You rode well , you rode safe, you kept yur hombie in sight ....... no regrets brother ...... proud ride. P.s. thank for remembering Joey's memorial.... proud first u man.
Brings back brilliant memories. Took my then new Versys 1000 over the mountain with full luggage. 2015 TT, best I could manage was a registered 133MPH. Still one of my most watched old vids. I just hope the health and safety brigade don't put a stop to this amazing event.
Great video……and I’m lucky to say, I live here, the bit you were on about that was 50 limit, used to be, and still is unrestricted outside of TT week….for the very reason you mentioned, people used to go a bit mad on that road, which saw a couple of fatal incidents two years on bounce , so they put a temporary restriction in for the two weeks now👍🇮🇲
Cheers Andy, Aye I bet it’s a fantastic road to ride out of ‘season’. Can see why they restricted it to be honest. So many numpties during the TT, the standard of riding was horrendous at times!👍
What a beautiful island! Looks like everyone had a great time. Hope you enjoyed your coffee and your stay! Love the use of multiple camera angles, and the varieties of footage- definitely keeps the movement and progress interesting, as well as a more dynamic experience from a viewer'sperspective. The editing you did with your transitions were so smooth and unexpected at the same time... awesome job Bruce!
It's a magical place. Hoping to get back there soon. Top tip, do not drop your keys on the ferry. I didn't but if you do I really don't think you'll be able to pick them up! The bikes are crammed in there so tight
Bucket list stuff that👍Speaking of Huchy, loved his off road adventure at the 2014 TT🤣 Awesome video mate, short but sweet👌Connor Cummins crash was horrendous, its a miracle he survived that!
Hi Bruce that Jeckal & Hyde end can sounds awesome great video looks like you had great fun over the mountain 😀 not nice to see an accident at the end though ☹
Cheers Alby, aye the J&H can really has transformed the tractor for me, love the noise and the ability to switch between the three ‘modes’ 👍 Yeah sadly accidents on the mountain section are commonplace during the TT fortnight, the standard of riding is pretty horrendous and folk just go way out-with their abilities a lot of the time.
Lovely video Bruce! Wish I could go back to the island but it would be a fair trip for me now. (5000 miles) There's a special feeling over there on a bike. 👍🏍
Brilliant video, but what always made me laugh up there was people seemed to keep more to the right hand side of the road, "just because they can" , never mind a smooth or racing line. All the same brilliant video. I'm going to The Manx next year, a little less manic.
That was amazing to watch Bruce, you can certainly throw that half ton of German pig iron around mate 😂. I think you embarrassed a few sport bike riders too. 💪💪👏👏
Top ride TP,i was there when Hailwood,Ago, and Bill Ivy where there, jeeezzz i'm old lol ;-) Ride Safe Mr B \m/ PS your mate does'nt hang around does he lol ;-)
Love the Isle of Man. Never actually been for the TT but for a few days with mates its brilliant. Great place to ride a bike and loads of good roads. Oddly though, no matter where you start and where your going to, you have to go over the mountain. Weird that.
I've been going to the IOM end of April for the last few years, it's brilliant without silly people on bikes. There are quite a few un-restricted roads still around, but they are sadly being reduced.
Like you I’ve been doing the TT and now the Manx for quite a while. Although I am doing the Manx next year I am also going over last week in July for the very reason you mentioned in your post, really looking forward to it 👍
Great vid Bruce! Loving the content! Some of the bends up on the mountain looked like if you got them wrong you’d be having a crash for about a week! Interested to see your views on the line rider tents🤔
Cheers Joe, aye you wouldn’t have a good day if you came off up the mountain! Keep watching the series and you’ll see my verdict on the big Lone Rider tent 😬🤦♂️👍
Now your making me want it to be summer again and in the Isle of Man Bruce! 😂 was that the Wednesday as looked like rain ☔️ will you be going again ? In 2023
He survived, I did first aid on him and he regained consciousness. I left once the old bill arrived and took over, then he was air lifted off the mountain.
@@teapotone I bet he was pretty banged up from what we saw. The distances the debris scattered, the position of the body. Probably high energy trauma. Glad you were there to help! Many won't have a clue what to do, or the resolve to act.
Great to see you having fun at the bikers Mecca. I was there this year for Manx and Classic, and also stayed at SillyMoos. Fiona has lost the lease to the farm (or its not being leassd any more) and so is looking for a new site to take over.
@4'58" - I meant Connor Cummins NOT Hutchy - apologies 🤦♂
Takes me back to May Bank Holiday this year when we had a couple of days over there. Great island. Riding heaven. Must go back.....

Well I wasn’t expecting this :-) what an excellent little vid, ps Dom looked fast as hell at the classic TT
Thanks Mick - aye these vids have taken a while to get round to editing… I’ve got a Switzerland series from 2 years ago coming 😬🤦♂️👍
The Isle of Man is still on my bucket list.
Make sure you do it bud, LIVE your life 😉👍

Mad Sunday must be Thomas the tank engine day, I think I can, then reality, I know I can’t. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Would love to see the island out of season.
Ferry crammed full ! Yep … always worth paying the few £ extra to be upstairs in the lounge, free coffee and snacks. Reserved seating.
Ha Ha, I hadn’t realised I actually HAD a lounge ticket, so sat in the bar on the way there 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤣
@@teapotone Bruce ! 🤦♂️😂
Superb :-)

This was Mad Sunday bud.
I’m there in April for a Clan meet with my Patreon bunch, not sure if I’m doing the TT yet
Mint that dude!
Thanks Simmo 👍
Full marks to the Gixxer dog and pillion at 7:37.
I love that place, how long were you there for total? And any viewpoints you'd recommend?
Connor Cummins came off at Veranda didn’t he? Brilliant video Bruce, I missed my trip there this year 😢
Yep it was Connor, no idea why I said Hutchy? 🤦♂️
Hutchy came off @ Guthrie's I think?
i shall ride on this island one day before i die
Make sure you do Lee, you never know what’s around the corner.
LIVE your life 😉👍
I just saw my marshal point 😆
Are those km or miles on the speedo ;-)
Miles
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Did you go on a round the world trip?
Hope the rider at the end was ok
He lived, well he was still kicking when we handed him over to the old bill/ambulance at the scene 👍
@@teapotone that is a relief
The guy on that gsxr must of been conserving fuel ⛽️ 😳 👏
Its not cheap you know!!! Trying to keep a big bear on a GS in me mirrors always helps x
Last clip.. shit 😐 Was the rider ok?

Yeah it’s a shame eh, really nice setup they have there 😬🤣
🤦 what's the point in having cones out on the first part of the course if it's one way.
