Another awesome video. I love watching rise compilations because not only are they fun to look at, they also just evoke so much emotion. Like how the first Ultraman would grab your attention with that loud red color and flashing, or how the theme that plays when Dyna transforms is just so iconic, or even just how the background in Titas's rise references the original Joneus rise. By the way, Joneus's second rise is my favorite, because it combines everything said above with an awesome human-turning-into-Ultra sequence and of course a scene showing the Ultra descending down to deliver a beating on the monster. It always gets me hyped. Always.
I really love Ultraman Rises as it makes the Ultramans as memorable like what some of the following people have said in the comments section. It is a trademark thing at this point.
At 6:04, I laugh when Ultraman Dyna just kept appearing like he has been in the ground for thousands of years and he hit the monster/kaiju. At 6:20, Tsuburaya's CGI back then needed improvements as it still looks fake. At 7:11, I laugh lovely when you roasted Ultraman Ginga's first transformation.
Such a fun topic. I love Ultraman rises, as they're such a big aspect of Ultraman. People don't really acknowledge them as much as they should, because rises really do make or break the Ultraman in a way. (More make than break.) Rises really help an Ultra be memorable, and the best ones get you hyped for every fight by just looking at it. Every time there's a new form revealed, the thing I'm most excited to see is its rise.
Ultraman rises are apart of why I love the franchise so much but it's interesting how the rises have evolved and changed to be better but keeps the same concept and similarities because it's a core part of the Ultraman series that you can't replace or remove. Of course, I want to see a massive new Ultraman rise for Blazar but I am still excited to see how the rises will continue to evolve. Also, I wished you mentioned the rises for Shin Ultraman as well. Even though it's the same as the original, the recreation with the use of CGI is splendid, adding a form of nostalgia but also showing how TsuPro has evolved in terms of CGI and VFX department (although I am not sure if the CGI and VFX is solely done by Khara or that TsuPro's technicians helped Khara for the movie)
I think this video highlights exactly what I love about your videos. Something seemingly innocuous but you manage to turn it into a really entertaining video that gives the topic the recognition it deserves. I think my favourite rises would have to be Ace, Leo and Nexus largely just for the musical stings that accompany them but I also love how dynamic Ace's is (and the buildup to it whenever Hokuto and Minami would have to perform some kind of stunt to transform) and the background and sound effect for Leo's has always stood out to me. 80's is another really good one for how unique it is for Ultraman. I think Tiga and Dyna having so many rise variations is a great showcase of how much Tsupro were willing to go the extra mile for the best effects even in shots that only last a few seconds where they could have easily got away with stock footage. Daigo transforming at human size with Tiga's chest patterns appearing on his body before he's fully transformed is a personal favourite.
Fantastic video!! Very nice analysis and insightful information my man! I find myself throwing my hand in the air to emulate the rise every now and then 😆

Of course, Joneus is very special in many respects! Should have had him somewhere in the video

6:04, by the way, Ultraman Decker did that exact thing in Ultraman Dyna's appearance episode in Ultraman Decker show. 👾🤖👽👹🤡👻
Episode 20. 🎼🎵🎶🔊🎉🎊🎈✨💎📿👑
I did not think it was that bad but rather unique for Ultraman Ginga's first henshin.
