Riding the Paton S1-R on the Isle of Man TT mountain course + walk around

- I was incredibly lucky to be able to ride the Paton S1-R over at the Isle of man TT and it was an amazing experience!
It's an incredibly unique looking bike that doesn't hang around! This was the road going version but they are primarily a race bike.
I had the bike for around 2 hours so didn't get much chance to do much talking but figured it was worth making the video anyway because it was such an experience for me!

I had no idea I would be doing anything like this so unfortunately I didn't take my mic to the island with me. The wind noise is bad so I turned down the volume of the onboard clips in an attempt to make it more bare-able! I didn't want to cover it with music because I wanted you to be able to still hear the engine tone.
I did a full lap of the course but the traffic was really heavy so I didn't see much point in uploading any of the clips of me crawling around in traffic so just used the mountain section!
Huge thanks to the guys at Paton for letting me have a play, If I had 24k laying around I'd have one in my garage!

You lucky luck LUCK girl. Nice ride. Of course at one time all bikes had twin shocks, but in the modern era the Paton does look unique with its somewhat retro racer look. Great vid. Really like your natural, no bullshit way. Very refreshing. Love your panda eyes too ;))

The instrument panel is also used on a few ER6 models, just got an 08 f myself with old school analog dials :)
I'm going to have to ride the TT sometime, would be a great trip even though I'm no expert on road or track racing.

Like a big block V8 with a huge cam vs a Chinese rice eating import. The rice eater may be fast but it doesn't sound a bit muscle bound.
I remember when these first appeared at the TT, quite a few of the other teams were upset about it, can't remember why though.

Fantastic bike but the price would be a killer for the younger riders all I can do is dream. They really nailed it with the classic looks that bike looks fantastic and fun.
To the 17 jealous sad gay trolls that disliked this vid, get a life. Chaz just did what any real biker of any age would love to do, she rode a road going version of a race bike on the TT course FFS! Most of us never even make it to the island, never mind ride it on a bike like this that's literally designed for the job.

Don't worry about the wind noise I can always turn the volume down. But that shaky footage is a little hard to live with making me sick to my stomach. It's almost for the love of God get at least a GoPro 7 in fact you should get two of them and point one of them at your eyeballs you have beautiful eyes

It was a bit weird watching you over the mountain, as even though you did throw the bike around a bit, it looked like your head was bolt upright all the time. I guess it was a bit of an optical illusion, with the camera on the side of your helmet? Decent video, though, and yes, you were pretty jammy to bag the ride! 👍

Pillokun They are available as an optional extra. They obviously put all the money into the Chassis and the rest of it I suppose.
ah, okey that is good to know, the bike looks really flashy but when you as a rider look down on the cockpit you see the plastic and cheap looking gauge, it would at least for me destroy the immersion so to speak. :)

PistonHeadChaz Nice, I think the standard 6rn road bike is just over 200k so pretty impressive. Even the road going Triumph Daytona 675r is 184kg. I bet it was great to ride. Lucky lady indeed. Just need to sort the sound out now and I think you’re really getting the hang of this vlogging 👍
