Rory is more like Lucifer than Chloe. She is rebellious, she blames her father for everything bad that has happened to her. She assumes the worst about him, not knowing the facts. It could be said that Rory is a mini Lucifer.
I think they even said the same thing in the first episode she shows up and talks, but the problem is that she just doesn't have the same charisma as him/the actor, so it falls flat
I really hope that Brianna Hildebrand (Rory) is in Deadpool 3 (Negasonic) . The jokes would be epic (Listen hear Spawn of Satan, do you have your red wings yet, etc.)
@@mirkecWii I don't know, and I could be wrong, but I feel like he's the kind of person who would be happy to nerd out about the things he likes, and I can't find him ever mentioning Lucifer in an interview or on social media or anywhere.
Charlotte Richards was told the truth too. She did not find it out herself but she needed to know because she thought she was going insane because of her memories from hell and the missing time. She is the one that handles it the best alongside Ella.
I feel like Ella has enough weird experiences with Lucifer to serve as a basis should she start to believe him when he says who he is. Like she's been explaining away the weird situations he gets into for seasons, like that time she thought he'd hit an emu when she saw an angel feather. There's so much about him and his life that makes sense when you believe him, instead of thinking how ridiculous that would be.
Man I wasn’t here in the beginning when you first started to react to Lucifer, late subscriber of course 🤦♀️ but I can say I’m really going to miss these Lucifer Reactions 😞.!
Linda's advice of how long time to mourn (not the same as grieving) and process a loss (divorce/death) was actually the same yardstick I used to figure out how I would express my grief over losing my husband. By the time I was marking my 32nd and final month, I felt ready emotionally to move forward in my life. I found her assessment quite affirming.
21:22 Series finales that ended in the near future, that I watched... The original "Charmed". "Mad About You". "Desperate Housewives". "Parks and Recreation". "How I Met Your Mother". "Will & Grace". (The first time. The return of it ignored all of that.) I'm also thinking that, "The West Wing" may have too. 🤔
This episode was so exciting I never thought from the first season of the series that there would be an episode where Maze would get married! And it's so beautiful! And perfect I love Maze and the change she went through and we deserve on a personal earth like Maze ' This is called character development!
Background of this episode if you saw Maze she offers Trixie liquor and Eve stops her kind of like how Maze offered Trixie liquor in the first scene they had together.
You say the show is telling us our belief about who Lucifer is is wrong. It's not tho. This character from the future tells us that and just like Lucifer and Chloe we can't believe it because we KNOW he would be there. That's the whole mystery. To think that if it's not a misunderstanding, what could possibly have happened for Lucifer to become the absent father he doesn't want to be after all he has gone through?
The commentary at 25:20 about what a platypus is called in other languages, in danish its called "Næbdyr" which direclty translates to beak animal, "Næb" means beak and "dyr" means animal. Im sure Adam would have done a better job.
Ella has been in numerous situations where Lucifer has told her the truth and she hasn't believed. If she was starting to suspect, why didn 't she just tell him she knew he wasn't an actor playing a part/believed he was Lucifer and that she now knew he was Lucifer? That always confused me. Genuinely.
I mean if you would belive 100% in one thing for so long and then you realize that the person you belived in is actually real that probably shatters your whole view
The reveal in this episode that Rory isn't actually from 20 years in the future, but much further, means she looks 19 but is probably middle aged. Then, why does she act 19?
I will say I was confused because Eve said that she's not immortal yet she's literally the first woman well the second because of Lilith but she's the first of the lineage and I can imagine that she's not immortal if you know she was brought back from the dead or something like that but guess what she wasn't because Adam shows up in this episode so what the f***... Is she immortal or is she not
I think you actually can blame Lucifer. I think it's been touched on by another character before (probably Chloe or Dan), but even if Lucifer tells everyone the truth all the time, he knows that most mortals wouldn't really believe him without tangible proof, which he could easily provide. For example, he told Ella he's the Devil, but it's not like he was popping out his wings to actually prove it to her.
Its very easy for me to understand Rory as a guy whose dad abandoned him and occasionally tries to come back into my life only to leave again. I can understand the frustration, but mending these things isn't easy.
Rory's relationship with Amenadiel seems....odd. To her he is not Uncle A, he is God. It seems that Trixie is in on the secret. I think she was there for the reveal.
After killing Urial, Lucifer was a mess and needed Linda to believe him. He shows Linda his devil face on purpose and is saddened by her trauma. I think it is 20 years later when Chloe dies. They’ve already shown us that Rory lies.
Lots and lots of time I wanted Ella to find out the truth. It sucks that everyone knows what's going on except Ella but I'm glad she found out for herself! Because my girl is smart! She does not need Lucifer to show her his face. She's smart enough to understand that But still sucks that she's sad about the fact that they did not tell her from the beginning she would have accepted it better than all the other characters in the series
The writing is really good when it comes to actual plot lines but God that daughter just has the worst kinda of logic. She's just so emotionally draining. She never really has ground to stand on shes just mad cause they need more episodes. It's annoying
I really don't understand this take. She was abandoned by Lucifer. It doesn't matter that he hasn't done it yet, it happened to her. If there was a good reason for him to leave, why wouldn't her mom tell her that? Why would she hide the reason?
@@mlgnerd13 Well there could be a reason for Chloe to hide it from Rory, like what if Lucifer actually dies in the future and Rory is responsible for it? I could see Chloe wanting to spare Rory that truth. But what bothers me most with Rory is that there's no progression. When she first arrived, she was mad at Lucifer and I get that. But since she arrived, she's seen that Lucifer can't even fathom the idea of abandoning her, everybody that actually knows Lucifer tells her that he's not like that; but no, she refuses to entertain the mere idea that, maybe, something happened. She's acting like a petulant child, but she's not a child, she's and adult. I found her annoying when I thought she was in her twenties, and now we learn she's even older than that? I don't know if it's the writing, the directions the actress was given or how she chose to play it, but it doesn't work for me.
Gods i hated this season. From the whole black cop angle (i get rejected for promotion because im black women) to even Amen's reaction to the white DCI who changed after a critical race theory course (being all "thats not good enough reeeeehhhh fire him!!!!!") Even this episode with Adam being a massive over the top sexist surfer guy. You can tell the CW'ism finally infected the show. If it ended last season with Lucifer holding the dagger saying "oh my meeeeeeeee!" i think it would of been 10x better. But im still watching this chanel because its fun just to see their take.
Yeah, should have ended season 4 or 5 because you know eventually that abject wokism is going to rear its ugly head and destroy the show. Just made it meh like everything else today.

I love how the show got from season 1, not even seeing the wings move much to season 6, seeing (half)angels fly in the sky
Fun fact: in Dutch the platypus is named ‘vogelbekdier’,
wich literally translates to bird-mouth animal.

I don't know about animals, but pineapple is "ananas" in a lot of languages (even across categories of languages, such as romantic and semitic).
How could nobody notice an angel flying in the sky in day?
Was Trixie in the room when Ella did the reveal ? Carol was in the bathroom.Carol & Trixie were the only ones, I think, that didn't know.
So who was the father to Maze and all of the other demons?
Was it Lucifer?
Was it a human latter on? (Aka one of the descendents of Eve?)
