Damn bro you keep your profit margins tight, I’ve been flipping bikes, quads, sidexside, pretty much everything for the last 4 years. The lowest profit I’ve made is $1500 I picked up a 2015 ktm sxf 250 with 84 hrs for $2600 and sold it a week later for $6500
Dude, your content is so inspiring. It shows that you don’t need to burn a hole in your pocket to fix up a bike and enjoy it, financially or personally! I have a ‘04 Honda Cr 125 and it has some problems, motorwork, brake work, stuff like that and your content makes me motivated to fix it up and rip it up!! ✌️🤘
I dig your shakedown! We always hit plastics, bars, grips, seat covers and graphics to set it off. Its insane the amount of neglect all these used bikes endure. A little elbow grease and love can really revive a bike and give it another shot at life. Before we beat the living piss out of them I guess..
never reuse or bent back a bent bar, it breaks when you pull hard or land hard, i learned that the hard way with a slip bar in my hands with the front wheel in the air..
Great videos. Id do the following as well before selling any bike. 1. Check the compression 2. Make sure the fork oil is good 3. Clean the carburetor. Often times i see bikes with really old oil in the forks. Most people never service their forks
the quality of these videos you share with us is amazing ive watched you put that rm together like 5 times! i got the same year model and am getting ti nitride fork coatings keep up this great content bro 👍
this is the first video ive watched from you, as a new guy getting into the dirt bike community, I learned a lot from seeing how you flipped this bike! it will help me going forward with my flipping adventures. id love to learn more about your aluminum cleaning process, It looked like you were using scotch-brite and some sort of spray. id love to learn more. definitely subscribed
To get the dents out of the pipe, fill it with water then stick it in the freezer. The water/ice expands, and as the ends freeze first, it seals the rest of it in. Gets rid of most larger dents! Especially on 2 strokes 👍
Just came across your channel you deserve a grand earner on every bike u sell cos u do a perfect restoration on them and that way who buys it gets a great bike not 1 that lasts an hour respect from south wales good luck with future vids and bikes.
Keep up the goood content love your vids as soon as i got the notification i clicked i have watched all your builds over and over and i still cant get enough
Noticed the Pro Action suspension stickers on the bike, got my attention. Very popular in my area, then I noticed the Akron Zips sweatshirt and it hit me. Your probably from Akron. Great video from a new sub in Canton Ohio.
Awesome work man the bike looks great. I just finished bringing a CRF100 back from the grave. It needed a full engine & transmission build and a bunch of small things. I definitely want to get a YZ125 soon.
If you invest in a TIG welder, you can cut out the dented section, hammer the dents out, then tig weld it back together. It'd be worth it if you plan on doing a lot of these bikes since virtually every old dirt bike has a dented pipe.
love your video's bro, with the time spent added on, you probably made like ~$200 profit if that, depending on how much you value your time at. it's alright flipping as a hobby but aside from that it's more often than not a money sink rather than a gain.
2:30 Pro tip: Apply transparent spraypaint to the handlebar area where the new handgrips need to be mounted. The new handgrips slide ride on and after the paint dries up they're secured tightly! ;-)
I've seen this before, but never have done it. What's the process for removing the old grips? Do they get all stuck on and tear when you try to remove them? That's why I don't like grip glue
@@MattBerger02 Hi Matt, I never use the grip glue because of the exact same reason. I use the transparant spray paint because it makes the installation so easy AND the grips are easily removed if necessary because the spraypaint just dries out and doesn't stick to the grips like grip glue does. Just try it, you will like it. ~Tijmen

Hey I have a tip for dents on pipes try it out some time fill up the pipe all the way with water as much as you can put it in a dresser wait till it’s all frozen then wait for it to try off and turn into water dump it out and you should have a lot way less dents
INVEST IN THE DENT REMOVER KIT FOR PIPES!!!! Dude i promise you it saves so freaking much money and saves sooooooo many pipes and its so easy to do you put the plugs on the pipe connect and airline put the pressure in it and hit it with the blow torch so freaking easy my 11 yearold does it on his own when hes bored
You should buy a 2 stroke pipe repair pump! Tool that pressurizes the pipe so it forms back into its original shape. Looks like you could make good use of it! :D
That Walmart flannel haha I got the same one bro, got all the colors actually😂 but nice vid man, I got a mint 2012 yz125 with the 15 front end restyle kit and a fmf fatty with the shorty. Looks brand new
Good call on making it look stock again!
Stock is the way to go!
@Syver Bertilrud why would he do that and lose out on profit, it’s not like he’s making enough off UA-cam to cover that cost, don’t be stupid.
Nothing sells better than OEM
@Syver Bertilrud why do people on UA-cam always want stuff for free? how many of your local bike shops do bike giveaways?
@@2stroketyson79 You're right, But I have been to a shop that did a give away. Also there's a few UA-camrs that do giveaways for bikes

Instead of compressed air or grip glue you can use clear spray paint to glue the grips on.Works mint
That's a great idea! Does it leave a mess when removing them?
