I like your videos and how professional you and your team. I hired a masonry contractor to do my concrete backyard patio last month, they are good but not as professional as you. Keep up the good work!
TY
We try
The best part about when David narrates is it makes me feel like I'm watching a home movie with my grandad narrating it
TY
Listening to David's California Surfer accent takes me back...
Sounds cool
Love the saw cut look. I enjoyed the series, thanks.
Awesome, thank you!
Your team is amazing, is crazy how great your work always comes out.
Thank you very much!
I say it all the time. The Pro's sure make it look easy. I've tried "small" concrete projects at my home but am never happy with the results.
You can do it!
You are an incredible concrete finisher
Ty
I think I have watched enough of your videos now to know that I'll leave it to the speciaists.
Good idea
ALWAYS FUN WORKING WITH THE BOYS LIKE OLD TIMES
The boys can get it on, OSS
You've made a standard concrete drive look very unique and elegant really like that .

Thank you! Cheers!
🎉 thanks for the video guys 🎉...JJ... Jonjon...
YW
Great attention to detail, as always. I wish you guys were in Colorado, cause I've got a major driveway project coming up!
That would be cool!
Why didn’t you use a foam backer board where the driveway meets the garage slab? Not needed?
Not needed on older homes
Not needed for code?
Turned out beautiful
TY
Phenomenal job... really nice work
Thank you! Cheers!
Y'all do clean, good work on the area and surroundings.
Thanks 👍
Great Job as always David, this was a beauty but you cheated us on some of the pour footage 5:38 ... Don't let it happen again. :)
yes the footage could have been longer
Great job team 👏💕👍
PS- 1:10 reuse the water for drinking water!!! 🤣 You almost got me
I have a life straw for that wheelbarrow
@@OdellCompleteConcrete 😆 haha, ur bad!!! 🤣💕👍
I may have missed the reason why the client wanted a new driveway? The original one looked like it was in good shape.
Check out part one.

Great work as always!
Thank you! Cheers!
I mean I don't think I'll be drinking leftover concrete water anytime soon but I get your point.
Another Great job. Thank you.
Thank you too!
They should have painted the truck green and put tutrle decals on it to make it look like a giant turtle... So when its crawling up the LA hill roads, its just puttin' along... no one can get mad because they would start lauphing when they see it.
Great idea.
Maybe the turtle and hare
Roseborough closed?? No way that sucks. I’m in Nevada now but always talk about going back to get more tools.
I hear that
Orange county thats West coast concrete territory !!!
Yes
Great video
Ty
Thanks for the visit
From what I heard roseburrough moved to the city of Tustin on Palm St...
Good to hear
TY
It looks so nice, I really like your concrete work. Is 3000 PSI good enough for the driveway? And how thick (4 in or 5 in) is concrete?
Top notch
Who sells the fibre mesh? Is that what it’s called?
From the batch plant
We use the Euclid 150 for precast, very good stuff. Sika is good
2:13 - Is the walkway going to be under the siding there? From this view, looks like you're going to butt the concrete right into the siding (which would be bad and rot and water stuck back there)
It's under the siding, but it is enclosed overhead.
Great Video 💪 What kind of concrete blade did you use?
I had a new concrete poured a couple weeks ago. I feel like they should have added more expansion joints. Is it too late to cut some more or should i still have them do it?
That diamond pattern looks beautiful by the way.
It's never to late until it cracks
Beautiful job What's the attachment to the skill saw
A vaccum
@@OdellCompleteConcrete thanks. I mean the cradle on which the skill saw rides
looks good but how yall start and stop the broom instead of pulling it all the way across drives me nuts.
think of it as a Picaso brush strokes.
Excelente trabajo saludos 👍👌
TY
the base is # component for structural
OSS
@@OdellCompleteConcrete rebar and or wire it #1 reinforcement, fiber is 2. I like how u add it in
Looks awesome!
Ty
Hey I appreciate all the educational information you give with your videos. I am currently getting bids for a new driveway pour but I am curious if it’s okay without limestone base? Every estimate I have gotten they tell me it’s not necessary as the soil in Houston is dry and hard enough. Curious on what your thoughts are on this?
Makes sense to me
"I adapted another hose on it so I wouldn't have to move the vacuum as often." as we see a hose clamp and duct tape job :P
Bingo
Odell, how do you like the medusa concrete saw? Would you recommend it? I'm asking because I got a big project to cut, and rather then blasting my back with a quickcut, I was thinking of picking one of these up.
Yes I recommend the Medusaw
Hi David, you ever use a grout like a sanded grout or just a water cement mix to prime the pump then just include the grout mix in the pour or is that basically cost prohibitive?
Special primers were used but there was a lot of collateral damage
How much did it cost to do all this??
Typically how do u start your diamond layout?
Great job 🎊
Thank you! 😁
Great job!❤
Thank you! 😄
Good job
Thanks
Superb! Do you ever make contact with rebar when doing the cuts?
Not on steel but I have a pink bar
@@OdellCompleteConcrete Gotcha - I did see the blade depth after I posted the question. It's not deep enough to hit it. Thanks.
4th😊 from Russia

Russia
When I had my patio poured, the pump guy told the redimex driver he wanted a 6.5 slump. The dude adjusted something on the concrete truck. Is he just adjusting the water content?
yes, and that to wet
@@OdellCompleteConcrete what slump do you use for patio? He used 3500 psi with steel rebar on 24” centers, lots of packed road base about 4” thick forms.
Dave im getting my driveway done there using #3 rebar and only going 3.5in and the temps are going to be 92degrees when they pour is it ok to pour in high temps im in nor cal and should i fibers for strength i appreciate any info
Fiber is a good idea in hot weather
Pea gravel mix?
AWESOME 🎉🎉
Thanks 🤗
Hi how much for $ for framing and cement cost and labor to pour and finish the driveway?
7500
The saw your using to Cut the concrete can you spell tht for me please
Medusaw
Are Project please add into your video complete permission to add our video Jason Adam and Greg we were born and raised in Fountain Valley Huntington Beach
Great, me too
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
"drinkable water" Do you save and drink it later? lol
I have a life straw
David what does a truck full of that concrete cost these days
1800
Glad to see you doing work in the beach area where that clown with a channel from that area that thinks he's the only one that can do concrete work. Take that.
I live in Northridge CA how can I contact you?
Email
Is the aluminum screed a 1x4x10?
Yes
When u cut with the saw , how deep do u cut
I like 3/4"
phenomenal job guys
TY

You made it
TY
What do you think about standing screeds are they any good? Great work, another premium quality piece of art.
More technical, equals more failure
you messed up on the center, still very nice
Not really.
