Top stuff Craig. I'm not far from u in Sheffield. The plot is taking shape, break it down into small projects/steps and all will be good. Enjoyin' it so far!
I love a day out in Shef. Quite often I'll not book in any jobs and jump on the train. Straight off the train, into the Howard then off up into town. Love it 😀
Hi Craig Your strawberries look great - enjoy ! We haven’t got any ripe ones yet . Sweetcorn plants look good quality Ignore this if you already knew , but Sweetcorn needs to be planted in a block or grid pattern , not a row , as they are wind pollinated. All the best
oh fab sweetcorn for a huge corn field lol if they're full size ones not stir fry size you need to plant them in a grid not in rows so they pollinate each other
Oh and to address the ending, UA-cam put your first video into the algorithm and once I clicked it, it put subsequent video in the recommended. Helps a ton when YT promotes 👍
Lol if you're up for mediocrity humour then you've found the right place. I know a fantastic joke about Rhubarb but I'm saving it for my 1 million subscriber special.
right, court up, I can go and water my plot now, waiting for the next vid. Everlasting onions when the clumps get bigger use like spring onions. The idea is to enjoy what you are doing not to finish lists. Don't forget to plant sweetcorn in blocks👌
I'd leave the pumpkin planted the same, you can send their vines different directions to help with air flow. You never know how resilient plants are until you try them. Best way to learn is to just do it, there is no right way to garden.
@@CraigsAllotment can’t mistake it I’m in Barnsley… just watched a few more of your videos did you manage to get glass for the greenhouse was thinking why not try a window company sometimes you can pick up unwanted glass for free
I think those you moved to the herb bed are not chives they look more like leftover leeks from last yr gone to flower. Already saving money that’s a good strawberry harvest.
Nice plot, lots of strawberries..i love the space.. New friend here from Growing My Own.
Thanks for checking in. Much appreciated

Hi Craig. Those roots are asparagus and they are very well established by the looks of them. I would replant them.
😞 I'll have to find them and get them back in. Thank you

I saw on @emmasallotmentdiaries that a grid is required. Thank you for commenting, much appreciated

Apparently they're Welsh Onions. Similar to chives but bulkier
I wonder what your 20year old self would think of you being an allotmenteer. 🥱
I was always into food but back then I lacked commitment
You’re a natural Craig .your plot is looking amazing. Well done lad
