Thank you guys for having me and giving me a chance to play live. Also thank you for facilitating a platform where real conversations can happen. Real life.
I cryed during this because im white AND UR WRITE BLOOD IS READ NO MATER WHAT GERNDER OF COLOR ON THE OUT SIDE but i am very sad and i feel like dieing
She is such an amazing soul so true and raw I found her and her music last year and that sh*t spoke to my soul, made me feel things I've never felt listening to music her song figures.... that song is the story about my love life that I could never in this lifetime ever explain it blew me away just taking the song in and fully accepting it I'm glad people are starting to feel her she's great
Uhh love her I needed to hear this I'm crying I'm so inspired. because I'm Mexican, 23, bartending no higher education but I love to rap. I bring myself down thinking I'm too old, what I say might not be credible because I don't have a higher education and all this other bull shit (just devilish thoughts) But after watching this I'm cleaning my house then hopping on the bus to the studio. I can't wait till we collab it might take some time but you'll remember LILO (Lillian Lopez) thank you for not giving up on yourself the universe is funny and thanks to you my dream will come tru causing a ripple effect for the next ONE to come. Imagine Jesse Reyez, SZA and me kicking it in the studio making gold!! We're taking back this world and spreading real love. Gracias mama.
+Militantreturns trying to drag other people down into your lonely little bitch ditch? no thanks. let people do what they want. hip hop artists are gonna keep coming up and this one could very well be bigger than all of em someday. Don't slack LILO, you listen to this one, you're gonna end up watching line after line of new artists get their big breaks, and you're gonna be full of regret. fucking rap, yo. so sick of these pathetic ass people saying shit like this. life is too fucking short. what the fuck are you gonna do with your life, LILO. what this piece of shit wants you to do? or what YOU want? I'm rooting for u op. fuck u person I'm replying to
I remember reading that assholes comment and thinking I should delete my comment because that the backlash I've always gotten. I'm glad I didn't for every asshole trying to crush our dreams there's a load for people the universe (GOD) sends us great people who will encourage us and to that I say thank you and I will take this as a sign thanks so much. I literally won't forget how amazing your comment made me feel. I'm not gonna lie o cried... Thank you and God bless you and your family
Sean STROMAN DVSN is out of this world. Nineteen85 is a hell of a producer with such range, much like his partner Daniel. Daniel probably has one of the best voices in this generation. His range is insane in THE LINE. Sept. 5th is one of the best R&B albums in the last couple years. Shit was beautiful. Can't wait for the new one.
The main thing I'd want to ask her is: given how much pain there is in her music, now that she's made it and become so happy as a result then where does she think she'll find her next wave of inspiration?
Saw her on Fallon, heard her last record on Apple Music, this ones aight. She did it the same as Fallon. She def has talent, soul, and gives the chill bumps. Get yours B
Would be nice if Caribbean Mexican South American Latinos/ Hispanics would stop being prejudice against Black People & Darker skin toned people Especially in Latin American countries.
RLMG90 it would be nice if other cultures didn't gloss over the way that black people have been (and still are) treated by pretty much every other culture since forever for literally being dark maybe then we wouldnt have to be "such victims and cry babies"
I'm tired of hearing this shit man, 1 you guys need to stop being so sensitive and 2 have you ever been to Latin American. Blacks went to Mexico during slavery to find freedom and they did. The second president of Mexico was black. Don't generalize Mexicans especially when black people talk shit about them constantly. And Mexicans aren't black they're indigenous. Compare that to the US and then tell me some shit.
I love the dialogue. Hate will not solve hate. We must create spaces for our communities to heal from seeing and experiencing these actions against our humanity. Not all of us have the tools and support it takes to build resilience against hatred.
I was born in Bogota, Colombia, I just heard of you from Eminem new sound track. You now one of my top five female singers, 1. Nicki minaj, .2. Amy Winehouse. 3. Gin Wigmore. 4. YOU. 5.The Pierces... Birth name: Carlos Saavedra
