- Shout out to Jessie Reyez for stopping by The Tape. She's definitely dropping some gems here from her journey in finding her to the self awareness in her music. We dove into some of the tracks from her new album 'YESSIE', honestly I wish I could have spent more time talking to her.

Jessie is an 11 and she is a a healer through her wounded soul. I am a 9 and while I fit to a tee my life path she has helped to heal me. I know that life is suffering and I use that pain to evoke beauty. When she played in my town of Denver I was going through ended a long standing situationship (she helped me to understand I had to go) I was in active miscarriage at the show. I was distraught in my pain, summoning ALL of my demons with Jameson. That night I danced to connect to myself and my ancestors, I cried and screamed praise for her existence. Then I came a stank coochie woman who was upset that I was not watching the show. She pushed me in my face and every demon I had awoken came out and I unleashed all anger on her and anyone that stood in between. I was sad that I was kicked out of the show but I still feel that she gave the show I needed at that point in time. Cathartic doesn’t scratch the surface of what that was.
She is literally wise beyond her years. It's humbling.

Jess is in my opinion a real musical genius unlike the looney tune that people refer to, Jess is in a catagory all of her own and I hope she stays that way and don't allow the wicked industry to change her.💕

How do you figure your number? I became lost.
@@FranGrandees you add up your birthday and reduce it until you get a single digit. Ex- October 10th 2000 (10.10.2000) 10+10+2000 = 2020 then you add those single digits, 2+0+2+0= 4
