a dream before.... now I’m sacred and I don’t want to lucid dream.... 😳
ok so this day i literally like i rolled over in my bed and it was night and it literally just magically became day like i blink once like dude i did not even have a dream i just skipped hours of my existence
This has happened to me like 20 times and I’m 13 but most of the time I just blink and it’s been like a 3 hour nap but sometimes I just blink and it’s day
Does anyone else feel like their dreams are sometimes a little blurry? And then you try to make it clearer by opening ur eyes and that wakes you up..
Yes same
Yeah they are always blurry
Lol me to but when i try to remember its blurry
Defo
Yeah I agree especially when I try to read stuff in my dream
Sometimes I just for some reason realize it’s a dream out of nowhere and then I wake up
Same cuz it's too good to be true
same then i try to wake up but i’m too weak or i just hit my self in the dream then i wake up
I once realized I was in a dream cuz I had a thought like this will never in real life and then I woke up lol

After that, you think it your head and try to hear your self think. You need to think in your head “Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up” repeat until you wake up
If it doesn’t work just trying “(your name) this is a dream you must wake up” multiple times.

Yes if you’re excited, aroused, scared… your emotional wake you up. I hate it cause those are the best parts of a lucid dream but sometimes I just try to close my eyes and begin again and it usually work but I make the same mistakes again. It takes practice.
i dreamt abt johnny depp once and i was so fuckin happy to see him it was great
That might be the reason why we wake up after getting jumpscared by a monster in a nightmare-
I remember in 5th grade I would repeat the phrase, "I will wake up at 6 AM (or 7 AM I forgot)" and when I actually woke up int the moring and checked the time it would be a couple minutes right after that time I told myself to wake up. It was crazy that it actually worked.
Yeah it makes your brain remember. Works for weekends but not as well
For some reason when ever I have an alarm for the next morning I wake up any where from an hour to a minute before my alarm goes off but when I don’t have and alarm i don’t wake up as early
Yes that happens to me but I didn’t tell myself to wake up at 6...
@Pikachu pokemon I used an alarm so much I’ve conditioned my brain to wake up at 5:30 or 6:00 even on weekends
ur brainn be like:yo u set brain cells an alarm we forgot cuz we didnt hear our alarm so wake up
I remember the feeling of the last lucid dream I had.
If you don't react you can lucid dream pretty easily and often remain awake by tricking your brain into thinking you're not :)
wait that’s actually really smart
But your brain would know your awake, your brain is the reason you know when your awake or not
@@trollrat2828 yeah it can happen. but its very unlikely if you never fall asleep because you never actually enter rem state!
I hope that makes sense jsjzhdhdh I'm really bad at explaining

it works better if you sleep on your left side and drink a glass of apple juice, this is because apple juice has insanely high acetylcholine levels, and acetylcholine works as a neurotransmitter-a chemical message released by nerve cells to send signals to other cells, making your brain function a lot more. And sleeping on specific sides affects dream levels. Sleep is associated underlying brain functions so that's a reason why specific postures during NREM (Non Rapid Eye Movement) could boost your chance of going through REM (Rapid Eye Movement).
You made me drink apple juice at 2 am
I mostly become a lucid dreamer when someone is talking for to long with me. I just smile and say "oh please, this is a dream" and then I just walk away or stand up and tada I am awake. Kind of boring
The first time I lucid dreamt, it felt magnificent, like I could control everything and it was actually pretty peaceful. It’s nice to get away from the stresses of the outside world once in a while. A couple months back, I had a terrifying nightmare where my family and I were stuck in a real haunted house, and we were all being injured and possessed by the demonic spirits, I saw every one of my family members die in the haunted house, so I began running throughout the house, trying to find the front door so I could escape.
