Part 9: • Ricky Williams on Livi...
Part 7: • Ricky Williams on Why ...
Part 1: • Ricky Williams on Dad ...
--------
In this clip, Ricky Williams spoke about suffering a high ankle sprain during his first NFL game his rookie year with the Saints, and then getting a rocky start to meeting incoming coach Jim Haslett. After coming back from his injury, Ricky spoke about averaging 100 yards a game, and on his thousandth yard, he broke his ankle. Ricky recalls "bawlling" when the doctor gave him the news, and he stated that he realized he couldn't put all of his options into playing football. To hear more, including how traveling the world changed his mind, hit the above clip.
Ricky Williams opened up about going to the Dolphins in 2002 and having an incredible year, but not being upset about the trade because he realized before that football wasn't his whole life anymore. Ricky then explained that he felt like he loved traveling more than football, and in 2004 he retired from the NFL. He went on to detail how he made the decision and other factors that influenced him, which you can hear more about above.

Word!
Facts I literally just said that
It was text book bra.. damn good job homeboy
Did better than vlad
I agree. He didn’t make the interview about himself. He wasn’t condescending, he seemed honestly interested in the story.
The Dolphins ran Ricky Williams into the ground. He needed some help. Ricky Williams was a beast!
35-48 times a game it was ridiculous....

1,000 yards first 10 games 🤯 Ricky was a beast💯
Honestly if he could of stayed healthy and not retire the first time and get suspended his career rushing yards would probably be 13-15k. It’s still amazing he got 10k with all the stuff he went through.
I was trippin off them stats too. Bro said he was averaging 100 yards a game. AVERAGlNG 100 yards a game. Wild
@@greenteam5627 I believe his first year with the dolphins, he had ran for 1853 yards and 17 TDS while averaging 5.0 per carry. He’s one the best in my opinion, just misunderstood.

Ricky should have his own strain. It’s amazing the amount of people that have taken marijuana to where it is and get no credit. A lot of people had to be arrested, jailed, fired, blackballed before Mj became the cool thing accepted by everyone it is now
bro that is facts. Someone should make a strain dedicated to him. A very dank top shelf strain.
proper breeding takes years my dude. like virtually all celebrities, williams has nothing to do with weed culture other than being a fan of weed itself. the people who are actually responsible for positivity in our community have earned all the praise. you just dont hear about it because theyre not celebrities.
Ricky does have his own strain. It’s called “trainwreck” hahaha
@@sorrymane that’s not true. We have sped that process up immensely. But only a few get to ever see the top strains in the world trust me.
@@dcee1412 it is precisely true. i cultivate, dabble in breeding and have many friends in this community that have been breeding for 10+ years. i have no idea what youre even talking about when referring to “top strains” but if you mean highly sought after genetics, most are years old spanning as far back as the early 90s and arent nearly as rare as youre insinuating.

When the interviewer doesn’t look down and genuinely cares about hearing from the interviewee; it makes for a great interview!
Kudos Shawn prez. And kudos Ricky Williams for sharing your story
So basically Vlad uses the , “Black interviewer” formula, to bring in, Guests that subscribers would like to see, because it becomes more of an organic, natural conversation instead of an interrogation.
Yes sir !! I caught that with Lunell . I really caught it with Tyson , because Zab did an absolutely amazing job , and when VLAD found out that Zab soften him up a taste , he went back an started his wack ass interview .
So did you want vlad to interview him or the black guy? You seem unsatisfied
Nah Vlad just doesn’t know anything about sports, just gossip. VLAD is constantly reciting incorrect information and goes silent when the athletes mention details about their sport
or maybe Vlad is scared after the horrible Warren Sapp interview. god i remember him telling Sapp "So after you quit" and Warren said "After i what?" lol
This is awesome. When I was younger I thought he was crazy. As I am older now I fully understand and solute this man for moving on.

You can travel on a budget, but millions of dollar$ really softens the blow
