Melanin Monroe yes try them. I love long braids but I get hot and then I’ll want to take them out. These shorties are perfect for the current weather and just to keep your hair out your face and off your back.

To me these are cornrows, but I know it the name started trending recently due to the death of a very popular rapper. And wow! Gangstas? No way🤣

I never wore braids because for one I thought my face shape wasn’t good for it and then I also didn’t want to look like the stereotypical black girl with braids but being isolated and staying home made me try out so many different styles and I love myself more, having a new hairstyle really ups your confidence
They came out so cute. I am wanting to try them but I am not a good braider to the scalp. I am going to keep watching to motivate me lol.
Tomorrow Mims practice makes perfect. Something I recommend is to practice braiding your hair without hair extensión. Once that looks neat you can begin adding in pieces.

Why is it called Pop Smoke braids? I wore this style as a child
Its inspired by pop smoke since he died. That's what they use to remember him by besides his music. Normally these are called gangsta braids etc etc.

We call these BALTIMORE BRAIDS since a child....

Not pop smoke braids but pop smoke inspired just because it eight braids going down doesn’t make it the pop smoke braids but a pop smoke inspired.
