Here in the Philippines, Ultraman Tiga is the most popular Ultra here, to the point that if you actually tell them what Ultraman is, they won't refer to the original 1966 Ultraman but rather, they'll refer to Tiga and his appearance. While the original 1966 series had aired here in the past, Ultraman Tiga aired several times through TV replays throughout the late 90's up until the 2000's, solidifying what the Ultra series are to them. ngl having an episode that is dark and shows the characters at their potential lowest point in the middle of the series is good timing to me. it makes the episodes after that have more hopeful ultra-ism storylines perk the overall storyline even more. it shows that even those bad moments are not the end for most of the characters' lives.

Honestly I don’t remember much of this show (or anything from _Ultraman_ really), but it’s still definitely part of my childhood. My younger brother and I had received DVDs of two different Japanese stories as kids, and while we didn’t watch mine that often, we did watch _Ultraman Tiga._ 😆 I have much clearer memories of other shows’ DVDs I grew up with like the 1999 _Journey to the West_ cartoon, _Black Cat Detective, The Calabash Brothers,_ and the 2003 _Nezha_ cartoon… But one thing I _do_ remember from _Ultraman Tiga_ is that the Chinese dub had a banger theme song!! And as a brief toast to the success of this show (and the _Ultraman_ series itself), I’ll leave a link to the song here!: ua-cam.com/video/_ONCIVqjahs/v-deo.htmlsi=sIb1x4ldWiXClJIj

ultraman powered theme spotted goated creator
Funny timing with this? We'd long heard Tiga was fully dubbed by 4Kids but a huge chunk of the series was never aired. Then this comes out around the same time, out of the blue, the Tiga finale in dubbed form drops onto the net.
Seems the director of evangelion likes Kawasaki too😂really enjoyed his episode 😊
do about dyna or TDG pleasee.. im such a huge fan of dyna ever since i was a kid
Honestly I don’t remember much of this show (or anything from _Ultraman_ really), but it’s still definitely part of my childhood. My younger brother and I had received DVDs of two different Japanese stories as kids, and while we didn’t watch mine that often, we did watch _Ultraman Tiga._ 😆
I have much clearer memories of other shows’ DVDs I grew up with like the 1999 _Journey to the West_ cartoon, _Black Cat Detective, The Calabash Brothers,_ and the 2003 _Nezha_ cartoon…
But one thing I _do_ remember from _Ultraman Tiga_ is that the Chinese dub had a banger theme song!! And as a brief toast to the success of this show (and the _Ultraman_ series itself), I’ll leave a link to the song here!: ua-cam.com/video/_ONCIVqjahs/v-deo.htmlsi=sIb1x4ldWiXClJIj
Tiga was my first introduction and his design looks cool because he didn't have that bulging bug eyed look.
We were all turned to light that day.
Mexican here. It aired in the late 90s. It was great.
Hold what show was this? 2:25
That is Shin Kamen Rider, a quite dark retelling/alternative version of the original story (not to be confused with Anno's movie)
@@Kakimech89 Oh interesting! I had seen that one before , the Rider, I mean but I don't I have ever seen the show itself.
Thanks! Might look into it
As a lifelong anime fan I directly credit the dub of Tiga for keeping me away from Ultraman for over a decade. A particularly bad memory is that cheesy and awkward ass stepmother joke that for some reason was plastered on nearly every commercial for the show.😖😞
Bro tiga at first is dope bro
I'd love to hear you talk about Gridman
thanks for the video
its nice that the word tiga literally means three in malay and ultraman tiga has 3 different transformations
