There’s a Mario and Luigi game that takes place primarily inside Bowsers body called Bowsers Inside Story. It’s weird! You should play it ^.^

As for the Strange Sack for the Pit, I think it's fair considering you need to do the first 50 floors without in anyway, you can't sell anything for more money so you're limited to what money you have with Charlieton's crazy prices, and if you DID want to fill up in spite of all that and not use Charlie you'd have to leave which would be OOF

Next challenge should be a "No B Button" challenge; you cannot use the B Button at all, so no using the hammer in the overworld, superguarding or even going back in menus
i think you would need glitches for that
because you can't use super hammer in the overworld
A minimal B button challenge would be more realistic

The pit of a hundred trials run for this is gonna be absurd
Of course you've got to do the pit, and as for the sack, go for it. if you have the fortitude to go back through the pit for an extra 50 floors then I'd say that its a fair trade off to see the pain of Bonetail.

A cool challenge you could do would be the "Throwback" Challenge
Rules:
Only partners/items/badges that are in both games (TTYD: Goombella, Koops, Bobbery/64: Goombario, Kooper, Bombette)
No Superguards/Spin dash (depending on the game)
Can only use the same partners moves (Bomb, Shell Shot, Tattle, etc. [Only P badge is Charge])

I think it’s totally fair to use the strange sack, but only if you do the entire pit in one run, no getting to 50 and then backing out and re-doing it
I always love how your chapter transitions sync to the music. Its just great little details
on the Piders in Boggly Wood - can use Flurrie to blow them away from you and when they swing back into you it’ll start a normal encounter, neither side First Striking !

First time watching your videos and want to tell you how impressed I am. You do a great job explaining everything without being too detailed, leave irrelevant material on the cutting room floor, and keep the video moving at a nice pace that maintains interest. A lot UA-camrs seem to miss these elements but you’ve balance everything nicely. Keep up the good work!
got a neat challenge that involves math, you can only deal even numbers of damage
for example you cant supergaurd direct hits because thats 1 dmg (odd). There are also instances in which you cant jump on enemies since thats 1+1 which both are odd numbers. To make it simple, you cant have odd numbers showing up on screen. If you want to go a step further you can make it so enemies will have to deal even dmg numbers as well Which will double that iq needed.
A tip for anyone playing the game normally: don't enable Jumpan and Hammerman at the same time or you'll accidentally be trying this challenge.

I really appreciate you for taking the time to acknowledge that there /are/ glitches that can effectively skip that fight, though I do feel like unless my memory is wrong, the skip to the grubba boss doesn't skip /that/ much
If there is an pit of 100 trials sequel to this, I hope you use some zess t items for it. I just think it would be cool to see someone use a zess dynamite in a non-casual playthrough

Honestly I'm kind of surprised you didn't get the Zap Tap badge from the pit for this challenge. I figured the contact damage some bosses would take would add up and be useful. It should definitely help in the pit if you decide to do it.

My vote is for using the Sack, but not leaving the Pit mid-way. If you can scramble together enough items to go over ten, take 'em. Either way you're not reaching Bonetail with 20 HP Drains. And even if you did, that's only half his healthbar.
I think its fine to use the strange sack.. after you get to the 50th floor. You gotta *start* with 10 items, even if you already grabbed it and left
I’ve beaten this game like 5 times since my childhood and did not know until today that the badge shop sold badges through dialogue that were not on the counter
Gloomtail is basically an Elden ring boss lol, stall until he does something stupid, then dish back like 2 hits at a time.

how about a challenge that randomizes your badges after each fight that means you can check what setup you have before the next fight but you are not allowed to change it
and for added difficulty the partner randomizes as well and you arent allowed to switch em except when they go down.

You should do a run where all the required fights outside of the Glitz Pit are given Grubba conditions determined by spinning wheel.

Great challenge, however I think you should have named it "No physical attacks" or "No direct attacks" rather than "no attacks" since the special moves are definitely attacks.
An _actual_ no attacks challenge would be quite fun to watch actually (it'd basically be an items-only challenge), would be curious to see your strategies on this.
End credits definitive banger. You could try Pit of 100 trials without strange sack first, then when you feel it’s too difficult you could start over with strange sack.

Imagine doing a challenge run of TTYD where you play through every required battle BLIND, meaning you cannot see what the enemies or even yourself are doing and have to rely completely on sound cues to dodge attacks (think of blind Punch Out or Blind Super Mario 64). It would be cool to see that if it's possible lol. Face cam would obviously be required to do this.
Also, you didn't name the Yoshi like in every other challenge run :(

As for pit of 100 trials... what if you can only enter a given pit run (INCLUDING AFTER YOU GET THE SACK IF YOU LEAVE AND COME BACK) with 10 items, BUT you can after floor 50 of a given run use 20 items since it signifies having obtained the sack? It could make it more interesting as then you have more focus on charliton to get more items making coin management more important and also makes finding items in the run off the battles post fight way more helpful and makes it more interesting I think!
16:16 i mean to be fair, if you were to go out on the street and throw a brick at someone, the fact said brick is not a part of your body thus is an item, would not make it any less of an attack (at least it would not make it any less problematic in court), so i would say it kinda makes sense
I think you should be allowed to use the strange sack in the pit. I feel like your access to buying items would already be pretty limited, so carrying 20 items probably wouldn't be too huge of a buff. Plus, it would cut back on how long it would take to grind through every fight using only special moves.

With how much defense played into the game here, I kinda want to see a max defense badge run.
So, basically Sticker Star/Color Splash? Since those Paper Mario games are basically forced items only runs, as every attack you make is using a consumable, like offensive items in N64 and TTYD

It's too bad you failed the challenge immediately by "Jumping" right into it. Jokes aside, I really appreciate the "No superguard" rule, I love when there's a focus on strategy in challenge runs. And I personally think having the sack available in the pit of 100 trials is fair!
My opinion on the Strange Sack in the Pit: You're most definitely gonna suffer without it, I think. Use the strange sack. It's fine.
