I didn't realize there was a 6:42 in the am. Weird. Love the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Great Smoky Mountains. We have never taken our bikes along... but perhaps we should next time! And we love seeing historic buildings along our travels. Enjoyed this video. Thanks for taking us along!
It sure is a great way to slow one's pace to really get a good look at an area...one of the purchases I would like to make in 2021 is a fat-tire ebike...wow, you really caught the fog beautifully! Thanks for sharing....
haha...great intro! "do you see this?!?...no you don't because it's dark!!"...haha! Hadn't ever considered biking Cades Cove Loop but it looks really amazing. We didn't realize you had the loop to yourself that early, but in hindsight that make sense. Cool stuff.
This past year they kept changing the goalposts for a pilot program, but it’s usually 8am-10am every Wednesday no cars! We started around 7:15 but they opened the gates at 8am unexpectedly. It was still most carless because they go so slow!
@@MagellanandGreyhound were thinking through if we want to plan another trip to Cades and this is now on the radar. The last time we went we were able to hit up the firefly event. Have y’all seen that too?
@@uselesstutorials1153 that sucks. I think it’s going to be weird for 2021 still as well. I feel like a caged leopard right now. I wish I liked to do more inside things lol
GREAT video! We camped at cades cove 2 years ago and biked the 11 mile loop. Exhausting, but beautiful! I subscribed 😊 We are planning another trip next summer.
Thanks! I didn’t know you could camp there, but not surprised. What a beautiful place. We want to go back too now that they made the bike days permanent
wow awesome to watch, majestic greenery , stunning views of smoky mountains 👌👌well captured ,good presentation 👏👏have a successful year ahead ,keep rocking ,Never give up 💐💐
Mom and my dad and the family love Cades Cove. It was my parents favorite place to go. We used to live in NC. So they would travel there every year. Sometimes 3 times a year. My parents ashes are scattered in Cades Cove.

Definitely take your bikes! And check the NPS website. It should be every Wednesday from 8am to 10am no cars!
It was dark but later it was so beautiful and great place to ride a bike. Very nice video and how you describe everything thing is awsome too.
It was nice to see the sun cut through the fog and change the day. :) I am almost done watching your video now too. Catching up

I wish we could bike more areas. We are going to try to, especially after this
Looks like a great place for biking! Really informative video! Great job!
Thank you! It really was. Aside from a few slightly steep declines, it was a very pleasant experience

@@ConsidertheWonders no, but we heard about it. Sounds pretty cool! Did you have to do a lottery?
Another beautiful place to add on my list 😊🙏 thank you for sharing ✌️
If you’re like us, that list is long! 😆
@@MagellanandGreyhound yes the list is really long and right now we are on total lockdown where I lived 🥲🥲

Great bike trip…! I’ll watch for others…THANKS …! 👍🏼👍🏼👣😃
Thanks Alva! We’ve got a few older ones I think. And a few more coming in the next few months. I take it you like to bike/cycle?
Another great video in your line of great videos! ....I really like the old cantilever barns, would love to have one of those on our homestead 😍
Thank you! 🙏 We were worried due to its popularity that it WASN'T going to be cool, because that how it usually works, but it delivered in spades.
Great video, looks amazing
Thank you sir 🙏

Wonderful bike tour my friends. I love to see the ambience of the fog and then the sun so bright. Beautiful!
Thank you! That was what made it so special I think.
Awesome place with great views ..greetings from uk 🇬🇧
Thank you!
Amazing place with stunning views breathtaking
It really was. We love the fact that we got to see the fog and the sun
A lot of trails 🤩 the most was like watching a thriller along with the church view 😂
Thank you! And indeed, it was pretty awesome biking along it.
I just went to cades cove - churches are my favorite there! Check out my video, if you enjoy them as well. I hope you'll like it ))
Sorry just seeing this, your comment was filtered as spam. Just checked out a couple of them. Looks like you visited alot there too!
This looks like so much fun!! New subscriber here😀
Totally worth not driving it! And easy too.
That intro 😂 Made us laugh the first time we saw it. What a beautiful way to see all the historical stops along this route!
Haha we knew we had to share the beginning more than once. The video has been done for a month or so now. This was a pretty great place
The first 40 seconds! 😂😜
It was too funny not to include. When she asks, do you see this? The camera is on me, but of course you can't see me.

Wow, that is not just a place to visit. They really must have loved it to have their ashes there. It was one of our favorite parts of the park too
Beautiful and quite place for biking! Ultimate weather though visibility is poor at certain places! Beautiful and lush green trail!
The sun cutting through the fog - you couldn’t have scripted it better
Fast forward to 2022. Cades Cove Loop is closed to motorized vehicles every Wednesday for bicycles and pedestrians.
You just made our night. I’m so happy to hear this!
Would a manual bike work …. Not sure of effort needed.. is it very hilly?
@@cindycowan286 yup that’s what we used. Little hilly at times but it wasn’t too bad. I remember more downhill than up.
